121  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 08:53:55 AM

We have heard this line so many times before.  This is the world now since the people from centuries ago introduces us to money and the economy. If all we need in the world are just there for the picking, then we wouldn't need money.

I don't think money is the root of all evil, rather, it is "the love" of money that is the root of all evil. The misconception that money is the root of all evil is a propaganda promoted by those who have accepted their financial situation and have found solace in the fact that they are poor, so to console themselves, they quote the scripture to their benefit.

The actual scripture where this quote emanates is from- 1 Timothy 6:10 (from the KJV bible) which says - "For the love of money is the root of all of evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Take Note of the first sentence, "The love of money", not "money" alone.

It's not the root of evil. Bible tends to exaggerate things when Jesus himself isn't poor. Didn't Joseph pay taxes that's why they end up in Jerusalem and Carpenter during that time is equivalent to the engineers of today? There are also good people who use the money to help. This is a different story but still relates to money that it's not so evil somehow.

122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep yourself out of the market? on: June 16, 2021, 02:47:24 AM

Sell after you profited 10%. Countless advice here is saying to stay out of doge-like an investment so it must just be a good opportunity for a price to go up but after that, it's time to go out. You know for the fact that it's Shib. When it's first announced for coinbase listing, it usually goes up that's an opportunity. It will become a nightmare after just a day because its not like a good project to hold.

123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What features should a good altcoin project have? on: June 16, 2021, 02:16:25 AM
Make verification and stick into a project which does have realistic roadmap or goal.
What verification, bro?
Yes, only choose a project with a realistic roadmap and goal. If we see the roadmap is hard to implement or likely fails to run, it is better to not join the project. There are too many projects with a nice goal but ended with an early fail because they make a sweet goal and not consider whether it is possible to implement or not. Or the team deliberately sets a sweet goal to scam people. They only focus on fundraising and collect the money at that stage. Then, once the fundraising or the initial sale phase is over, they will disappear soon.

Scams happen all the time in crypto that's why the industry isn't so healthy when it comes to these scams. This should be the first they put as a feature like escrow to the funds like maybe the funds are put inside the smart contract that will just release the funds when a milestone is achieved. But today the only way is to trust the team. Maybe if there are reliable people behind the altcoin project, the scam could be prevented.

124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin... Stop being so hard to defend on: June 14, 2021, 07:26:51 AM

Nocoiner speaks itself. Simply having no coin. If there are so many things to fix, why do they have to dip their toes into Bitcoin if it has so many flaws?
Like your BTC ECO, Bitcoin has its own consensus so whatever is agreed upon, they could do it without Bitcoin council otherwise another fork will happen and enjoy free money of the forks.

125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will not agree to a "Bitcoin Mining Council." on: June 14, 2021, 06:57:59 AM
The miners will likely do what is being agreed by this so-called council because they want to counter the fud. If in the future they could just go back to coal to mine BTC, there is nothing that this council can do anyway. This time while there is a regulation to be ironed and the fight for green energy, complying would be a good idea. But switching BTC switching to POS is a terrible idea.

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INDORSE - Decentralized Professional Network on Blockchain on: June 13, 2021, 03:57:50 PM
I hope Indorse wakes up soon, or if it dies soon announce it, too long I held IND, holders just want to get the money, and we don't need profit from IND, bought for 4 cents now the price is less than 1 cent.

It's even surprising this project didn't die yet after the long bear market in 2018. If they are doing some updates, the team is really persistent in what they are doing. Years had passed through and it's still not getting traction. In the past two months, I can see its price move up almost to $0.04, that must have been a chance to at least recover what you have invested in.

I forgot about this project but I have heard of this before. I understood this project is somewhat like a Linkedin for the pros?
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: June 13, 2021, 03:45:33 PM
If you are holding you better be making money out of it while holding. There are still coins that didn't really go below 50% from its ATH since the bull market. It must be a good hold token like this ETH. However this could not be a bear market yet because if it is, the price of BTC could have plummeted below $25,000 already. There is no stopping of downward movement if this is a bear market and no altcoins are good to hold.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib on: June 13, 2021, 03:22:58 PM

One reason is that doge had gone up already. Dogecoin was a good coin to trade back when its price was less than a cent. If you could just have 1M Doge during that time, you could earn every day with up to $100 a day with a tiny price movement. They are making more of it because it's easy to earn despite the Ponzi scheme of it like this safemoon.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 13, 2021, 03:09:20 PM
Everyone who panics is selling.

I think it is fair to say that the big investors (who initiated the dump) have long taken their profits, and only now buying in at bargain prices. The rest is up to the individual with a few hundreds or so worth of investing now thinking it is time to sell because they can't stand any more loss. It is these guys who panic sell, playing in the hands of the manipulators.

They are actually saying that this is an accumulation period now. The market isn't dipping below $30k because the institutions are maintaining the price at this high but not also low so that only the rich are able to buy.

Those who expect the price to still go down I guess are chasing still waiting for another dip so they could get in. Their USDT could still be in limbo.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: June 12, 2021, 06:57:35 AM
$75 or 75%? Because we don't know if the real price of the coins is $10000 and the discount is $75 I don't think that's a high but if it's 75% then it's really high. We are still not sure if this would lead to huge dump but the possibility is high of course it was a quick profit if that's gonna happen while the advantage of that is the project will be able to have money to improve more their project which could lead to price pump.

Whichever it is. It's still a big discount. Just think about it when the market price actually is $100. Those who bought as early investors will dump what they got for the very big profit from it. They wouldn;t even have to buy back these tokens no matter how successful the project is after all they have the BTC profit already.

It will take months to years before the market will bounce. But we don't know yet about this project though.

131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that this cryptocurrency/bitcoin boom poses a threat to Earth. on: June 12, 2021, 06:49:24 AM
The threat is in the form of increasing global warming which results in climate change. Generating Bitcoin requires a capable computer to solve complex mathematical puzzles and high electricity consumption. so that some countries prohibit mining for several other reasons such as in China and Iran some time ago. if so will bitacoin and others be able to run forever or is this just an excuse to change the green field to red..

Nah,this is just propaganda made by the Bitcoin haters.
Energy consumption isn't equal to environmental pollution. The problem is that the coal burning power plants are polluting the environment, not the crypto miners.
Even if all the cryptocurrency miners in the world stopped working forever, the coal burning power plants will keep producing energy,by burning coal and therefore polluting the environment.

If they comply with all the environment-friendly regulations just as Greta Thunberg and Elon are asking I think it wouldn't hurt the industry but will give everyone a chance to be in the crypto space.

Coal is very much effective that is why even today, it's still being used. Some trains are still even working with coal and the countries using these are producing more carbon than China and Iran combined.

132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has lifted its ban on crypto advertisements on: June 12, 2021, 05:57:35 AM
Google and Facebook are the two who banned crypto ads in 2017 but a year ago I already saw crypto ICO ads on facebook. This will still be auto, they don't manually check whether the advertisers are scams or not. They don't care about it as long as they get money out of it, there was even a DIEM ad on facebook itself but was a scam.

Google recently updated their policies regarding Google Ads and will now allow ads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets provided they have registered with FinCEN. This change is set to take effect in August 2021. As you may recall, the ban was imposed in March 2018 and lasted almost three years.

This easing of crypto advertising restrictions is a positive sign. Google appears to be warming up to bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general as many governments, financial institutions and private companies are increasingly liberalizing their crypto policies these days. What do you think?

I can even see crypto exchange, wallet advertisements on the YouTube so how these ads passed the Google requirements and keep playing on most of the videos related to cryptocurrencies and investment.

Google should never promote a project because thise projects created with purpose of money making.

The ad platform is solely made for the purpose of making money. They build it and collect data from users to target them with ads that fit the demographics of the users interest.

133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 12, 2021, 05:48:40 AM

Iran has a good number of miners which the government could make money of. This is a source of money for them as well. El Salvador had already did a great impact on the countries that wants independence.

The IMF had discouraged countries from doing the same thing but it's not stopping Iran. It made them panic when institutions come into crypto. Now it's bigger than the institutions like the government of a country itself.

134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: June 11, 2021, 05:01:14 AM

Just leave your private key with them and you are all good. Bitcoin is a good investment for your kids as long as you don't bring them with you when you die. If you forgot to give your private keys to the kids, it's all gone.

All your investment is for the future and the future includes your kids which what you have today should also belong to your kids when you're gone including your Bitcoin.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipate competition on: June 11, 2021, 03:57:56 AM

There is nothing to fear if your country starts regulating cryptocurrency, it's actually good. The fact that they are doing it means adoption is coming. You only have to fear if you are doing something wrong.  The banks will not compete with cryptocurrency but they will make a business still when it comes to crypto just like Paypal allowing users to buy coins through them. This could what the banks will do.

It's the Defi projects that will compete with these banks since the Defi projects act like banks.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'El Salavador' could impose national TV display BTC price in dollars all time on: June 11, 2021, 03:33:27 AM
BTC price in dollars all the time in one corner of TV and on the front page of national newspapers and on the hourly radio news.

[EDIT: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_in_El_Salvador]

The forex rate is also flash in our TV every news but we all know only a few percent of the people are interested in about it.
But if the whole country will have to keep their eyes and ears to learn the rate I guess it deserves an air time hourly after all it's their currency now. They could just flash the price below the screen whichever the TV show is. Bitcoin is going to be the talk all the time.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i believe a person who said"my trust wallet get hacked" ? on: June 11, 2021, 03:03:40 AM

Making transactions using the wallet only needs the password so yes you can make transactions. The only time that you need the seed phrase is when you want to recover the wallet.

But if someone says my wallet is hacked, I'm not sure I would believe it unless the funds are already gone. I may have to check the blockchain for maybe the wallet just got some issues that coins are not appearing on the wallet.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Public Sale at Sovryn] Babel Fish | Money Protocol on: June 10, 2021, 02:39:34 AM

Looks like there are only limited exchanges where to but rBTC. The only convenient way is to send BTC to the Sov app.

32,508,000 is 7.74% and 20,000,000 4.76% for the 2nd token sale. There is token allocation above but it didn't say what is these 40%, 20% or the 10% for, where do we see the whole allocated tokens for all like for the team, for the marketing and etc?

140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: February 16, 2021, 09:54:30 PM

Those who are good at leverage trading can easily make money, I'm sure they have become rich already knowing that every day they can make thousands of $ with it. But for some who are just hodlers who wait til the price hits ATH and convert to USDT, it takes them years to accumulate thousands of dollars. A market cycle they say which normally is what goes on with crypto. Can they get rich, YES of course.
