121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you stake your token to make profit? on: May 04, 2019, 08:40:43 AM
Staking is good for those who holds their coins or token, because it will give them some extra coins to get for free by just holding their token this really favors those who don't have the mining rigs to mine PoW coins, I really love POS type coins. This is a slow and sure but not so sure income when you have shitcoin, sure to get free coins but not so sure if worths. For me it is better to trade to make a good profit but its risky.
In this regards, we still have to watch the token we will stake, because not all tokens are gotten free, if we are considering to stake any token which is not a bad idea because of the guaranteed interest we will have on it, we still have to ensure that the token is a good one.

I remember when I first got to know about DASH, which I think were the first to introduce masternode, I got the whole gist from a friend and his explanations was really convincing, but it didn’t end there, I took further step in making sure that my personal research about them was sound and convincing before deciding to stake my investment with them.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market situation on: May 03, 2019, 03:40:52 PM
What are your views on the current state of Crypto currency markets ? How does the future looks like?
Big sigh, the waiting is long but we are still fully hopeful, The bears has really been struggling so hard with the BULLS, but fundamentally, I can see that there are so many institutions that will be making the market bright again and force the bears completely into hiding.

Whatever is happening in the market now would not have really been an issue if not for the damaged that was cause to the market in the last bull run, if that bull run had not come, I am sure that people would have gotten used to this type of slow increase of value, but with the performance I have seen so far this year, I think the future of the crypto market is very bright and promising.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much capital I need to be the House on: May 03, 2019, 12:59:59 PM
I don't have an estimate in mind but I agree that crowdfunding is the way to go. For that to succeed though, you better have something good to offer. If your just like any regular casino, why bother investing when they can just play with their money elsewhere?

Assuming you do get crowdfunded, if there's nothing that sets you apart from other casinos, the established casinos with just beat you, after all they already have userbase.

How about franchising a lottery outlet first? Those earn ALOT. Pool money from friends and once you've already paid them off, you can invest the income into an online casino. I believe the franchise cost around $10k.
Crowdfunding wont really be that effective unless if you are already an established gambling site just like we do saw on Betking ICO it is plausible but for a start up for a gambling site then its impossible to get some investors unless if the gambling site you are proposing do really have something unique or do spark out someones interest to put up some money then you are on luck but most of the time it would really be hard.
I think there are too many issues with crowd funding and I will not even recommend for an upcoming brand. The major challenge is that of trust, convincing investors on how credible you are without prior record can be so difficult and without trust it will be difficult to raise money to meet the target.

Another way is to write a business plan and show it to close rich family members, family would always come through and seeing a good business plan with great potentials, they would definitely give their full support. I read from the comments that starting up a casino house is over 500BTC, it’s a whole lot of money, it would take a lot of efforts to get this kind of money.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 03, 2019, 12:21:00 PM
Many people think that gambling is a way to make quick money, but that's not the case. When i started gambling, i was quite happy, as i won a few round and make some quick money, but as the time passed I just lost all my funds.
I am one of those people who strongly believe gambling as a place to make money. If I am not doing it with the aim of making money, why then am I now playing? I am not disputing the fact that the game is interesting and can as well be entertaining, but the goal of playing is always to make money.

Most of you all that always blame people not to see gambling as an avenue to make money are not always been sincerely to yourselves. You incautiously play for money but you are not aware and that is the reason you feel sad whenever you make loses. If you actually play for fun alone, then you wouldn’t feel bad when you lose.
Keep believing gambling as a place of income and you will come out of your nightmare the day you loose an amount that will take you months to recover from the hurt. Gambling is meant to be an entertainment and if you trace down to the history of gambling you will realize that people who played then did it more for fun.

I am not disputing that you cannot make money from gambling but don’t let your mind see it as a place for money, otherwise you get thorough hurt the day you loose and that mindset can make you commit big money because you want something big in return. Just be wise
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VeChain Price Analysis: Is this the right time to buy VET? on: May 03, 2019, 11:43:27 AM
Vechain is a good project, and a lot of people talk about this project
i'm sure this coin is good for long term investments, maybe now is the right time to buy VET before the bull  Wink
Generally when it comes to altcoins market, the best time for holding them is now, the opportunity has already presented itself through their bottom prices, that is for the already existing projects, I have not read much about the vechain, but if the project is not a new one, then this might really be the best time to purchase some of it.

If the project is a new one, it will be best if one still hold on a little bit before investing to watch its movement because most new altcoins usually pump when they enter exchange, and we may be buying the pump price without knowing, so we should still watch the coin before putting any money into it.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: May 03, 2019, 11:04:36 AM
there are so many investments to choose from. there are also many good coins or tokens currently available. all depends on you looking for it and doing research to be able to get maximum results because of course it takes time to be more detailed.
all depends on expertise and luck. because we also do not know what really happened for the future of the assets we have. we all want market growth in a large scale for all the assets we have, but the reality cannot be like that. each asset has their own market movements.
Selecting these assets to invest in is another work on its own that one deserve to be paid for, something when I check coinmarket cap and I see so many of these projects listed, I wonder where one will really start the research from. If one is to research on them, we will write a full dictionary.

So what I do sometimes is to go under coins, see the top performing ones on the coinmarket to research on, while on the altcoins section, I also use the top ones to decide which assets to invest in. Any project that will deem fit should struggle hard too to stay on top. Bitcoin is still the only asset that one does not need to research on before acquiring it.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB accused of money laundering for terrorist and market manipulation-->DUMP? on: May 03, 2019, 10:24:10 AM
While haters have been increasing daily, this could be really be a problem for the exchange.
Anyway i sold my BNB time ago after  "strange" ICOS/IEOs:

Not a secret that i don't like Binance anymore, but i really expect that Binance wasnt really aware of the source of all cash flow to its ecosystem, so didnt make any money laundering knowing what was beeing done.

the news regarding the accusation:

https://ambcrypto.com/binance-accused-of-money-laundering-for-terror-groups-and-market-manipulation-by-bsv-spearhead-calvin-ayre/

[im g]https://ambcrypto.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/2019/04/terror-attack-349913_960_720-e1556522558221.jpg[/img]
You already said it yourself that you didn't like Binance, and that is why it would be easy to carry such crazy news that does not exist. I really don’t understand why someone will just wake up from the bed and be filled with hatred for people that disserve to be praised for their hard work.

We need to stop creating  or promoting some ideas into people through our words, Terrorist may not have ever thought of the possibility of using cryptocurrency to launder money, but we will be opening their eyes to it through our negative  thinking. Is it only Binance that is the exchange in this world, if they can launder money through Binance, then they can also do it through any other exchanges too.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO transaction on: May 03, 2019, 09:33:54 AM
Last month 8 NEO I sent from my personal account to https://www.bibox.com exchange. But still now not yet complete my transaction. I am too much
worried about this matter. What I will do now? If anybody know reply me. before also i transfer NEO from my personal account to binance account but that
time within 10 minuites  my transaction completed. Thanks.
I don’t just get you, seems you short yourself in the leg, you have already gotten a great exchange which is Binance, why jumping around exchanges again and to speak of it, an exchange that is not popular. Well. You can try your luck by contacting them directly before we judge them.

They might just be that your request did not reflect from their end, it once happened to a local exchange that I used too some months back, that one is to change my crypto into fiat, the quantity of my bitcoin disappeared, so I contacted them and they resolved the issue within 24 hrs. Please I will advise you stick to Binance next time, I think they have all that you need.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DUMP after PUMP! on: May 03, 2019, 09:13:26 AM
Pump and dump always happens on shitcoins then it will die.  If the coin is good pump and dump is only for correction it will not literally dump like there no tomorrow.
It is not only shitcoins that dump and pump do occur, it happen in all other existing coins in the market, but when a price of a project is being manipulated; a good project like Ethereum will always stand string on their feet. This is why I rely so much on ethereum being a utility token.

No matter the dump in price, it takes little time for it to go back high because of its usefulness to its community. When dump occurs for great projects, we should not panic because it has a working product that will lift the price back up in a short time, that is what makes me always invest in safe projects like that of ethereum.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season may be approaching as per Elliot Wave. on: May 03, 2019, 08:42:42 AM
There does appear to be a pattern forming although history doesn't always repeat itself and currently there's a lot of new capital waiting to be invested that is relying on the performance of Bitcoin first and foremost which if it does well and holds above key support then the alternative market will likely spring back to life so if you're optimistic about these indicators it might be an ideal time to look for good value buys but make sure you choose good quality assets
In addition to what you have said , when picking quality assets, I think one need to focus more on the projects that has already been developed to some extent and already showed us that they can move the market. Most of the projects we have now that sounds quality to the heart end up becoming a very weak one when they get money donated to them.

The investors with lot of new capitals are waiting but have not seen any promising project to pour in theses capital into, and since Bitcoin is the most reliable project for now, they would rather put in this capital into bitcoin, so BTC might still be the best bet in making some of these altcoins increase overtime.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The new bitcoin 2022 on: May 03, 2019, 08:03:13 AM
I appreciate your opinion, but I don't think that is possible with new coins that use the ethereum network because the coins that use the ethereum network for their price will follow ethereum, moreover you say you will pass bitcoin in such a short time it feels impossible.
Of course he know this too, he is just promoting the coin so that he can also get paid and get the hell out of the campaign, I  have read the project whitepaper and I have not found anything so new abut their solution other than the ones already moving round the market.

I am glad you also saw that they are running on ethereum smart contract, if I don’t see ethereum getting to such price in the year he predicted for the other coin, I don’t know which force will really push the market cap of the coin that high amidst all these competitions, but the project will still get its own great community which I think might still be worth investing in.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: May 03, 2019, 07:31:05 AM
Gambling held a negative image in front of a lot of people in the world. May it be in real life or crypto casino. It may or may not give you a positive feedback that you are expecting. All thing are good when done moderately and with caution. In gambling, you should always know your limit or when to stop when you already run out of ammo. You should also plan ahead before immersing yourself into it. Gambling is fun not until it consumes you as a whole. You should gamble just for the sake of thrill and fun and not for the sake of winning a lot and taking more than you could really take. You don't want to choke in greediness in the middle of the game right? I, myself, play in a crypto casino. It is fun because I can play inside our house without undergoing the hassle of going out of the house. I can also use bitcoin to my liking. I got bonuses back when I was a newbie up until now. I also got to read some blogs about cryptocurrencies and the likes. I enjoyed playing it up until now because I play moderately and fortunately knows my limit. In playing, you don't have to bet it all as long as you're enjoying to your heart's content.
Honestly we can’t blame those who have a negative perspective of gambling. Gambling has damaged the lives of so many that those who know nothing about the game would just assume that it is destructive. Years before I started gambling, I heard a lot about how terrible the game can be, how it has scattered so many homes and all that.

I am glad I took my time to learn a lot before I started gambling, especially on this forum. I learnt how to play moderately, never to gamble what I cannot afford to lose and reducing the hours I spend on casino games, all this helped me to become a better player and I am confident that I cannot be a victim of addiction.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 03, 2019, 06:47:02 AM
I agree with this, we shouldn't call names here. There are two types of gamblers: those who gamble for entertainment purposes(the vast majority, over 95%) and addicted gamblers that should be rather called sick persons than degenerates. Although the former ones do expect winning some money from their gambling activity, they never risk amounts big enough for ruining their lives, and thus if they lose it is not that painful for them, and they don't chase their losses. In short, most gamblers are not sick, and those who are still shouldn't be called degenerates.

Where do you get those numbers from? I think the percentage of problem gamblers is actually much higher than 5%
Most casinos are actually run in a way that turns people into addicts and they definitely make most of their profits from people who are addicted.

Mind you, this isn't a call to make gambling illegal or anything, I'm just saying that I think the percentage is much higher than 5%
So how did you also get to know that the number of people who suffer addiction is higher than 5% ? I know over 20 friends that are into gambling and not even one of them is an addicted gambler, which means the number of responsible gamblers is higher than the compulsive gamblers.

The few people who are suffering addiction in gambling are either those who have had a traumatic childhood experience or some greedy bettors who would want to do everything possible to make money and before you know it, they find it difficult to control themselves in the game, so  I advise we stop blaming the gambling sites. The fault is actually from players.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: May 02, 2019, 08:03:05 PM
Playing gambling using crypto is much more interesting. this is because when we play gambling with crypto we will get various conveniences, we will also get privacy in playing. Security is very important so I feel very comfortable playing gambling with crypto compared to when playing gambling using FIAT.
Security measure is something no one can afford to compromise at all cost and it’s the major thing to put into consideration especially in gambling. I didn’t like the policy of Fiat requesting for my KYC initially, and the transfers could take long before it is received, but with crypto, I get instant payments and that is really interesting. The life I have spent Gambling with crypto has given me an inexplicable   experience. It is safer for me, faster and more reliable. I truly recommend gambling with cryptocurrency and you will never regret ever doing so..
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest me some gambling site on: May 02, 2019, 07:13:45 PM
Indeed. There are lot of gambling site but you need to be good in choosing because not all them are trusted gambling site. I have been played in different gambling site like Cloudbet, bitsler and primedice and all them are one of the good gambling site. However, I found a new bitcoin casino site which also like them but the good thing in this site is they will give huge bonuses and prizes. They also support cryptocurrency like bitcoin and they have various gaming games like poker, black jack , roulette and slot machines. We have different choices in picking and choosing bitcoin casino but all of us want to choose good and secure bitcoin casino site where can protect our funds that I keep on playing to this bitcoin casino site. Lastly, we also tend to choose gambling or bitcoin casino site that has various bonuses.
I don’t even know how people fall victim of scam gambling site really. I don’t think that can happen with me because I know that I am good with investigation.  These sites you mentioned are not strange to me, I have played countless times on cloud bet, and for prime dice and bitsler, I may not have played on this sites but I have done my research on them already.

You mentioned finding a new casino site but didn’t state the name, please provide the name let me also check it out. I love sites that give good bonuses and accepting cryptocurrency makes me even more interested in such site. I prefer sites hat accept cryptocurrency to every other sites.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: May 02, 2019, 03:45:30 PM
In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the price of bitcoin at this time because the first release of bitcoin prices is very cheap and then in 2016 the price of bitcoin did not reach $ 1000, but most in this forum are those who know bitcoin in 2017 so deeply regret the price of bitcoin slumped far in mid-2018 ago, the possibility of recovering like 2017 was very difficult in my opinion
I agree with you 100% about nothing being wrong with the present price Bitcoin is now. The effect of the abnormal rise of BTC in 2017/2018 is what is really causing most of the issues we are encountering now in the market, it is the main reason behind many people’s impatient because if BTC was rising gradually from the time it was created and taking one step at a time, many people would have completely left their money in the market, and watching as profit climbs on it little by little, and even if there will be a dump, it will not reflect so much on the value. It will be better we sometimes appreciate every value Bitcoin climbs to, it is not easy to really get there.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: May 02, 2019, 02:46:14 PM
I think it can't be considered as bad thing. I mean, those exchanger must not stake their reputation for project that not good and only make investors lose. But actually this hype already influence people, that is why some IEO can be done and sold in a minute only.
The hype was not artificially created, people based their involvement in these IEO project because of the wonderful record the initiator has had over the past few years and their effort to make the crypto space a conducive one for users, which the credit goes to binance, other exchanges coming up with their own hype are just hiding under Binance legacy.

So even in participating in these IEO exchanges, whether they stake their reputation or not, we still have to DYOR in participating, not every IEO we see will succeed, most especially the one done through exchanges that are not reputable.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers running free on: May 02, 2019, 02:02:27 PM
That is a big issue we have to deal with. Imagine if people are not punished for doing wrong, what will even stop them from scamming people. However, if scammers are punished, it will scare others from also scamming others.
How can they be punished when they are not known, the legal system will never permit such act if the identity of the perpetrators where known, but as it stands, they have already taken advantage of the good will of blockchain to create anonymity for themselves which will be very difficult to trace any transaction to them.

The only control method would be for us to just take extra precaution to avoid these bad projects; we should not rush into investing in every project that we come across. When we see a project, the best would be to first study what they have on table and the most important part is to strictly follow up on the team members.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jaguar testing IOTA rewards for drivers on: May 02, 2019, 08:18:31 AM
another good news coming to crypto world especially IOTA
Jaguar Land Rover, Britain’s largest auto manufacturer
The company is developing what it calls “smart wallet” technology to be installed in its automobiles. This would reward Jaguar car drivers with IOTA coins for actions such as enabling their vehicles to automatically report useful data, such as traffic congestion or potholes to navigation providers or local authorities.

source : https://www.reuters.com/article/us-crypto-currencies-jaguar/jaguar-land-rover-planning-to-allow-helpful-car-drivers-to-earn-cryptocurrency-idUSKCN1S40UD

and today the price of IOTA growing more than 10%
congrats for IOTA believer  Wink
regards
Wow, so many places where I didn’t think that blockchain technology would bring solution to is what I am seeing great developers use it for, cryptocurrency is virtually getting to every corner of the world and another 5 years more of adoption will really bring about the mass adoption we have been hoping for.

So many projects are being developed this year already and it is a sign that the crypto market will in no time becomes very huge in its marketcap, I see the marketcap of cryptocurrency in the next 5 years going close to that of gold as many attentions are presently being diverted to cryptocurrency in its usage form and its investment form.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: May 02, 2019, 07:45:47 AM
It seem like Bitcoin has entered an uptrend, since begin February 2019. It is most probably entering a new big bull cycle that will last for months, most probably for longer than one, one-and-a-half year.

I read articles on tradingview of how the Bitcoin price is going to collapse. Well, this has already happened. We are in an uptrend now.

I'm not sure why some people are insisting one publishing one pessimistic article after the other. My guess is that they missed their chance to buy low, before April, and now they are trying to influence their readers to how it suits their portfolio.

My feeling is that Bitcoin is going steadily up, at least for the time being.

What do you think?
Prior to April 1st, most of them strongly believed that bitcoin will fall back low to $3000, they were really shocked to see the price of BTC spike to that price that became too much for them to purchase, so they would rather create FUD to cause dump.

Recently now, I have been hearing that BTC will dump to $4500, they are not buying at this price waiting for $45000, this is how they will miss their chance on this price now till BTC rises to $6000, and it does, we start seeing another FUD news in the market to dump it to $5000, and the cycle keeps going like this till they completely miss out of the next ATH again.
