An exchange should be as transparent as posible, and with all regulations on point.
Winklevii brothers are doing it right.

I think after the release a lot of current exchanges would become obsolete

123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the recent BTER hack affected the bitcoin price? on: February 17, 2015, 01:03:39 AM
Yes, we did drop from around 260 to around 230, which was mostly panic dump. However, I think we are yet to see the 7K btc being dumped.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn bitcoins without tools on: February 17, 2015, 12:48:56 AM
I haven't any hardware for mining, I live in georgia, where nobody knows about mining, so here I can't buy anything for mining but I can buy servers online such as hostgator and so on, is any chances ?

Just offer services and skills you have on the forum to earn bitcoin. Mining is no longer profitable.

126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help - bitcoin disappeared on: February 17, 2015, 12:44:02 AM
I am new to bitcoin so please excuse me if this is simple.

I purchase $6.40 worth of bitcoin from bitbargain.co.uk last week. After the purchase was transacted, I transferred it to my MultiBit wallet. It showed up in my wallet and I closed the wallet. Today, the wallet shows $0.00?

I just bought £81.00 worth of bitcoin from bitbargain.co.uk and now I am being asked to direct it to my wallet, but I don't know my MultiBit wallet address. I have logged into my MultiBit wallet but there's nothing telling me what the address is or where my $6.40 worth of bitcoin has gone?

Please help.

How did you manage to transfer the money to your Multibit wallet the first time, if you didn't know how to find the receiving address ?

They seem to be intent on getting everybody in the world against them.  Sad

Yeah bad for them. They also bring bad name to the whole muslim world they claim to be a part of.

i can offer paypal 20$ if anyone will accept paypal

If you have bills to pay and have 20$ paypal, then why do you need bitcoin, when you have an equivalent value in paypal ?
Also, might be better to buy an amazon gift card with paypal, and sell it for bitcoin instead.
129  Economy / Services / Re: Teach me how to make 0.5 Bitcoin a day! on: February 17, 2015, 12:37:06 AM
Asking this is like asking how to make 115$ a day. Figure that, and you will have this figured.
130  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade BTC/EUR on: February 17, 2015, 12:34:17 AM
even the big ones are falling or being hacked, so you will never be sure.

But maybe they are more or less safe because they are small and are under the radar?

How are the smaller ones more safe ? They would actually be more prones to end as being robbed or as scams.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC again reach 400$+ on: February 17, 2015, 12:29:39 AM
I think BTC might reach $400 by May/June this year .

Why do you think that ?
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC vs. BTC: Still the top contender? on: February 17, 2015, 12:29:00 AM
It does seem that LTC is no longer the top contender. I doubt a lot of people are still holding on to it either.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many Fiat users are Mentally Ill ? on: February 17, 2015, 12:27:25 AM
most people who use Fiat don't see technological innovations moving at speed into their lives very much, id have a guess at about 99% possibly higher

Seems most of us, except you, were mentally ill before 2012 Tongue
134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Say bye bye to your coins if you trade on BTER on: February 17, 2015, 12:26:45 AM
I had some coins in the form of Supernet about 2 months back. Glad I sold and cashed out the btc I had on it.

Trying to revive this thread rather than start a new one.

Anyone care to share their "winning" dice formulas?

There isn't a guaranteed one. All you can do is use strategies to have you last longer.

Tommy Robredo should be an easy winner too . Good luck with the 2nd match. I have no idea about the FA cup.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Public message to BTER on: February 16, 2015, 07:10:49 PM
Prediction:  Everything will be dumped.  You will never see a functioning BTER.com again.

Definitely sarcasm, in two weeks everybody will forget and will be back on BTER paying 2x higher fees..   Undecided

I doubt that will happen. This is actually the second time.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 16, 2015, 02:52:10 PM
I would normally have expected more of a drop over a banking holiday weekend

It seems that banks will be closed in China from 2015-02-18 to 2015-02-24 inclusive, for the Chinese New Year holidays;
give or take a couple of days: http://www.123newyear.com/bank-holidays-2015/china.html

IIRC, in 2014 Chinese banks were closed from 2014-01-30 to 2014-02-04, and did not fully open until 2014-02-07.  Price was relatively stable during that week (mostly 800--815), but dropped on 2014-02-07 to ~700 and kept trending down since then.

Since an assumption is made chinese are dumpers, so maybe we would see a pump Tongue
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viorcoin | Voice & Video Call | ViorNumber | Cheap International Calls on: February 16, 2015, 02:41:12 PM
Starting from today Viorcoin users can use VoIP during travel or when away from wallet qt without a internet connection.
How?

I realize there would be no investments in this coin before the bugs are completely fixed.
lets hope those bugs get solved at next release, by the way if vior gateaway is showing 2 gateaways (Europe and America), maybe Asia gateaway its not working yet?
I dont know but that could explain why it isnt working for you rakesh

I think he said that the asia gateway hasn't been added yet.
