Hi peeps... i have some question regarding the hashing boards. I've found the following, comparing with dogie's photoshoot:  In this image, i've seen that the new hashing boards come with additional pins, with a 3-bit address and a plug pin. Is this a sign of a coming device with 8 hashing boards? Can i connect 8 hashing boards to the same controller with different address bases? ... Hi! I saw your old messages about different data connectors of Antminers S5 hashig boards of old and new batches. Can you help me with connecting old hashing board to control board with data cables (16 & 18 Pin connectors)? Is it easy as I think? For example to connect '3v3' connector on hash board to equal connector on CtrlBoard? Thank you! you need a long cable, conect the board to the api board , and you will need a old s5 fimrware i think it is the first whit fan control.. |

So bit of a weird story.
I got an Antminer S5, factory reset it, connected it to a gold 605W PSU and pool and was mining at 350 hz, 1150 GHz and everything was working for around 12 hours at 60 degrees. Before I shut it down I changed the hz to 150 to see if it quieted the fan and shut it down.
I bought a new fan, removed the stock fan and tried to connect the 120mm new fan. The 4 pic connector was slightly different on the back and it wouldn’t fit the plug. I put the stock fan back on and powered up the machine.
Since then the only lights on the miner are 3 green and 1 red on the control board. There are no lights on the blades and I can’t connect to the IP anymore. The 2 lights in the Ethernet cable are on but not the green or red lights on the right of the Ethernet.
I have tried everything to connect, it won’t factory reset and nothing I do changes the power up sequence. The fan turns on and there are just the 1 red light and 3 green lights in a row on the control board. The Ethernet cable is connected and it works on other computers. I can see everything connected to my router but the antminer has disappeared. It seems like it is not powering up at all.
Please help.
you probabbly touched to much the bbb board and killed it, check your your psu, try reset and put original fan,,, |

I officially give up on their ordering process and their countdown clock.  kinda shitty rite, 31 stock but out of stock when adding. Been trying to add 1 miner since release , been lol, could get trought 2x for 3k but nah nah to much. |
