Fiat currency has never been used as a store of value, because it can be manipulated by the government, and the government prints more money when there is low circulation of money. What are store of values are those valuable assets that appreciate over time, which fiat currency is not part of it. We only use it to buy and pay for goods and services, because it is a legal tender made by our government. Gold, estates and landed properties are known as store of value because they are used as hedge against inflation. Here comes bitcoin in 2009 the only digital currency that can now be used as a store of value or as currency reserve for the future.
Yes Fiat is never meant to be storing value because there are lot of factors which can decimate the value of fiat, look at the currency of Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. I would say Bitcoin is one of the best assets to store value but that's not why it was created because even Bitcoin is volatile as it's best for risk investment and P2P transfers. Yes, you are right gold and real estate are storing values working for centuries but nowadays it is replaced by BTC. We know that Bitcoin is not only a digital currency but it is more than this and will bring a change in traditional finance. In the coming era, the traditional finance system will be completely disrupted and everything will be done through BTC either you use it as a storing value or use it to buy or sell something. When Bitcoin experiences a price drop altcoins also experience bear market too. It would not be wise to buy an altcoins in a Bitcoin bear market. As a newbie, I'll hold my coins and worker harder to get more funds to in invest in Bitcoin weekly. There was a time last year when Bitcoin was at $15k if you had compared it to now that the price has quadrupled, you would think that there wasn't any hope of recovery especially if you had allowed the news feed you fear. With Bitcoin there is also 100% possiblity of price increase. No matter how low it gets. Yes, bitcoin provides a guarantee to their investor that they will recover their investment soon whenever they feel that lost their investment. As you said from last year prices increased by quadrupled so those people who stayed on the last movement are now happy and those people who are out of the journey experienced many losses. There is a simple rule according to me in Bitcoin if you trust me I will never disappoint you  but trust and belief are mandatory. So if we face a situation like this then we will start a weekly investment until the price gets back and grab our investment with profits. |

If you want a suggestion then you need to not be impressed by any YouTube channel because they are showing the greenery. After all, the aim is to make more subscribers not to give any profit to others. And second is to start watching the news daily from that you can easily know which coin is going up and which one is down one more thing do not make any investment by the suggestion of others do your own research and technical analysis and then make a decision. We know a person comes to the world and starts serviving and the first and basic thing to keep him alive is food we also know that in today's time, the average life span of a person is 50-60. So in this period if he compromises on food then his life I think is worse. Besides this, if a person has a single source of income then he needs to increase his source like if he is dependent on a government salary only then I suggests that to start a part-time job in any shop this will help him a lot. The government salary he can spend on his daily life expenses and from a part-time job he can make some savings for his family. |

I think UK boomers are like most Western First World country boomers. Those who are lucky to have good health live a very nice, comfortable life. They retired at a normal age, don’t have to work until they’re near dead to pay bills & they bought their home like 40-50 years ago for far, far less than it is currently worth. I feel this boom wasn't only in the UK, I've heard of similar stories in my country Nigeria where the older generation people use to talk about the good old days they use to enjoy, where they basically got free education, affordable social amenities life then general was easy for them. I feel maybe they had fewer population then and government could easy budget for the people. Currently I think population growth has skyrocketed and government on their own side are trying to fend for the huge population we have at hand. I agree with you, I also heard from my older that their old time was too good. I think they were missing their young age but in reality, they were missing the good economy of a state. I think at that time the population was too small because of the two greats wars and when the government was established it was easier to give all the necessaries of life at a very cheap price and job as well but in today's time the population is too high and of course, immigrants is also a big challenge so it is very difficult to provide a job to every person but if a state is not able to provide the job then what will we do a common man? |
