122  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 22, 2012, 07:10:17 AM
HA, great time to start testing on here. Got my invite a while ago and never did anything with it. Tried to setup a worker tonight (blank account, never used it before) and its spits out an error. Could be toast, who knows.....
123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone using BTC to buy Silver/Gold on Coinabul? on: April 22, 2012, 03:34:03 AM
Apmex has a 1500 minumum for wire orders to the Great White North...... kinda kills it for me.

126  Economy / Goods / Re: Spend Bitcoins on gold, silver, and other precious metals on: March 30, 2012, 10:59:14 PM
This would save on purchses from the services that offer precious metals for BTC, unfortunatly APMEX's minumum for an order to my country paid by Wire Transfer is $1500.

I have 15gh in 5790's, its .0202/kw here but I'm running out of breakers.

5GH in a 900sqft condo, Electricity included in condo fees, not seperatly metered.
Pretty much out of circuits as well.
128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinabul gone Bust? on: March 14, 2012, 01:20:02 AM
IRC is fairly well watched by them too.
129  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Any sites accept BitCoins for bullion GOLD/SILVER coins? on: March 13, 2012, 01:52:31 AM
did you need to pay tax on your order? I abandoned the shopping cart when I saw sale tax added......

No tax on gold/platinum .995 or better and silver .999 or better in Canada. Not sure about elsewhere.
130  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Any sites accept BitCoins for bullion GOLD/SILVER coins? on: March 12, 2012, 12:50:51 AM

OR

I've placed a couple orders with them now, shipping took about a week once the order was processed. You can get up to $1k worth for a decent shipping/insurance rate, once you jump over that its the next rate, so depending on your needs sometims its handy to stay under that and get more with your next order.

The variety of products is what atracted me, and various sizes should you need 1/10oz or 100oz.

Any chance you guys will some day offer Silver Maples?
132  Economy / Goods / Re: BTC for Silver in Canada on: February 17, 2012, 03:59:34 AM
Coinabul ships to Canada too.

Tax wise there is nothing to pay for any .920 or better silver/gold so you may want to stay away from junk/industrial metals or those old 50%/80% silver coins cuz there will be GST on them. If your purchase is within Canada the shipping is gst-able cuz it is a service.

I got my first order from Coinabul in 18days, currently waiting on my 2nd order.
133  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Most Bitcoins Mined Without Solving a Block? on: February 09, 2012, 08:32:31 PM
I'm pretty well even. Solved 6 blocks as part of pools, nearing 295btc paid out.
134  Economy / Services / Re: Coinabul - Buy Silver/Gold for Bitcoin on: February 02, 2012, 03:14:34 AM
+1 for a bit of communication probs via the website in early January. BUT you can always get a hold of them in #coinabul on the freenode IRC network.
135  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 1 oz Silver Bars from Apmex/Silvertowne (8 bars) @ Spot Price+Ship on: January 31, 2012, 02:50:36 AM
Awesome to see spot prices....

Just curious whats holding back from shipping elsewhere, cost or customs paperwork? or Both?

Interested from Canada
136  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Using multiple PSUs - Does anyone actually do it? on: January 27, 2012, 11:46:52 PM
I haven't yet for mining, but had a folding rig running 4x9800gx2's on 2x650w corsair psu's up until 6mo ago. They ran like a charm for nearly 3yrs, their production per watt kinda got obsolete so I swapped it into a dual 5970 mining rig on a single 750w, gotta love the k9a2-platinum, still ticking.

138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone using BTC to buy Silver/Gold on Coinabul? on: January 17, 2012, 12:10:52 AM
Got my order today, shipping not all that bad 10days from Wyoming to Alberta (customs probably had it a few days). The week or so of processing leaves a bit to be desired but it was just after the new-years Holliday. I was a bit worried, but mostly because it was my first purchase of some significant value with BTC.

All in all, a pretty good transaction. I was a bit miffed at some missed emails, but really for almost instant answers check out Coinabul in their IRC channel.
139  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone using BTC to buy Silver/Gold on Coinabul? on: January 08, 2012, 05:43:18 PM
Thought I'd update. My order was placed Jan 1st, and was shipped Jan 6th.
My account dashboard on Coinabul links to the tracking # of my order.

My only quandry is what seems like an issue with getting replies to my gmail account. But the Speed of the service seems quite good.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN booth at CES Las Vegas! Tell all reporters! on: January 06, 2012, 02:59:46 AM
I think the demographic most likely to jump into bitcoin based on reporting from CES would be anyone watching G4, keep your eyes peeled for their "talent" too bad Olivia is gone, she could convince mobs to follow her into hell Smiley Kevin Pereira has a short attention Span.
