126  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: September 30, 2013, 09:59:17 AM
Hi guys!
We have now cancelled the last batch and we can hence start finalizing the numbers surrounding the mine.

Each IceDrill share is currently worth 10 mhash at startup (public+private), calculating in the public investor protection clause each public share reaches 12.72 mhash (only public). One share is equal to (1/23,529,411) of the profit this is  roughly 4.25/10^6 % of the farms profit per share. One share will generate 9,54 Mhash in dividend at the farms start and 3.18 mhash of reinvestments, to bring each share to a total of 12.72 Mhash.
Please note that all these numbers are made with assumptions we have been given by HashFast, these should be taken as estimates and not exact number.

18,500,452 shares are public and will receive 75% (the other 25% will be kept for further reinvestment) of the farms profit until 0.0015 BTC has been paid to each share. Each share will at this stage receive 1/18,500,452 *0.75 of the farms profit and 25% will be reinvested.

We’ve decided to lower the investor protection clause from 0.0016 BTC payback to 0.0015 BTC payback as no share has ever been sold (from anyone) for higher than 0.0015 BTC. This is a 6.25% decrease. We believe this remains within the spirit of the clause: to provide 100% principal investment ROI in dividends, before private shares attain value upon entering the market.

When each public share has been paid 0.0015 BTC, the public protection clause naturally expires and the private shares will start receiving dividend (The private shares will become public shares). Once this stage is initiated the private shares will be converted into public shares and start receiving dividends accordingly. An announcement will be made when this happens. The owners of these private shares may then do as they wish with them, sell them, keep them etc. At this stage each share will be worth 1/23,529,411 of the farms profit (75% in dividend and 25% reinvested), for the exact way the farms profit is calculated please look back into the main information sheet.

127  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.ASICMINER-PT on: September 25, 2013, 09:07:53 PM
Code:
Vezunchik, I think his point was that he was taken care of and happy. Stop being bitter that you were not able to pull off a scam and double your shares/income.
Clarify this - double what? As I know share price was 4.2726 on 13 August 2013 (My request date. Actually PMs was before this date). And it was 2.4690 9 September 2013 (when I've got my shares - not your merit). 0.577 ratio. I think you made your mind to sell part of PT shares that time and then buy them at lower price (dividends now and that time - small part of price). Good profit - nearly 1/3 of share price! Just one problem - you need to delay withdrawals. Also dividends for PT was nether in time until public wallet appeared. I can understand delay for week or so. But if it was your decision - I would still stood in the mythical queued for output as lophie or someone else. So if you sorry that your income was just 1/3, not 1/2 - I can't share your point of view. As I think - you stole my money indirectly - nearly 450 BTC. And my account with some other shares in addition to AM-PT when you realized that can't stole the rest of my money. It was exactly scam, yes.
And don't tell me that it was my risk and so. My only risk was to depend on you. If you were doing your job (nobody forced you to take control over PT) and not filling your pockets at the expense of others... And your absolute silence... It's really good way to negotiate with shareholder for public person.

Not sure what you are talking about. There was no buying or selling of anything in regards to the PT.
By discussing your actions here I take this as approval to continue to discuss your actions in public.

1. Until the address appeared in weds div payout I was unaware of a completed transfer as FriedCat had not previously communicated such.
This means all of your requests for anything beforehand were clearly out of my control as I never had access or control of the shares.

How exactly was 450 btc stolen? Oh, you meant by you?

2. You persuaded Friedcat in PM to transfer shares to you by cutting and pasting quotes from DT regarding the transfer of operations of the PT as if he was referencing approving a transaction to you. You received the shares via Fridcat from the PT balance without decreasing your account shares held on BitFunder and subsequently began selling off the now duplicated shares in your BitFunder account and withdrew profit from sales of the shares that you had already received via false representation for Friedcat leaving you with profits from sales of shares on bitfunder and shares that were provided to you by Friedcat from the PT's holdings that had never been requested or approved that represented the shares you sold into the market with a full and clear understanding of your actions.

You did a good job filling your pockets and made a prime example of why transfers were to be frozen.

Should any of these statements be incorrect FriedCat and even DT can verify or deny this.
Please stop projecting your own scam accusations and take them with you.

This is correct.
In a pm I verified that the transaction of the PT had been completed to Ukyo, I was qouted out of context to FriedCat to complete a transfer which should not have been completed.
I received no shares on BitFunder and hence duplicate shares were created.

Ask has been removed,
A announcement will go out tonight with the final numbers in terms of amount of shares and hashing power.
//DeaDTerra
And the lucky numbers are.... ?
I am waiting for a second team members to double check my calculations but I should have the announcement out soon Smiley
It is basically just wrapping up all the information given before making it a bit more digestible.
Once the announcement is out, I will also update all information spreadsheets and the contract on Bitfunder to reflect the final changes.

Hi all

We would like to close the 3rd batch of the IPO sooner than the 30th of September. As it stands, no shares have been sold at the offered 0.0016 XBT price so we would like to close it now.

If there are any objections to this, please speak up.

Batches 1 and 2 were successfully sold and raised the required funds for execution as stated. The project is a go.

No objections when are you closing it?

As we've not seen any objections to closing the third batch, we'll do it today.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 23, 2013, 10:05:33 PM
rama I am dissapointed in you.

Constantly defending with 'I don't work for them' while technically true has an air of deception IMneverHO.

The unsaid implication that your opinion is/was unbiased can no longer be alluded to.

I doubt I'm alone.

I don't bloody work with them. I went and reviewed them with an interest to invest money, and possibly time if they tick all the right boxes. I have remained unbiased with the exception I bought into a few of their products, stated, and the fact I gelled with Andreas and Sam, subsequent they have been asking me frequently when I'd consider working. My statement has always remained the same; come good on your promise to deliver as stated and we'll talk.

Marcus I especially get on with, the guy is a superstar. He is not your standard IC geek, for sure they employ some that fit that archetype but Marcus has tonne of personality and we both share a love for snowboarding/skiing, and have kept in contact since. i've for sure known a lot pf what's going on behind the scenes, but that's not for me to say. No NDA's were ever forced, and I would never have signed one anyway. Unless it's between two parties only, it's worthless. Again always stated that openly here. If you think I've done anything more underhand that exactly as I have stated all along, you are wrong. My hands are clean and I've been totally open, my conscience is totally clear, and I do not understand what the problem is. Nothing has changed, I've been straight down the line with everybody, especially the Bitcointalk community.

KnC is not the only company to approach me, neither are they the only 28nm company. I've had a couple of approaches made that would surprise you once I stated at the time I was keen on getting involved on a professional level with Bitcoin. I have always ascertained I'm only interested in a company that behaves with integrity, if KnC adopt the mantra of under promising, and over delivering then I'd be keen.

As far as any predictions I have made, they've been backed up with evidence and logic, and both surprisingly, and unsurprisingly I have been correct everytime. Only the Bitsyncom thing I never saw happening, I thought the many hands within the group buy/DIY set could cause problems, but they were for the most part exemplary, and inexplicably Bitsyncom fell to pieces.

I really don't see what you have to be disappointed with. I did what I said I did, proved the company existed, packed with engineering talent, and had the ability to build a 28nm ASIC before anyone else, and pointed out potential pitfalls, warts and all. This gave you enough ammo to make a decision based on fact, or delve deeper yourself. I never told you to do anything else, I merely shared my own thought process and aired my own concerns, ensuring we all had a fair and secure payment method as a choice. I picked the holes in other more shady competitors like XCrowd, where upon I received a load of flack, and they then unravelled into a scam unable to operate. Their products were entirely unfeasible, likewise other product offerings are entirely unfair to the buyer.

People are now armed with better judgement. *If* KnC deliver on time that will be monumental, if they don't, but are a week late, they will still be the fastest ever 28nm integrated circuit ever produced, and the Genesis Block will still be wrong.

You can review your judgement as to whether I am unbiased when, and if, I do work for them, but I've been true to my word all along, why the hell do you think I'm so employable? Aside from my education, experience, reasoning, and communication skill. Any legitimate company would want me, as well as the illegitimate ones, that's not me blowing smoke up my ass, it's because I've behaved with everyone's best interest here the whole time, and not been corrupted or coerced along the way.

I'm well aware of my choices, and I do not screw people over thanks.

Now your just being shilly!
Lay off Bitcoinorama, I meet him at the open house and I appreciate the service he has provided the community.
For that he should have thanks, not threats and whining.

@will, deadterra:

Why should investors still have trust into this security, when we see all these sells down to 0.0010? the next stop is at 0.0007
Please see my previous post about the price.
We do not control the market,
We are not operational yet, which means it is hard to price the asset.
If you are in this for short term speculation and all you want to see is a increase in the share price.
Then I would recommend that you have a think if this is the asset for you.
We are in this for the long term, until we are up and operational it is hard to price the asset.
If you think the asset is underpriced buy, if you think it is overpriced sell.
That is all the advice that I can give you.

133  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: September 22, 2013, 10:46:32 AM

You said you'd buy from other vendors if there was a better deal. Well, there are better deals. Here is the quote:

I could have sworn I saw DeaDTerra make a post about purchasing from other companies if they could get a better deal. Why was this post deleted?

Smiley You saw correctly. I asked DT to remove the post because the announcement was premature.

Please know that there are other companies in the space who are interested in our ability to purchase large amounts of hashing power. Some chip manufacturers see the benefit of focusing purely on their core competency (chip design & production) and like the way we've opened our offering to the community at large (decentralization of ownership). We've all seen the problems mining hardware companies have had up until now with sales execution, customer support, shipping logistics and all the important things that go along with delivering these machines far and wide. Doing it this way gets their product out there faster, smoother and with much less hassle than shoe-horning marketing/support/logistics team onto an already extremely-busy design team. As tech companies they agree that rapid company growth places negative pressure on their technical development agility. e.g. If you have a chip designer directly answering customer/sales support questions then you're doing it wrong.

My apologies if it the post removal seems a bit "cloak and dagger", but we agree with senseless when he asked the question:
Doesn't it seem kind of silly to only purchase hardware from hashfast?

It does. We have a 25% expansion clause to fulfill and relying on a single manufacturer for servicing all our future expansion needs is not only short-sighted, but also bad business practice. If other manufacturers can deliver hashing power which fits well with the IceDrill's enterprise-level, high-density compute cluster we simply must have the conversation with them. Any announcements relevant to this topic will be made when/if the documentation to support them are finalised, not before.

EDIT: grammar

As previously stated we intend to purchase hardware from whom ever gives us the best price.
This is our intention and we are working towards this.
Once we have a signed deal we will announce this to our share holders, but for now we can't comment as we do not yet have a signed deal.
Please be aware that we are doing our best to get the best deals out there.

We have already purchased a big amount of HF equipment and hence then next batch of equipment we are looking to buy is in January/February.

Cba to read trough this (again) so sorry if this question has been answered: What hashrate does one share of IceDrill.ASIC represent, or amount to ?
With the current amount of shares sold and if you count the investor protection clause (this will expire once 0.0016 BTc has been paid to each share), each share is worth 12.72 Mhash, without the investor protection they are worth 10 mhash.

135  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: September 19, 2013, 02:14:08 PM
There is a lot of talk about that the share prices are going down.
I would just like to give you my personal view,
If a share has underlying assets priced in USD such as IceDrill.ASIC has (HF chips and equipment) and the base currency is BTC.
Then if the BTC goes up in value in terms of USD, then the underlying assets lose value in BTC.
For example,
You purchase a gold bar that costs 100 USD with 1 BTC (when Bitcoin is 100 USD a piece),
The BTC price then goes up to 130 USD per Bitcoin, while the gold price stays at 100 USD per piece.
This will cause the gold bar to be worth 0.77 BTC/100 USD.
Essentially purchasing assets which have assets priced in USD is shorting Bitcoins,
Now as this is a mining operation the variables are more complex, but because we are not yet mining the above is still true.

On the flip side if the price of Bitcoin goes down to say 50 USD per Bitcoins,
Then your gold bar is worth 2 BTC/100 USD.
The underlying assets have not changed, the currency we use to value it has.

That is just my take on things, everyone is entitled to their own opinion Smiley

As for the 7 million shares, Eisenhower it is no longer a hard limit but a soft limit and hence do not need to be sold for the IPO to be deemed a success.
