121  Other / Beginners & Help / About to halve on: July 06, 2021, 09:11:33 AM
Bitcoin will be halved immediately. Should I deposit bitcoin or use it every day? Can I still buy it now? My personal idea is to deposit Bitcoin. I am still more optimistic about the long-term value of Bitcoin.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 06, 2021, 02:26:43 AM
If the US bans Bitcoin, this should not happen, but if it does happen, it will have an impact on the market. Bitcoin will plummet. However, Bitcoin has experienced several plunges and is now in equilibrium, so it can withstand everything no matter what happens, so if Bitcoin is banned, the country that bans it will lose the most. I don't think this country can completely ban Bitcoin.

If I use the Lightning Network, will I double spend?
Have you understood how the lightning network works? In a nutshell, it is a second layer consisted of nodes which maintain payment channels with funds deposited in multi-sig addresses from participants. Read the basics here: Basics of the Lightning Network.

What do you recommend?
I recommend you to start using it. Then, once you're get used to it, try convincing others to use it too. By spreading it, merchants will sooner or later adopt it.
Thank you for your suggestion, I am a little worried about double payment. They said they would double the payment. Is it better to use cash instead of Bitcoin for micropayments?

Excuse me Smiley I usually want to use Bitcoin to buy things, but using Bitcoin for small transactions will incur a handling fee. Is it not cost-effective to make a small payment? Transaction costs are relatively high. If I use the Lightning Network, will I double spend? What do you recommend? Thanks! Grin
126  Other / Beginners & Help / If your country does not allow the use of Bitcoin, what would you do? on: July 03, 2021, 02:53:22 AM
A few days ago, it was learned that El Salvador has set Bitcoin as legal tender, China has banned mining, and India has also stated that it has banned cryptocurrency by legislation. Recently, the German Fund Positioning Act allows investment in cryptocurrency, but in the past few days, I have seen a lot of discussions about whether Bitcoin is legal. What should I do if Bitcoin is prohibited in my country/region? If mining is prohibited, do I need to switch to a place that recognizes Bitcoin to continue mining?
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Calculate profits on: June 02, 2021, 03:29:21 AM
I have a question might be stupid.

If Bitcoin is at 35,000 and I am investing 1,000 -5,000 and it goes up to 40,000

What is the best way to calculate ROI
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 28, 2021, 06:00:48 AM
I think it is actually okay to enter the market now, because Bitcoin will pick up sooner or later, and this kind of incident has happened before. I think if you enter the market now, you can hold it, otherwise you will regret not buying Bitcoin now in retrospect. Now may be an opportunity.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans Bitcoin again in 2021 on: May 24, 2021, 02:26:52 AM
Bitcoin is not like gold. Gold has practical value endorsement, but Bitcoin does not. If Bitcoin is banned globally, then Bitcoin will eventually die out.

For example, a computer program has been developed to be embedded in all computers for monitoring. This is easy to achieve with current technology, and it is no different from a computer virus.

However, as long as a country recognizes Bitcoin, then Bitcoin has value. Or if a small number of local tyrants recognize Bitcoin, Bitcoin is valuable.

131  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is death the end or there is more to it? on: April 07, 2021, 06:46:32 AM
Now I’m alive and in this world, then I’ll do everything I want to do well. After death, my soul may go to another world with memories, maybe reincarnation, maybe everything will end, I’m here As long as this world has its own moral standards in its heart and a clear conscience. So death is a beginning for me. Even if everything is over after I die, death is still a beginning for me.

A word of concern from a stranger will feel warm, and a word from a close person is not as real and warm as a caring behavior. For example, if a stranger reminds you to drive carefully, you will think that this person is pretty good, but if you say that you drive carefully, especially if the person is able to pick you up, you will feel that you really care about me, why not Why don't you drive me to pick me up?
133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Laptop for gaming purposes? on: April 02, 2021, 03:51:42 AM
I personally feel that playing games on a laptop is not very fun, but it is more comfortable to play on a desktop computer.
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: What inspires you the most? on: March 31, 2021, 07:05:51 AM
When others question me, it is easier to motivate me. If I want to prove myself, I will do better.
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to lose weight? on: March 30, 2021, 01:43:27 AM
Control staple foods and limit sweets If the original food intake is large, the staple food can be reduced by the method of subtracting 50 grams from three meals a day. ...Eat more meals with small amounts...dietary fiber...drink moderate amounts of water or soup...drink less alcohol...eat less lean pork...eat more fiber-rich foods
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: What habit are you most fortunate to develop? on: March 29, 2021, 07:08:12 AM
Get in the habit of throwing away old things regularly. Many odds and ends will take up a lot of our space and distract us. A desktop with only a computer, and a desktop full of papers, cups, and snacks, work efficiency is worlds apart.
137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Future Cities on: March 27, 2021, 07:18:50 AM
An efficient and intelligent city should be dynamic, the dynamic of the naked eye. There is a serious problem in today's cities. When it is necessary to make changes to the buildings in a certain place, it is difficult to achieve this because the local buildings have already occupied the space. For example, the increase in the flow of people in a place requires a supermarket to be built, but the surrounding areas are all private premises, so there is no way to build a supermarket.

Exercising for 20 or 30 minutes a day can not only keep your body healthy, but also beneficial to your health.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best book on: March 26, 2021, 02:01:38 AM
"The Help" has been listed as a "must read list at the bedside" by Vanity Fair magazine, and it has been well received. I recommend you to read it.
140  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you stay positive in the midst of this pandemic? on: March 25, 2021, 08:24:46 AM
Yes, we need to be correct and rational. No one will know what will happen in the next second. Live in the moment and don't regret it.
