How can we discuss the positives of both coins and see what the differences are there?

I have read this instamine by a certain miner allegation. I then read about Botnets mining Monero and this discussion was getting masked by cheerleaders, which is why I started looking at other CN coins.

Negatives
=======

BBR has been mined by a miner who specializes in writing GPU miners (years or experience starting with BTC, LTC etc)
XMR has been mined by 2 large Botnet operators amongst other malware purchasable on HackForums (100s of thousands of overall supply to date)

Positives
=======

Lets start adding them here.

Positives
=======

XMR

  • Monero has a pretty big community, lots of big names are in Monero, most of them don't buy altcoins but they do buy Monero.
  • Poloniex recently replaced their LTC markets with XMR markets so it's definately not just a simple shitcoin.

BBR

  • Has an official GUI wallet.
  • Can send/receive to aliases

Anyone know more details about the technical achievements of both coins, please report and discuss. Want some good CN information coming out of this thread. Thanks OP!

Folks, Instamining/centralized mining/botnet mining these tend to lose any impact on the coins lives. Artforz was known to have mined 100s of thousands of LTC, along with BCX and a few others. IT IS NOT A VALID POINT TO DISCUSS. Even if it is, please stop garbaging this thread with negativity.

Compared to Monero BBR has pretty low volume, along with the instamine it should be an obvious choice.

noone cares who mines the coins, it's either dumped by a lot of individuals to pay for mining costs etc. or it's dumped by one or two botnet operators, noone really cares,

See what you did there? Contradicted yourself. I started reading about this type of typical arguments and started looking into BBR.

It looks like you have bought into a certain coin, and now will have to inevitably live the life of a cheerleader. You make your decision based on who else is buying the coin(which isn't bad per se), but it can bite you back in the arse.

Now who is knowledgeable to list positives of these two coins. Constant negativity is not going to help.

Do not put all your eggs in one basket. But "Divergents" like you are a threat to the "system" lol You must conform with only one choice!!  Not many BBR threads in the main alt section, so I am sure not a lot of people even know the differences. Their PR sucks, but even I have read and did some research on the dev(s) before buying the coins and can see some quality work.

@r3wt

Can you please elaborate on this GPU exploit? I might have missed this in their ANN thread.

BBR doesn't have a "sugar daddy" effect not network effect. It will get it's backing in soonish time.

Zoidberg is not a one man team. He is also widely suspected to have written major portions of the original CN coin. I also suspect he is thankful_for_today (could be wrong on this one), so he is never going to focus his energy on XMR. Instead he and his small team are working on just improving BBR all around. His work in not closed source, contributors are going to come to BBR just like they came to XMR.

Cheap current valuation is nothing to worry about. Accumulate and speculate.

XMR was on a terrific track until it started getting hastily shoved down everyone's throats by pumpers and a certain exchange. In due time BBR will rightly surface over the XMR drawbacks.

This is FUD. Zoidberg did not spend two years writing CryptoNote, then wait for it to be public, then lose to Monero to be the first fair release. If Zoidberg really was apart of the original CN team, he certainly would have been ready to release the first fair CN coin.

You're a liar, you're making up lies.

Also, BBR has not enough of a lead to overtake Monero, this is the Litecoin vs Bitcoin argument all over again. Perhaps if BBR had a entirely different anonymity system then sure, it could be a competitor, but it's not. BBR has the same stuff that Monero has and both teams (Monero and BBR) have been using each others commits, so the intellectual knowledge sharing is quite even actually.

You're making a case that isn't, very sad to see BBR supporters being this lame.

One of the only people I respect in the BBR community is Zoidberg, many of the BBR supporters like yourself just make up fiction and lies, I cannot respect a liar.

 I think your time would be much wiser spent on being a good brown nosing cheerleader and attacking every coin that you dislike, rather than attacking me and my lying abilities, mate. I do not represent any camps. I am just not your regular cheerleader of one coin. Cryptos have a funny way of biting you back in your arse. Let's catch up down the road and see where things are in a few months, hey?

Once the manipulative games being played right now are over, the right CN coin will rise to the top "organically". Let people be castle-eyed for now. It is fun watching these from the sidelines.  Cool

smooth, tacotime and BCX are more than welcome to join BBR.

I did not mine BBR from the start thinking Boolberry is not a cool coin name. A month later, I think this is exactly what a private currency needs to sound like.

Looks like the dilapidated castle owner's nut-washing brown nosers are now trickling over to this thread. He has promised the sheep that his pump and dump dinero will make all the sheeple buy "castles" in future too. The poloniex staff is also colluding with the dinero pump team which is not something that is unheard of in BTC exchanges world either. Don't get burnt in these games. Support real developers folks and good luck here.

In case you are not aware,BTC dumps are in progress and it will affect most all alts.

Awesome job zoidberg. I think this is the best CryptoNote coin and the future. BitMonero has been taken over by celebrity pump and dumpers with the sheep mindlessly following them, when the real gem developer is right here. I think with time more and more will come to this coin because of all the advantages and technical advancements you have been making.

So this impacts all CN coins? Interested to know if it impacts BBR too. BBR's only small problem is launch a few days after BitMonero. Well that and the huge Polo pump/scam going on in order to suck in new investors. Apparently the admins of the exchange are openly talking about their orders and positions. Huge buy walls set up by the usual suspects with insider help and what not.

Darkota would be a good name for annon coin. You should make your own coin, if its truly annon noone will know if you instamined it or not Smiley And there seem to be serious shortage of annon coins so it will probably be a success too

LOL, I love his retarded post. This is how zombies get produced and he will also reproduce one day and produce more zombies. What he doesn't know is that a lot of the BitMonero miners were good ole friends of believers of Bytecoin and had optimized "slow_hash" simpleminer and were Instamining from the get go.

LMAO @ slow_hash, it was ownage. One of the most hilarious kind.

One thing for sure though. The optimized wild keccac miner was brilliant. It was "ArtForz"y. Nature always rewards the smarts. It punishes dumb "investors". You will see it one day when BBR comes into the rightful limelight and all this "network" effect ceases from the pumpndumpers.

Nice lying there, you're a sockpuppet newbie account...It's funny how all the supporters of the instamined/premined coins, boolberry and bytecoin, are newbies who are clearly sockpuppet accounts.

Monero was never instmained, you can check by the hashrate on monerochain.org

Boolberry was instamined, you can check by their hashrate as well, along with the fact that a few people own a PGPU, and have been making 5-7k boolbery per day for a long time, and are still making over 4k boolberry per day as of now. The instamine for boolberry is in the hundreds of thousands.

Not lying. Instamining happens when developers intentionally introduce low difficulty for certain blocks and or mine in secrecy for a long time. Do you think optimized Bitcoin miners and hardware don't exist? Does that make BTC "instamine"?

SHA-3 is what will be used in 2020+. BBR is from the future today. This is just the beginning.

You are a dumb sockpuppet who got caught up in the hype and "invested" in a certain coin with your limited resources. You will be spending the rest of your life convincing yourself that you made the right decision and posting dumb posts trying to convince others that you have made the right decisions and go on a smear campaign against others. That is not peculiar to you, that is just how it works. You are not just a sockpuppet, you are a dumb infected program.

That's funny because you're account was made 30 minutes ago. You're a boolberry/bytecoin shill. Those instamined/premined coins have no future.

Boolberry has had a guy making over 5,000 boolberrys per day, for over 2 months with his PGPU and he's still making over 4k Boolberyr per day!! He by now owns over 200k boolberry, which means Boolberry can be catergorized in the list of coins that have severe instamines.

Clearly some prefer PGPUs to Botnets.  Roll Eyes

Also apparently there are some people called "traders" who Buy low and Sell high. They are cheating.  Roll Eyes

Listen, I am not trying to convince you of anything. You have to spend the rest of your time here convincing yourself more than convincing others. Technicalities will surface on their own in time and some people already know this.

Shhhh after a long time we have a Litecoin like PnD and people will not let it be  Roll Eyes

In any case, I think the right CN coin to pump is Boolberry.  Cool
