Install the latest driver(full install download from nvidia)? Cuda 11.5 or 11.8 build?

If true it would have been a guaranteed legal case as they were sold with full hash rate.
No. Still full hashrate with the old drivers. Iphone and Android phones has a similar behavior. Reduced performance on old devices. If you upgrade to the latest, you get the security patches and lower speed. Basically Forcing you to upgrade.

Is this true that Nvidia slowed down their older graphics card performance by giving driver update?
The gtx 1070ti has dropped from 31MHASH to 28 in ETHASH. Team black miner v1.71 cuda 11.8 build. The kernel is using more than 100 registers, and around 64 on older drivers, so I guess it is fixable with some code changes..

The cheaper RTX 3080ti LHR does 2100 on verthash, so the rtx 4090 is not much better in the random memory access algos. Can you test Kawpow on TBM v1,71 please. The 3080ti only does 45-50 MHASH (TBM 1.71) v1.70:

Been testing standalone ZIL mining with 1.71 and dual mining on Ethermine,Hiveon and f2pool with ETH+ZIL and shardpool seem to accept only 1/4th of the shares. so only +25% of what the calculators on the internet says. But the low power makes it profitable on $0.4 a KWh... ZIL POW is like getting POS reward but still keeping the hardware for future profits...

Hi. Yes, I know that message. But every other miner is working fine without any problem.
Something is wrong with Shardpool. Stale shares are accepted 10 minutes after POW (if mining to the first job). 1.71 will be released soon, but still problems with kawpow on linux and AMD cards.

|
|
Even after a 10 hours test, nothing. Same wallet and worker on different miners, everything works fine.
Seems to be an issue at shardpool. "We are working on a bottle neck issue that should give all miners more rewards. Hoping to have this issue fixed in 24-72 hours"

Yes, We are fixing a problem with kawpow on linux. Will release soon.

ZIL POW is only around 18 minutes of POW mining in 24 hours. So you can also mine standalone if you want to save power. https://minerstat.com/coin/ZIL10GHASH should give $27 a day. but the calculators are sometimes a bit optimistic 10GHASH of etc is giving you $29.97but at a much higher power cost.
|
|
|
About 20 days of free mining and holding the 18 etc mined.
Team Black Miner v1.70 support dual mining ETC+ZIL that should give you a +20% boost or more in the revenue with the same power costs.

A 10 GHASH farm is currently able to mine 77 Ethereum (pow) a month. In 6 months these coins could be worth $1000 a coin.
$77000 a month (around 20 times more profitable than mining ethereum 14 september) . But you need use other funds to pay the electric bill, hold and wait.
Ethereum POW is a commodity(oil, gas, coal), Ethereum POS is a security . Ethereum POS will be taxed as money in the bank. Taxed for 100% of the value but 500% more risky. If f.ex USDT move back to the stronger POW chain, the taxing rules will change making it more attractive for the long term investors.
|
|
|
Farm owners should convert to AI or Rendering, and sell cards. Small miners can find profit in small coins. Some of the minable coins can give a good profit in the future. The price of Ethereum POW is like the price of Ethereum was back in 2016, and when The Ethereum POS experiment crash and burn, the POW could go 100x the price.
Pure speculation of course.

|
|
The proposal all feels like a hybrid of POS which i believe most POW miners hate.
POW miners hate the hybrids. Why not make a thorium reactor instead? To preserve the POW...

As far as I can see Kaspa is the top for gpu mining. Vertcoin is placed on 31-st at Whattomine. Why do you concentrate at Ver?
Why do you concentrate on Kaspa?

1.69 has new issue now with "job not found" error after target change for VTC on woolypooly. i sent you a screenshot on reddit
The default intensity is too high for the pool. Try --xintensity 256. 1024 is good on miningpoolhub.com 256 good on hashalot.com default 1280 might be too high. Will reduce in the next versions.
