Looks like the good ole Tech Coin name is being hijacked & a group is having an ICO for a coin called TechCoin //git 2 hub or let the name just be taken over?

Way to quite on the thread, @ least the nodes are steady & connection to nodes are quick

The Linux daemon has always worked -- that's what powers our seed nodes -- not sure what's happening on your Windows 7 as we have several VM's in the cloud running windows 7/8/10 that have been up for over a year ?? Will see what it would take to create a .deb package for you! -dvd TheLittleDuke,
The Linux build going well? Trying to run on Windows 7, keeps powering off the tower & would really love to see a Linux .deb build. Could build from Github if one wanted too, that would be a single point of failure to thy tho & not all have the option to keep the overhead cost of Apple/Mac or Windows personal computers BTC

TheLittleDuke, Thanks, my Windows might have way to many WOW viruses & am in a place of almost HOLD a sign to GIT new SSD drives so thy doesn't not lose any data that has been acquired over the last few years ~Just trying to Give back more than my past mistakes, knowing that might still not be enough P.S. I could spend TIME to pull for Linux, like in 2010 before or beyond & am more concerned for those who do not understand Linux yet

How many threads does this coin need?
Sure looks like the original posted thread to thy, helped code the BB coding on the front page & left / right very long ago (amount of energy to run the app). Given all Mint thy had left to Linux Mint years ago, like many of the first altcoins & wonders {built} of the earth more to see more
|
|
|
Got ME a Nickel posted on a place where 1000's walk by daily, wonders of earth how long IT will sit there & hope to chisel IT out of ICE in months or New Year wish ~most don't see ruby or diamonds link of value like thy face does

Watching the simple machines forum over the years has been a great honor (from what began as basic text format), as one who used to take marketing for granted (not just signs, commercials & all aspects of the marketing world), seeing the improvements in how we view code as art since a page in 2014 BTC // pure genius on the thread "how to make" & learn, granting everyone the chance to create art

Was a cool coin once, still a bagholder, wish someone could reactivate DIGIT, I would contribute...
That would be great if anyone still has the blockchain files, also see only github left & all compiles are not up any longer. // I would love to see DIGIT make a comeback, had a great name & great branding

I was just wondering, what would it take for the Bitcoin Network to be shutdown completely?
To many operating systems && other communications .nets, the real question would be "can you shut down entire operating systems, radio or television"? Sure, but IT would take mountains to move && or what would be the outcome of such an idea?
|
|
|
Well the blocks are moving fast, though there would still only be 1 peer node && 5 optional trading pairs now
// git to love the ROM markets (other markets freeze on diff exchanges by rule of thumb), only able to trade (days / nights of the year) && no withdrawl or deposit available via ROM's
EDIT: @ least IT is not like buying 1000's of bitLUX years ago (@ Trex) && seeing the ROM market for years (@ YoBit)
^ just 1 of 1000's threw out the years tho && not so simple to just move on like many other losses

Is there any nodes? Can not connect to the network.
// network stake weight is only 208, even a faucet drip over the last years could move the chain & or if one is not careful with opening a staking wallet with months of stake weight (100s or 1000s of FIRE). It will just end up the same, it will have to be manual reserved with only a few very small blocks @ a time to get the chain back up. Set all but a few coins in coin control to reserve, otherwise you will just push the staking weight so high it will only be fixable by forking Should try to get on coinsmarkets.com if the chain starts to move again? 50.83.4.208:49697 188.134.72.213:51734 5.128.244.28:49680

You guys still working on this or have given up? It was nice to see it given life once before, I tried supporting it quite a bit at the start but seems like the interest wasn't just there plus the fact the alt scene was dying back then. Unless there is some active development now or purpose I'm missing? This seems like certain death this time. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tech/#!network According to the link, we are few, but there is a group keeping the nodes active. If you read this forum, you will know how much I insisted and worked for TECH to come back. But this is not enough. The problem has always been the lack of communication and a DEV TEAM. At Slack, which should be the best place to deal with coin development, I stayed there talking to myself. See: https://techcoincommunity.slack.com/messages?I feel anger and shame Yeah I put years & 1000's of hours into TECH (original post edits & many other forums since 2014, self sending over the years to keep a stable network when others use no fee + giving a lot away being a (very poor = no income @ all) community volunteer), not wasting my time on this any longer. The other one that I wasted so many years & time on has also been stuck for weeks, time to move on. I keep opening the application every few days to check & then think about how much I put into IT, if IT does actually pick up BTC

20% will be held to stake the network and keep it stable.
If you stake with 3 million coins, will it prevent others from winning stakes? I'm not sure how PoS is calculated. Coinbase maturity @ 100 + 1 block in a row would be very tough, then forks happen & the only way to keep a stable coin (anyone remember that one from 2013, still going I think?) is to keep the staking weight balanced between many nodes // just my 2 sat o lites, which I don't normally post my time stamped thoughts & just keep to myself over the many years
