121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Research Paper - Participants Needed on: February 01, 2015, 09:50:29 PM
Hi All,

I am currently writing a research paper on using Bitcoin as an alternative to traditional currencies. I need approximately 10 research participants who have had experience in investing in Bitcoin for a period of one year or more. Participants will be asked a range of questions on their perceptions on the opportunities and risks associated with the adoption and use of Bitcoin opposed to traditional currencies. The questions will be asked during a 30 minute interview that will be voice recorded and will most likely be done over skype due to geographical restrictions.
I've struggled to find participants within my local network so if anyone would be willing to help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I think its always courtesy to gift something to the participants for taking part in such surveys over 10 mins. Like a gift card or something.
Atleast thats what they used to do back in university . I am personally not interested, but doing it would certainly get more interest for your surveys.

I emember op requested for the solution to be messaged to him in private. He might have got the solution, and might now share. But I was hoping to see a confirmation if there was a winner.

They canceled 3 times payout request today. it was 0.06 btc. İ am still waiting payout.

I had that in the starting on requesting the bonus as a payout. Make sure you don't include bonus in your payout request.

I think the ISIS demanding money for the Japanese hostages might have a role to play in this request being made.
126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS threatens to kill 2 Japanese hostages unless Tokyo pays $200 million on: February 01, 2015, 09:32:53 PM
Did they demand the money in bitcoin ? If they did, we would see a massive pump Tongue
I wonder how these money-hostage trades happen.

I wonder why that video has so many negative ratings.
It does seem to be a very early age to be taught about sex education.

He is wrong about bitcoin, but might be right on this one.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we here? on: February 01, 2015, 09:26:49 PM

I believe many are waiting for the Winklevoss twins to launch their ETF trust and exchange. When that happens things will get interesting.

I thought there was going to be an uopdate or an exchange opening on 2nd. is that not happening anymore ?
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: STRONG BUY on: February 01, 2015, 09:25:28 PM
Clear sign of Strong buy. Based on real analysis and trend calculations. (non-log)

If in a week, you think I helped you to make a profit, feel free to tip me. Send me a personal message (only after a week.)

People are too scared right now to invest.

Buy orders aren't strong because of the recent dumps as people fear another one.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: who are selling at these prices on: February 01, 2015, 09:24:27 PM
MIners cannot sell at these absurd low prices, then who??? At this rate prices gonna touch $100
Well if you create FUD prices will go to 100, then a lot of people sell just based on that, as they might lose 50% of their value, and this gets them scared and makes them sel.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price will be stable or i have to use another Alt ? on: February 01, 2015, 09:23:38 PM
Hey members of bitcointalk,  I am a bit new with BTC and I was so interested to use it but i see that the price is fluctuating between up and down too much which made me lose some money. Is this ok with BTC or I have to use another stable Altcoin? And which Altcoin I may use?

Sorry for being noob  Cheesy Grin
I find altcoins a bit more risky to invest in, specially longterms, than in bitcoins.
I would leave my moneyin fiat, if not bitcoin. But bitcoin is a decent investment right now.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yes, I care for the price of bitcoin. (Explain how you feel). on: February 01, 2015, 09:22:39 PM
I think that BTC and LTC will be priceless in the future and people doasn`t awere of that yet

Seriously take a moment to think at the events that would have to happen for this to occur... Not saying it won't happen, but it seems unlikely esp Litecoin.

Well the thing is that even exceptional technologies fail at times. And just because one believes in them to success, might not just get it to succeed .
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2015, 09:21:51 PM
Well, convincing people to sell in order to fill you own buy orders is not cool imo.
I don't think by making a comment here would make people sell their stash Tongue

137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2015, 07:58:21 PM
Going to be hilarious if we do break 230 and make a run for 240

ever since i started daytrading with ~5% of my BTC, ive been enjoying the volatility a bit more Smiley  These 5% daily swings are nice for setting up a few buy and sell orders on each side to see where it goes. I'm up about 3% this week (which is only ~$10, but still) by playing the different LTC/BTC/NMC/USD spreads

It sure is better than investing in ponzi schemes Tongue
138  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★SKYHIGHPOKER.CO.UK★1BTC TOURNAMENTS★FREE ROLLS EVERY HOUR on: February 01, 2015, 07:38:09 PM

What do you mean by long long time ? If it was the bonus, then I think he said, that you have to play and win, only won amount could be withdrawn. If its today, then just wait for him to be online.
