Hello,

We verified the information with the processor already, please note that the BitCoin addresses provided by the system is for 1 time use only. However I got someone from the CS dep that sent you and email with the details of the transaction and the information from the blockchain and our processor.

Hi, I received the following response from ACR, but it does not seem very helpful. I do not understand the discrepancy between the official blockchain record and what they are seeing. I agree that the transactions have been confirmed, but the amount that I am seeing on the blockchain is significantly larger than the amount they are telling me. How should I pursue this further? Thanks!

Just as a warning, I think that the people who compromised Betcoin's database are at it again. I received the following e-mail today. I removed my e-mail address/password/their referral link. I haven't heard of this site before and assume it is a scam.

Hi ACR Rep,

I was hoping that you could help me get my account credited properly for a BTC deposit. I have made two ACR deposits, one on 2/21 and one on 2/27. Here is the link to the address I sent the coin to:

https://blockchain.info/address/1MiLWzo48NahLkqj7YGmLJShycEX5P3gHd

The two most recent transactions from the 1KyUDjwhwMzN1FXrghmQSruZKrdCPvpvfk address are the ones sent from my wallet. I did not send the other two transactions; I assume you guys are reusing deposit addresses. The transaction from 2/27 is fine, but in the transaction from 2/21, I sent 0.143 BTC (~$64), and was only credited $25. Could you please credit my account for the remainder of the BTC that was transacted but not applied to my account? My username is marlais, same as here. I have tried to contact phone support regarding this issue, but they are unwilling to help me.

This is what I see in my deposit history:

The full transaction description from the 2/21 transaction reads: Transfer from payment to marlais. Description : BTC_BITCLEARP-25437819-04E44BD8-8C92-48AB-B2B7-1CD041FCDF75 $25 $0

When looking at your PT4, set the statistics to sort by between dates 10/30/15-12/9/15. Then you'll need to go through each stake you played individually and sort the rake column by descending order. This should bring all the highest caps to the top. For any stakes under 4/8 you can start by looking for hands that charged above 2, all these are overraked. Additionally, any HU play that was capped above 0.5 at these stakes will be overrakes. Also, any 3-4 handed hands that were capped above 1. This is a little tedious, but you should be able to find the hands a little easier by doing this. Play around with some of the other filters and maybe you'll find an easier way to sort what you're looking for.

Thanks. I doubt I was affected, but I'll post if I find anything.

I have a 150k krill account for sale, I guess depending on what they are going for now.  Haven't been around for a while.

...then you probably missed the part where they banned account sales.

I instructed them how to find their overraked hands through pokertracker4.

Could you post a brief tutorial, or a link to a post with the info?

This is the 2nd time in the last couple of months that you've offered people money to post ass-kissing things.  Could you please take that money and use it to pay back all of the players that you overraked?  I promise you, if you do the right thing and pay back the money you stole you'll get WAY more positive feedback.

It's not even so much the ass kissing that bothers me, this is just a straight popularity contest. People who hang out in chat (or moderate chat like plo8) all day were upvoted the most and awarded the tickets, with the notable exception of jonnyrocket who was downvoted to -9, wonder why. I nominate plo8 for Betcoin Homecoming Queen.

This feels a lot like when Micon was in charge,no one came in here to clarify anything. Its amazing so many still support this site when it obviously does not care about a huge segment of its players.

What's there to clarify? An Android app is in the works, no firm ETA. If you're hanging around for glitch to come in here like weezy singing "sorry for the wait" I think you will be waiting a long time indeed.

2/15/16 Attention: Currently there are ~400 satisfied users under this 40% additional rakeback program and 10,000 - 60,000 satisfied users at Betcoin.  This is here to stay!

Please don't let a few disgruntled users (TwitcySeal and 1 or 2 other users) disuade you from this service.  They have a problem with Betcoin management, and have decided to hijack this thread.

I think I pretty clearly stated the problems I have with Betcoin: their lack of security, lack of customer service, and insecure code. I don't have an axe to grind with Betcoin management, and if they choose to rectify these issues, I would consider playing there again. I am simply stating that people should make their own decisions about whether to play on Betcoin after carefully looking at the facts rather than getting swept up in the hype.

If bitcointalk didn't exist, I would have never known about half of the problems people were having with the site. Just do your own research and don't get distracted by the endless signature banners, BIG TEXT, and colored fonts.

I heard that Mt. Gox was super trustworthy as well. Poker Dominicano had some ridiculously great promotions, too, before they flew by night, not to mention Lock Poker, Full Tilt, Juicy Stakes, Poker Spot, Ultimate Bet...

I have two recommendations to improve your security, which is my biggest concern with Betcoin at the moment. First, when your code throws error messages, it shouldn't give random players information about what operating system you're using, your directory structure, your script names, and variable names, e.g.:

Secondly, when you have a system in place to verify e-mail authenticity, it is insanity to include a URL to the verification location in the same e-mail. This is just asking for someone to spoof your e-mails and training your users to blindly click on unverified e-mail links.

Quote
Email Security Code:

Click To Verify Email Authenticity: https://www.betcoin.ag/mail_security_verify?code=

I also just noticed that the last three e-mails that you have sent me have identical e-mail security code hashes. Why make it so easy for someone to circumvent your security system?

I am finding it increasingly difficult to take the rest of your site seriously when I see stuff like this after you have claimed to have hardened your security.
132  Other / Archival / Re: ████►BETCOIN POKER | 50-190% RAKEBACK [HERE] | ACR WPN Tourneys◄████ on: February 15, 2016, 09:08:07 PM
You don't know what slander or libel means.  Stop using those words.  You are only making yourself look dumber.

I asked you three simple questions, all based on a comment that YOU made!  Why do you keep saying things off the top of your head and then ignoring any or all of the questions that those comments bare?

Here are those questions again:

1. Have you refunded those players?

2. Have you asked Betcoin why they haven't refunded those players?

3.  Have you considered ceasing to refer players to Betcoin since you agree that they act unethically towards their customers, and you are ethically liable...if not criminally...for those players being taken advantage of?

I'll go ahead and put words in xiao's mouth just to end this stupidity. Obviously, the answers to questions 1, 2, and 3 are NO, otherwise he would have answered them quickly and transparently.

I agree with Betcoin Jessica. There are plenty of other places to play, and people should play on sites where they are comfortable that the games are clean and they aren't getting systematically ripped off (or if it happens inadvertently, have confidence that they'll get reimbursed). I will continue giving these other less shady sites my business until Betcoin upgrades their security, code, and customer service to at least the industry standard. I withdrew the majority of my roll from Betcoin when the news of the database hack surfaced, and just now withdrew the remainder. GG

11 Feb 8AM
many guys with guns
broke down door
search warrant
Nevada Gaming Commission
handcuffed Micon
next 8 hours they took his computers and camera
same time frame, something happened at the Seals server in Romania, not clear what
remainder of Seals management team quit
Bitcoins are safe
will start SwCPoker.eu soon
they knew Micon is non-violent, and they knew there was a 2 year-old kid in the house
not charged with any crime
was already planning a family trip to Antigua
does not want to raise kid where creativity is met with guns and handcuffs

Definitely a bad beat, but at least he wasn't sporting his seals logo thong for the neighbors' sake. While I agree that Micon seems like a pretty chill, non-violent guy, I don't know how outraged you get to be about people exposing your wife and 2-year-old to guns when there were already guns in the house (locked up, I assume).

Some questions about the video:

Micon, it does seem like the NV gaming commission has gotten friendlier over the years, in that you're not presently in a shallow grave halfway to Barstow. All the same, it might be wise to put another bitcoin in the therapy wallet. If they hadn't caught you with your pants down, would it have been a standoff, snap fold, or drone warfare (with banana for size reference)?

Will potmo ever get his hat? It's a real collector's item now.

Are xdev/hdev on the swcpoker project, or did they bail with the management after the illegal search and seizure? (Were they the management?) Glad to hear glitch is on board.

Also, TY for sharing the gory details and trying to bootstrap another swc. It seems like you have a small, but extremely loyal following of degens and trolls. If you build it, they will come.

They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.

That's the main part that pisses me off.  I feel trolled.

I fully expected there to be legal problems at some point, which is looking like what happened.  Who knows, though, when we get nothing but bullshit from the site itself.

trolled...on seals? If the situations were reversed and you had been remotely upfront about what kinds of legal problems were going down and that the site was going to be down for weeks or more, your lawyer would have slapped you upside the head (followed shortly by your wife and accountant). I'm sure the DOJ would love to have an accurate uptime estimate so they can stop refreshing, too.
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 19, 2015, 05:15:13 PM
What difference does it make where micon is or what he does with his $3?

I expect transparency when there is an issue that affects my money....i don't expect transparency into issues that affect SWC, which operates in a legal gray area.

They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.

They ain't coming back . NOt any time soon if ever Its micons site. He has the right to close it down whenever he wants especially if feels the heat from the doj or whatever. I don't appreciate being lied to and having to find out from another forum that he has left the country and its way more then a hardware problem .  I don't appreciate having to find this out from another forum instead of the owners of the site and being openly lied to but thats just me.

I am doubtful that whoever owns the site would put up the money to have poker software developed all the way from the ground up to usable beta and then abandon it entirely. I've seen people walk away from bigger/more expensive projects, but if so, it's a strong level. I would expect it to be sold at the very least.

I don't see any hard evidence that Micon outright lied (yet?). I don't recall any moratoriums on leaving the country or playing on Stars. It is a pretty big hardware problem if you think the feds are on the way to seize your hardware.

Also, to play devil's advocate, I would guess that most professional poker players have extra pages in their passports. I doubt he knows which end of a soldering iron to use, so he's not really needed on site during hardware-related downtime. Why not take the fam on a little vacay to a tax shelter while the devs bust their asses? I bet he's up to Sly Medallion status on most airlines, and probably has a few krill to burn.

P.S. to sigmasquared: you should have sold yer account at BTC $800 brah...

loling in st6 hands how long will be down.  Prob in antiguas hands until licenses seals. Who is the govt leader of antigua so we can petition him to hurry up the process of liscensing seals?

It takes bribes. Maybe your othrr 2 accounts.

ha ha ha   Antigua has no extradition treaty perfect place for micon to set up secientolegy koresh type headquaters. Isn't it funny that micon was only an affiliate pro but didn't own seals ? Funny how seals went down same time he went to antigua. I told you all along he owned seals people told me no way .

Do they accept bribes in btc or only fiat?
138  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 18, 2015, 03:31:37 AM

So when seals get licensed in Antigua and becomes a regulated site does that in fact mean I can't call people niggers anymore in chat? This will probably cause much angst in odeano as well.

Are you African American?

Irrelevant. donk4u has Tourette's. It's a medical condition and he can't help it, ditto quaz0r.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 17, 2015, 06:26:25 PM
Do you guys think that donkdown has any hope tomorrow?  The freeroll or the radio?

looks like seals need more 10 days...they will not back this week for sure...

Why would they need 10 more days? Donkdown is cancelled every week.
140  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 16, 2015, 03:15:04 AM
1)  really sorry for no comms last few days, I understand the frustration.  Sometimes life happens at the worst times and you come back to a shitstorm.
2)  ST6 is primarily focused on getting SwC back
3)  balances are available for withdraw.  big ups to hdev for handling them.
4)  bitcoins are safe, and I reiterate that they are available for withdraw if you'd like them.  Big ups to all of ST6 for this, with the MVP going to hdev
5)  No clue how long we will be down, it's in ST6's hands and it looks like it may be a bit. I'm not going to say anything further until I spend a bunch of hours understanding the exact nature of the issue.
6)  tyvm for playing SwC, and I understand how frustrating it must be not to have it right now.  As many of the beta testers can verify (please, speak up now, I understand I swore you all to secrecy but it's totally cool now) we are very close to dropping absolutely super-nasty bitcoin poker 2.0 software.  We have been playing live games for small stakes for a few weeks now, and I can promise the bitcoin poker world we are going to drop this all over your faces very soon.  During this unplanned, extended downtime please thing about our history, and how we have consistently delivered since 2011.

Bear with us, I wanna dealer's choice too Smiley

The bolded part is what concerns me.  Seems Micon is not telling the whole story, and holding information back.

Let's be clear. Micon is not spending a bunch of hours tooling over Ohm's Law. But, if they found a security hole either in their software or someone else's ('memba when an Oracle bug took down Orbitz.com?), I'm sure they won't talk about it until it's thoroughly patched. A more benign explanation is that ST6 doesn't want the resultant static if the chairman starts running his mouth and popping off ETAs with no basis in reality.

I, for one, will not be satisfied until there is another "breakfast with the chairman" video featuring bathrobes and biscuits. Better yet, breakfast with ST6, the chairman, bathrobes, and biscuits.
