Would certainly split 50% between BTC and ETH. More into bitcoin due to ETH scaling issue that has yet to be properly addressed. Another 40% into 10 altcoins including Dash, Litecoin but also more promising coins like Zcoin, Decred or Ubiq... and leave 5-10% in fiat ;-)

My list; Waves İns İts probably will be 10x-100x
Thanks - Since i also have high hopes for Waves I checked the Ins project. What do you see as its biggest draw apart from the stellar team and advisors? I noticed the price has been slightly increasing; have you bought it at a higher rate or was it cheaper as an ICO?

Is there any coin that has cheaper transactions than dogecoin? I am thinking about using the blockchain to store a few hashes.
No. DOGE is the best and most reliable coin out there. The cheapest for transactions, transfers and you don't have to use ridiculous 0.0000234 type of pricing like most other coins. Cheers. I noticed a lot of transactions pay 1 Doge. Do you think it is possible to get into the next block paying less than that? E.g. 0.1 Doge? I have about 10,000 transactions to make so the fee becomes a factor

Is quantum a real threat anyway? I mean if you take a look at btc, one would have to break 3 different algorithms to get from btc address to public key and then to priv key. Granted, public keys may be visible on the blockchain but there is a very looong way to get to the private key. Once one hash is broken there would be a lot of publicity and breaking other two would not happen before btc community would switch to other hashes.
At least that is how I see it after spending quite some time on the subject but happy to hear an educated view.

It looks like the are doing a good job at getting new investors. I hope everything goes as well in the future as it's going now.
Is there any coin that has cheaper transactions than dogecoin? Dag coins (like IOTA and XDAG) for my mind have cheap transactions. Thanks, will check. Although I am worried about IOTA - heard it has no blockchain and I need to use coin with blockchain and op_return to be able to generate proper messages.

Just curious - Is the masternode in ntrn taken over from DASH or has it been built in from the scratch?

if you want to translate in czech, you should make a post inside the local board. unfortunately I do not understand your language. but I really want to be a campaign participant
Point taken. And I am sorry to let you know that the campaign has ended a few days ago. However, you will be able to purchase BETR on an exchange (probably HitBtc) in a few weeks.

Well... I guess you can be lucky... If you would mine a new CPU minable coin before prices go up, you might actually make some $$$. However, i tried most of the existing CPU minable coins, and could not make enough cash to make the whole setup worth my effort...
Did you try Monero. It is more efficient to mine with CPU than GPU. I checked hashes for hi spec processors and GPUs; The GPUs can be much faster.

Thank Joel....great article. It encapsulates everything I've thought...and the reason why I've backed DASH this whole time. OG crypto ecosystem just doesn't get it. That is why Bitcoin adoption has stopped growing and is in fact shrinking. It is why all these other "crypto" projects wont succeed either. They are built and run by fringe members of society like cyber punks and crypto anarchists that don't value the rest of society. And thus will always fail in mass adoption because they can't relate. It would be sad if dash gave up on anonymity and would allow mass surveilance on its users. But that is what it has to do if it wants to get positive reviews from the western fake news media in the future. However we already have such a coin its called "Ripple" thus theres no need for another one. There are plenty coins with transparent blockchain, mainly bitcoin clones that get absolutely no attention at all. Dash would not privacy would be Dash without fungibility, I am sure no one in the community can seriously consider that as a viable option.
