121  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Bitcoin] apart from which other coin do you think worth investing on: September 11, 2024, 03:16:17 AM
Except Bitcoin you can drop about 2 or 3 coin that are already in the market for quick profits. Let the ball roll down.

If we're talking about quick term profits then we must be considering MemeCoins which are highly volatile that's not exemptional of Investors loosing their funds overnight or getting rich overnight as well. Regarding this, it should be noted that the privilege of quick profit is equivalent to quick lost.
Then Shiba and Chaiblink are  good based ones regarding their liquidations and potential trading prospects.

God Level Proposal: Private Currency With Special Tactic To End Currency War
Read Only.

Full information is in the attachment file below.

It is too long and including images so cannot display entirely on forum, please read the docs.

https://money.visionbodhi.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/God-Level-Proposal-Private-Currency-With-Special-Tactic.pdf

That was a long article but I was able to read briefly with little understanding. Government overrules all including the decentralized and centralized currencies. Believe it that if that if governments in the whole universe want to fight against decentralizations, they'd definitely trap it down by banning every centralized currencies tied on them in the exchanges.
Think about how many people in the local societies are basically accepting crypto currencies for payments if not mostly for investment and trading with an exchange of the fiats which is governments owned control.
The government could decide to ban decentralized currencies in its state to save their own central currency. The truth is that the decentralized currencies could function not in the way of eliminating the fiat and then gradually the  wide range of adoptors in the universe could decide the appreciation of private currencies due to its potentials to assist the growth of the economy while the fiats may remain valueless. Then, the end of economy war of inflation would be eliminated.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Teams to Bet on for the Entire Season on: September 10, 2024, 04:23:31 AM
I know it’s not easy to put all your hopes on one team, invest a good amount of money, and wait the entire season while observing their performance. there are maybe possible features like the ability to cancel your bet, cash out after certain matches, and how the odds would be calculated.

Verily not easy. Infact considering football games in terms of gambling is a game of lucky, I don't think gamblers would even abide to stick of betting on one particular team at every league if the team hasn't been playing as the gambler predicts on their favours and remember we all have a goal of winning.
Also, there can't be possible means an experienced gambler would adopt favourite teams but would always analysis the capacities of the teams before making their predictions and if casinos would adopt this pattern then absolutely gamblers are being conditioned and denied to gamble as they wanted.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins: Not all that glitters is gold on: September 10, 2024, 12:39:05 AM
All that're typical hyping of the so Memecoins and it's similar to when we could figure out fake projects review comments. They're always well sugarcoated organized just to attract people to be victimized.
Ethereum has really displayed an open door for AltCoins which has foreseen the development of the MemeCoins and then there comes coins like Doge which has also created potential attractions in the crypto currencies.
Then all sorts of fake coins came to posses the crypto markets with their scamming schemes that is being much attracted to invest on in an onset while middle time or lather Investors are the targets to be scammed after much they have gained dominance in the industry.
Bitcoin has been high volatile currency in valuability which slowly ventures in fluctuations until it's increased in value while most of the MemeCoins are highily volatile with fluctuating dimensions heading deprecating while the coins value returns to zero and living Investors overnight robbery.
126  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin has built a strong global community on: September 10, 2024, 12:10:40 AM
Nice description about the forums valuability. This bitcointalk platform is actually an institution connecting people from different phases of lives together to actualize common goals which are either economy, societies, adoption of variables of life and most specifically has offered significant services of bitcoin discussion.
Good to say that bitcoin as a digital currency has effectively been a unifying currency potentially unique as a volatile asset.
It's a forum opened for anyone any day just as its primary aimeas bitcoin is accessible and adoptable for anyone.
Enthusiasts has all right to custodial their bitcoin asset and so also we're all of our personally opinions towards contributing to the forum.
The forum is so remarkable because we're liable to speak out  admist professionals whom had gain great knowledge about bitcoin.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin mainstream looks like to me, what's yours? on: September 09, 2024, 03:36:42 PM
I want to correct some people on here thinking that the involvement of politics/politicians with Bitcoin makes it mainstream, they are wrong, mainstream is a gradual process and we are not there yet.

Bitcoin hasn't been involved of gaining its contentments with the political harmonization instead it's been diluted by the politicians simply because the bitcoin is built in a decentralized system that's off the control of the politicians as a government.
I'd rather say that highily rich individuals who might be politicians, stock investors and even institutes who adopted the use of bitcoin from the earlier age has played interesting role to mainstream of bitcoin which has really attracted the average individuals to follow up.
The speculations of bitcoin such as market predictions and public awarenesses has also advent to the mainstream of bitcoin.
Interestingly to say that bitcoin mainstream isn't directed at the arrival of a particular sector or jurisdiction but of all that has displayed awareness to the significance of its broad recognitions and values.
However, we're yet to arrive at an advanced stage with more factors referring to bitcoin mainstream.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Nations League 2024/2025⚽ on: September 09, 2024, 12:44:55 PM
can Croatia win this match?
Croatia can beat anyone on their good day so of course it can beat Portugal too. Having said that, historically Croatia performs poorly vs Portugal so if I had to put money on someoone it would be Portugal (which I can't since I am Croat and can't bet against my own team).

I see you're a true die hard fan of Croat. I'd also prefer Croatia to win as I'm also one fan of Croat from a distance but being realistic, in reference to historical possessions, Portugal has built solid edges in the football game.
If we've to considers both teams past records, there'd find out Portugal has achieved more titles than Croatia regarding UEFA European Championship at 2016 and UEFA nations league in 2019 while Croatia hasn't been able to achieve any of these international titles.
For that Portugal plays exemptionally that finds it difficult to predict Croatia would beat Portugal.
129  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't there be a rule to prevent burst-posting or spam such as this? on: September 09, 2024, 11:11:49 AM
There're already penalties for spamming or in anyway forum users tends to break the forum policies.
So applying if there could be a law guiding that fact to prevent it from ongoing hasn't been a new development in the forum because I can remember that spamming or related going against the forum rules are banning, suspension and even reputational effects.
Just as other users has suggested on reporting the users posts, I'd also call on his mentioned to the board maybe sanction him with warning to refrain from the acts.
I actually made some research if he's doing it to meet up his campaign payment tasks but don't find him in any. So then I wonder what else could make me bursting his posting counts.
130  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto Bank on: September 09, 2024, 09:26:21 AM
I was thinking about it for a while. I am a developer, I understand the concept of bitcoin, blockchain and decentralization. There are cryptocurrency buying services, there are wallet creation services. People who want to have cryptocurrency already have and know what they need to use from the service.

But even though blockchain and crypto are designed to be decentralized, in a way I believe that the bank will then slowly switch to crypto and offer you a service, so your bank will make you an account, keep the currency there, you will use the payment card... basically manage everything as they do now. As it is now with fiat. Since a large part of the market people is crypto-uneducated this will be a good opportunity for banks to gain market share.

What interests me is that it makes sense to start a “bank” that will take care of customers like traditional banks do. Opening an account, buying a crypt, maintaining a computer, etc.?

Coming to this board section in the first time.
It'd be a good idea if the banks would buy and also sell cryptocurrencies to their account holders and that would automatically made them crypto traders right? I think it's already realistic in countries that the government has already adopted cryptocurrencies as legal tender for service payments such as El Salvador but if talking about the bank managing your crypto assets for you as implied with the fiats, then it's a no buyable idea because the bank has even been unable to tell us how the bank transaction fees are been setup up and how unlimited the printed currencies are but yet you're told sometimes that the bank has run insufficient fun to pay you when requesting for withdrawal.
Most times we hears network service errors and lot more.
Imaginably, how can the bank convince us to  believe they won't manipulate the crypto because then it becomes centralized and no more decentralized by which we undertake control of our funds unlike the fiats.
I myself don't trust the bank and can't advocate for bank running a crypto account opening for us because we're being already rigged with the fiat system.
If they can't be transparent with the fiats, how'd they be with a decentralized digital cryptocurrencies?
So how about if they insist charge fees for maintenance? Just a hell NO to centralization with my crypto funds.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the problems of wealthy people and what they want on: September 08, 2024, 01:41:29 PM
One of the problem of rich and wealthy people is they want more; they have a hard time moderating their greed; its part of being a human not to be content of what they want in life, they keep investing; they keep keep growing their investment because they want to be on top because they want to enjoy what luxury can bring in this life and many rich people suffers from healh problems because of over indulgence.

We can also say that reason why the richer invests to get richer might not really been on the consent of greedy but with the fear of getting broke.
Loosing unrecoverable net worthare usually cases of settling for less such as being contented or the fear of bearing further after which one was lucky to had acquired wealths.
Also knowing that stacking huge amount of savings with no potentials to yield incomes would depreciate gradually untile one goes poor and could even not be able to afford average living anymore after much living a luxury life.
Not funny to say but the fact is that being poor is like hell compared to riches which feels like heaven.

132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Accepting bitcoin for donations enables those in Diaspora to participate on: September 08, 2024, 05:20:30 AM
In fact, I find it a very useful way to donate to election campaigns with Bitcoin, especially for those who want to maintain their identity for political reasons for fear of the government or some corrupt officials who might harm them because of their political stance.

This is a really good way for those who want to hide their identity, they can freely support their political party with Bitcoin, and for those who want to show their donations for media reasons and care about knowing the amount of their donations, they can simply donate directly in fiat or through central banks.

A fact indeed very much useful. I'd assume that to be a techniques to stay unrevealed if have to give donations to the public especially on the political affairs because one could be indicted by opposition as a result of political sentiment of being an opposition.
Monopoly governments we sees today are most cases of making obvious interest in the public pool.
So giving your financial supports on bitcoin would keep you anonymous and even to a security wise level that the public wouldn't be attracted to your worth or the amount you donated unlike fiats would get you exposed on unnecessary recognitions and environmental threats.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2 or more accounts awareness on: September 08, 2024, 04:34:03 AM
Do you noticed that there are many complaints recently about gambling sites blocking the accounts of some users. The user may have more than one account but maybe they do not read the terms of service before gambling. This is the ones that we heard of. There would be more than we did not know.

The first three gambling sites that I used which were local gambling sites, I did not read the terms of service. I use the same ISP to open 3 accounts for the first gambling site. I saw no problem because I lost money than win which makes me to to have a single withdrawal. Supposing that I won huge amount of money, they could have used multi accounting as an excuse not to let me withdraw the money.

It would be good for newbies and many people on this forum that are not even newbies to read the terms of service of the gambling site that they are using. Having more than one account is against the ToS of all or most of the gambling sites.

In most well established and reputable casinos this is common occurrence and they say pretty explicitly that having multi accounts in their site is strictly against the rules, they can let you use VPN in specific cases where you ask for permission before and tell that the country and IP you will be using plus the specific time you will be playing, other than that everything else regarding multi accounting is strictly prohibited and this is a well known thing between most gamblers, even newbies know that.I have personally never used more than one account per casino as I simply did not see the use case although I know a lot of people are doing that at Stake casino as I see tips of over 1000 dollars sometimes and nowadays it is difficult for someone to tip you 1000 dollars for nothing.

In other words using a vpn could be termed as manipulation of the gambler trying to force in a duplicate account by changing his location Identify. I'm also wondering if such users would be demanded to always keep his device location active if he must be playing with that of his alternative casino account in other not to get caught apprehended to penalty.
I'm also being concerned to ask why users would even have more than one account in a gambling platform where they have to fund it themselves before playing with a very high tendency of looses.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Miners Face Leanest Month of 2024: August Earnings Hit Year’s Low on: September 08, 2024, 03:46:41 AM
So bitcoin users want

1) low fees
2) high hashrate
3) lack of centralization

I don't see how they are going to get all of these at the same time in the future. Pick one but you can't pick all three. Maybe you can't even pick two.

Even in the future it's impossible to get them all especially to the low fee demands. Technically aware, 19.5 million out of 21 bitcoin has been mined and since miners has been playing fundamental roles in the bitcoin blockchain,  some few factors is considered against the future pertaining how miners could also be rewarded.
That's why we can't get less than expected on the transaction fee as it's a reservoir to encourage continuities to revalidations of certain criterias in the cryptographical context.
So, the crucial roles of miners rewards in the future can't be comprehend when all 21 million bitcoin has been mined.
135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to maintain the seedphrase safely, so that no malicious person can find it? on: September 07, 2024, 01:04:57 PM
I'd like to know what strategies you use and if it's Ok for you to share.

It's best to have our seed phrase stored in both online and offline if only we could understand that they both have cons. Saving seed phrase in both sides reserves us chances to get reach to it if in case one is struck by its disasters which leading to total lost to reach out to them.
For offline, I've 3 copies which 1 is crafted on the wall of my house in an order that I myself will only understand I. The other is crafted on unmoveable metallic gate and lastly on a sheet of paper and hidden inside of a useless electronic which I've abandoned in a corner protectedly. For online is stored on my what'sapp which at no cause would I share it with anyone. Also on my mail draft which isn't connected to any online site.
And being concious of death cases, I've also let my wife know about were the nearest seed phrase is stored  as death is inevitable.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tired of gambling - whats your reason? and whats your baby step to quitting? on: September 07, 2024, 10:41:19 AM
He can't totally stay out of media related gambling displacement as long he's accessible to the internet. Even in your localities, he still can't seize to see or hearing relatedly to gambling in as much he's connecting with the public by which everyone has their lives to live and gambling could just be their choice which your friend can't change for thent.
Until a gambler has decided to quit gambling, he'll not stop gambling but would always be excused of not getting himself in orderliness of control.
So your friend just need to be mean and resist whatever temptations that'd lead him to gambling again.

138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Accepting bitcoin for donations enables those in Diaspora to participate on: September 07, 2024, 01:38:41 AM
I don't know the country in which you reside, but I don't think there is any country in the world that will have issues regarding receiving money from the diaspora. Anybody who is giving excuses for network failure and not having access to local banks is not serious. Maybe such individuals don't want to donate and are just giving excuses. Different payment platforms have partnerships with all the banks in the world that can send these funds to any part of the world.

You're right but given benefit of doubts just as pointed as one of the reasons is to keep their supports anonymous regardless that the fiat transactions is centered under the custodial of the government which could get them on track while giving their support using the bitcoin on self custodial wallets probably if they have a non KYC required wallet would maintain their anonymities.
It's obvious that most of the excuses were irrelevant but since it's a willingness donation, it'd be unnecessary in questioning.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2025 Qualifiers - CAF. on: September 06, 2024, 11:59:48 PM
In the recent AFCON event, Nigeria really played impressively during the group stage tournaments leading to the success of qualification in their group stage matches. Then much confidence were vested on the Nigerian fans believing that they were going to come first position at the final match against Ivory Coast but then,  Nigerian players took fans on shock at the final event as they were playing unseriously like the were on a friendly match. Honestly there was much disappoinments front eh players probably they thought the Ivory Coast were an underdog but took everyone on surprise that they were unable to beat Ivory Coast. I remembered Victor Osimhen was not playing impressively at the final round like when the tournament began
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking Altcoins For Interest Questions? on: September 06, 2024, 05:46:33 PM
Now if someone is going to hold an altcoin and can stake it, is there any reason not to stake it?  This is assuming you already bought that altcoin a while back and don't plan to sell it.  Staking altcoins isn't similar to like how people staked with nexo and celsius a while back or it's the same?

Of course for investment purposes, buying and accumulating of AltCoins is of one goal which is a point of gaining profits and staking of the coins is like holding your your assets in the market where your goals are being determined if going to be achievable or not.
That's why it's actually good to make research being staking an AltCoins in as much the periods of how long they could last to provide valuability differs due to their volumes of volatility and how they could maintain stable values in a specific period of time while coins are at staked.
