Has anyone else noticed that the shipping costs gone up with the price of boxes at Cardsmiths? 4 boxes shipped to Aus was almost $90 USD shipping  I didn't place an order at those rates Is that normal shipping prices? I have no problem buying boxes locally at gamestops and shipping them to you @ actual shipping cost I know I wanted the cards bad when I first ordered, but I don't remember paying anywhere near that amount for a few boxes. I may need someone to re ship me some,.I will DM you if needed, I already have someone in the US who maybe able to help me for a little tip |

Yes I agree, that seems to be a reasonable price for a base set, especially now that 62 complete sets have been removed from circulation with the redemption program I may have an extra base set for sale if anyone is interested, I could go slightly cheaper than the ebay price. |

I don't remember filling it out myself or seeing it before, I just got the first confirmation with a form to fill out and sent in my set. Normally a CS is more rare than a holo. Yes. I filled out a form before sending and waited for confirmation email No problems, easy mistake to make. I was just excited to see the HF version of the MR 3 Usually the CS cards are more rare than the HF version, when i noticed the crystal sparkle MR cards being pulled at a much lower rate than 1:124 it was explained here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406560.msg61181212#msg61181212So the CS MR cards are not true meta-rare cards, they are rare, just not as rare as the HF version. (Most case breaks have about 4 crystal sparkle MR cards, whereas you will be lucky to even get 1 holofoil MR in a case) Regarding the base set redemption program, did you fill out the form online now asking for the Redemption Code? I only remember being asked to fill out the form when accepted and that was sent back with the set. Did the original form we filled out ask for a Redemption Code? I don't remember seeing that, and even if it did ask none of us would have had one before actually being accepted |

You have it correct. Just meaning that there are no specific "Hot Cases" that we have labeled or would even know how to identify which might have a better hit rate in terms of the crypto card redemption denomination or types of variant cards within the case like multiple 1/1 or 1/5 Gemstones for example.
In the sports and TCG card world many manufacturers will order "Hot Boxes" or even "God Cases" from the printer that have an outsized number of hits and/or quality of hits within the case. Often they will send these to VIP's, key influencers, or breakers to give the impression that their product is loaded with nothing but great hits.
We find that sort of practice offensive and insulting to collectors, so it's not something we will be engaging in. When the warehouse pulls boxes or cases to ship. we have no idea what's in them which is the way we like it.
Sorry I'm confused as well. My understanding is that redemption card are not exclusive to cases. Can a box or pack (as opposed to a case) also have a redemption card? I'm guessing they are opening cases at the warehouse to fill single box orders, so if there is a redemption card in that case, some lucky buyer could get it by just purchasing a single box. If you order a case you will get a fresh case, guaranteed to have a redemption card inside |

Great to see the cards Spreading out across the land to multiple stores. I noticed that Cardsmiths increased their price for boxes to $33. Still same price for quarter case and full case.
They are still $30 at GameStop. Just bought two packs. Update: From four boxes I received a CF Nikola Tesla, a Beryl #24 The Moon 088/149 and a CS MR5. I should leave some GameStop boxes for other people  Nice score from a few boxes, well done |

Who's got the Onyx Refractor for me?  Don't forget the diamond refractor too  A quick update on the Set Redemptions.
We are just waiting for the printer to finish the 1/1 Diamond Cards. They estimated they would be done by now, but in typical printer fashion they have been delayed. We expect to see the test prints this week and hoping to have everything wrapped up in the next 2-3 weeks.

I don't know much about them but it appears your collection could be worth millions.
Is the market liquid and viable at these prices?
From what I hear these are like a status symbol for the elite online, most of the music industry, fashion, social etc have these now, or did at one stage. Personally I just don't get it, but that's just me All the best for your sales |

eBay can really be the wild west especially for numismatics and I'm guessing trading cards too. The hidden reserve mechanism just sucks for buyers, and there's always sniping at the last second, and there are counterfeit items, and bad sellers, and bad buyers, plus they hit you with a HUGE 15% fee as a seller. Specialty sites for enthusiasts will always offer lower premiums and more trust because of their forums and reputation systems.
MrStacy I'm working on my holofoil set now. Do you have any extra holofoils you would be willing to part with, maybe in trade for CS cards?

Wasn't Keepkey bought by Shapeshift at one point? Are they not maintaining the software for that project properly?
Yep, it was still a good hardware wallet after ShapeShift took over, probably better than the original. I hadn't used mine in a couple of years so plugged it in and processed to update the firmware as was needed, it froze and now doesn't work. I have looked for a solution but it doent appear there is one. I had my backup phrase so no lose of funds but it was a cool HW wallet when working |

Thanks for the heads up. I dont use eBay much so not too familiar with it, to be fair to bidders and not waste anyone's times, there should be no hidden reserves. The BIN price on the card was $425, if he didn't want to sell for less it should be made clear to anyone before they bid |

Anyone interested in swapping a few unopened boxes for a loaded coin? (Very low serial number coin #4)
I don't go anywhere near "physical key" wallets. Been burned before. Those things have liability written all over them. I recommend Ledger/Trezor on the hardware side or Electrum/Keplr/Trust on the software side. I agree that to store crypto long term a proper hardware wallet is best, I used KeepKey for years but it's now a paper weight after freezing on the last firmware update. I have a few paper wallets that I generated with a Mycelium Entropy years ago, so they are good enough for cold storage until I get a ledger or Trezor The coin I am offering only has 0.0021btc loaded onto it, so not a big loss if the creator pulls an "exit scam" like the recent nightmare with yogg and the ColdKey scam. I never knew Yogg but the coins released by MrCryptoHodl are always of very high quality and I highly doubt we will see any of his coins swept by the creator. At the end of the day the reason I would like to trade this coin is because i love these cards and would rather not peel such a low serial numbered coin.
