Hey  I was in the same situation. You need a lot more money to invest if you want to make profit. (in my opinion) The problem are the electricity costs. If you mine at home you need a good miner with less w/ghs I recommend trading, buy 1 btc.. sell them with profit. I lost a lot money in doing useless mining  |

I recommend to go to a exchange like BTC-E or any site and take idk .5 btc and trade with it.
Just to understand the system and get a feeling of the market.
Its like training, i did this back in the days with ppc when there was this "big announcement"

Hello,
i got some btc from a friend and i wanted to buy a bit hashing power on nicehash.
I want to mine in the antpool but i cant really find out how it works.
I have the Ips (there are 3 of them) and they put in in the example "antminer.1" but how do they pay me?
I have edited my account on the antpool with my btc adress but i cant add a worker only a "group".
Is it only possible to mine there with an antminer?
My antminer s3 is defect :/
Why would you want to rent hashrate at Nicehash at a premium, to then mine it on Antpool by paying a second premium, to mine some BTC back at a loss? Like you could put in 1BTC and you might get 0.85BTC back. Whats the point? Actually look at nicehash they have ran under price of BTC for quite a while. They are no where as good as once was on profit. It currently paying -5 percent of BTC mining... so why anyone mines there I don't know. But that with fee's there and pool fees in most cases you still lose money. Most that do it and gain are the ones who solo mine and are lucky. And some lose big with being unlucky. Yes you are right. I would loose but i just wanted to know how to connect to the antpool.. the main adresses didnt work for me weirldy. Normally i rent there to solo mine at ck's pool. Its quite nice because you can have big hashing power for a short time. I would also buy some asics but the electricity price here in germany is fucking insane. So i need to come back to the cloud mining :/ |

I connected my broken antminer s3 Its only 180ghs but who knows.. Its also not worth to mine in a pool with it so i give it a try in your pool. |

It doesnt work for my antminer s3  The adresses: stratum+tcp://p2p.antpool.com:25, stratum+tcp://p2p.antpool.com:3333, stratum+tcp://50.31.149.57:3333 are dead. The only live for me is this one: stratum+tcp://58.250.173.48:3336 i configured that as: adress: stratum+tcp://58.250.173.48:3336 username: realchlorum.1 pw: 123 i dont see any hashes on the antpool stats. why? And why are so many dead?..  |

Its my first Signature Campaign. The payout is decent and they count the comments pretty good.
Seems very stable, i can recommend it!

Also ganz ehrlich, die Käufer tun mir leid. Ich hoffe echt nicht das sich jemand aus dem Forum so ein teil gekauft hat, dem wäre sonst nicht mehr zu helfen.

You definetly can make money out of it.
But its like BTC if you are an early adopter you make profit.
I got early into ANTI and when it went up to 300 sats i sold them (i bought them at 24,56 and 89).
But there is no guarantee for it. As example would ive been a bagholder i would lost the whole profit because they went down to 30 or something now.

The 360 second limit is for newbies. The more you post the higher your rank get the less will be the post limit. Its for preventing spam. On the Main page you can scroll trough every "Topic". When you click on a Topic there are more specific Topics. Therefore you can search everything you want. If you scroll up to the Top there is a link called "show me new replies to your posts" if you click on that you see the comments from people in topics you posted in. For Pm's you get a email notification. |

I solo mined also for quite some time with my s3. I got a really good share almost a block.. but my miner broke. Or its weirdly hashing with the hals power. Coolers are going up and down and red lights (XXXXX XXXX0) are on. |
