I'd be holding my coins till then It is beter to be realistic with our expectation, holding for $1 for this token, you will need a faith that move mountain, projects like ICN, Waves, Wings, Golem etc are well capitalised and strong development team behind the project but all of them are below $1 another thing to consider is the possibility of legal issues to loom over this project in future. The thing is that this project has a very wide potential userbase. Given the scope of the project we can argue that this project will attract a lot of 'non-crypto' people, whereas projects like Waves and Lisk are dependant on just the Crypto community to adapt their tech (initially). This combined with the possibility of an actual revenue stream early on in it's core development... Vidz is business, Crypto is (sadly still) a somewhat narrow community. After some quick searching the amount even medium size sites like this can make is something to look forward to. The POS is like what 5% - 10%? So 10% of 85BTC annually needs to be brought back. 8.5btc buy backs per year to cancel POS 'dilution' needless to say that is close to nothing and also nothing to be even the slightest bit concerned about when taking into account.... A, The potential earnings of said site. B, The above is not taking into account, coins will be burned as well as buy backs which makes the POS even less of a concern not that is was anyway. C, This is going to the moon if they complete their milestones. How much of profits will be used to burn Vidz and buy back Vidz from the market? I advise you read the white paper and do your own due diligence. From what I have read and understand there will be different ways of earning with the site. VIP earnings, memberships purchased via fiat gateways, 60% of them profits will be used to buy back vidz and send them to a burn address. Thank you. What I still don't understand it how the Stratis blockchain is related to the bitcoin blockchain. If I look at another coin, say Monero, just to take an example, there is no relationship at all between the BTC blockchain and the XMR blockchain. But...when it comes to the Stratis blockchain and the Bitcoin blockchain, there is some relationship (even if only one way) ...but what is it? Looking at the sudden fall of BTC after Christmas, with the loss of interest among e-commerce websites and halving, I can assume after several rumours ofc that the price will stay around 800$ and yet fall further. Don't get depressed, we were struggling for BTC to stay above 600$ last year. I am far from depressed, I've made enough coin for it to drop to a low since 2015 and still be in profit. I was however, kinder taking the piss but that went straight over that head of yours. Not surprising. |

How did you get that number. He is correct. 100M will be distributed, not 125M. So investors will get 1 VIDZ for 85 satoshi. You sure he's correct. The coins the dev team will be holding will be dished out for bounties so they will eventually hit the market.  Well, yes. The average price per coin is indeed 68 sat. But investors get it for 85 sat for now. This is the number which matters the most. That's the effect of premine (Dev fund). 20% is not a small number, so it makes some difference. Anyway the scenario with all coins hitting the market is an unlikely one (given the devs are honest). And hopefully the price will rise, so it can accommodate bounties when they hit the market. Now I understand it better. Im not selling any of mine before 1000 sat anyway so 60 some or 80 some is almost negligible. I will sell at 10x and maybe some before. Atleast the dev fund is public so we can all keep an eye on it. Can anyone create an alarm in the horrible case any of the coins move? If they was going to do anything shady they would not have made the project as good for investors as it is. You have the address it would be stupid for them to kill a coin for just pennies in the future scheme of things. |
