A Bitcoin joke

Two friends are sitting in a pub having a few beers and a relaxed conversation when one of them changes the topic:

"So how did you manage to become so incredibly rich with Bitcoins?"

"Never mind!"

EPIC, AND INCREASINGLY TOPICAL!

124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC is losing value. on: September 06, 2011, 05:19:11 AM
We need to get more coins out to more people
Why do we need to do that? To ensure the position of the bitcoin wealthy?

I’d say we need to polish the Bitcoin client, infrastructure, everything, before we try to attract new people.

Holly Crap! Whats a real grown-up post like yours doing in a thread like this?!?

Too bad I already got five of these Sad should I get 3 more?

Be greedy when others are fearful. So yes, buy three more, I did.  Shocked

Got 3 more, now just need a mobo, guess its ebay time for another GD70. Dont care about others being fearful, I am in for the long run, love the concept and the pseudo-anonymity.

the seller is unity electronics again. So you can buy it from them on buy.com for $489.99 or buy it from them on Amazon for $600.  Huh
I am guessing they did some kind of limited promotion with Buy.com and the price will go back up whenever its over.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

Good Luck!

1. Pre-mine coins
2. Be uber arrogant
3. Say you are way better at coding than the entire Bitcoin dev team
4. Say your new fork will kill Bitcoin because it fixes several Bitcoin bugs
5. Spread some good Bitcoin FUD

Winrar so far:
  • Ixcoin
  • Solidcoin
I just look forward to less Solidcoin astroturfing on the forums until the next pseudo currency scam captures everyone's attention.
Huzzah!

Um, its dead... My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. Right before he passed out he said that Solidcoin was dead. I guess it's pretty serious.

140  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Network usage and 3G access of mining rigs. on: September 02, 2011, 03:53:15 PM
Has anyone actually done this? I mean really put up a mining rig on a 3g or 4g network and has some empirical performance data to share?

Thank you!

P.S any chance of moving this out of the Newbies section into Mining where it can get some more eyeballs and hopefully responses?
