.... got already 11 connections in less then 5 minutes......
Lucky man.
What ever I do, where ever I try it ( variuos PC's , setups , IP's, ISP's ) - never get more then 8 connections.
Like some kind of perdition....

Did you try adding the line of code in your shortcut?
If your are asking about  -maxconnections=64  - YES

That could be just because we generally link to articles etc. on social media.
So someone discovers XC, reads the article, and clicks on a link in the article to the website.
I would think such links contribute to the second green column, "referrals".
Not to "direct"

http://www.similarweb.com/website/xc-official.com#overview
Interesting to see 45% of traffic coming from US.
Top referring site: Coinmarketcap.
Top destination site: XC official forum
Social: 74% access from Twitter

These stats clearly show what can be improved on the web site.
50+% from direct access? While rather tiny social, search?  hmm....

Left my 1001 XC (4x 250) mixer overnight. Latest version.
This must be my first mixing:

But I'm still confused. All I got is a -0.00001 fee. No gains...

A stream of questions keep comin'
1. Am I doing something wrong here?
2. Is all going as it should, or...still some bugs, malfunctions in this module?
3. What are ultimate expected gains from mixing? Are there enough incentives in doing this?

1000XC Xnode minting would gain me 33 new XC's in a year, right? or an average +0.09 XC a day, right?
Can i expect to gain more, if left those 1000XC in XMixer mode?  How much more?   Even very approximately.

If the potential in mixing mode is clearly more then 3.3% /yr, I would be willing to break my whole bag into numerous 1000XC part, put a multiple Xmixers on a various PC, various IP's etc, what ever is need. But ... do i get enough reasons to do this?

....... just keep them above 201 XC's
Dan

Keep above 200 ?  Why this would be preferred?
I must be missing something

I believe this is the correct way to add that "C:\Program Files (x86)\XCurrency\XCurrency-qt.exe" -distmix-autonode . If not can someone please correct this.

Well, I did that. Wallet started. No errors yet....but...
how i can verify mixing is working?
can i monitor somewhere?  see transactions, or smth?
Any  debug mode or command?   Or just wait some time ( how long?) , and I will see something indicating that it is working OK?

Can someone post instructions on starting a xnode mixer? I am a new owner of the required amount of XC to be able to run an xnode. If the instructions are available please point me in that direction.

I need more info on xnode mixer's too. Could not really find clearly stated these moments:
- what are the beneftis on running Xmixer? Is it more profitable  then just a plain staking?
- if i run my wallet as Xmixer, will it keep staking  (minting) the coins the same way as I have it now?

If someone well informed can give me Xchat call,  and explain those (and other) things - I will mostly appreciate this

People don't hack into your computer just randomly, you must first have something they want and even then it is nearly impossible with a good virus scanner.
You are too paranoid indeed.

You know...honestly ... i don't agree at tall.
To my strong believe, it's never "to much security".
Even most of my valuables being "on paper", & those small bits online are well protected by  at least ~60 character BIP38 or alike, the simple facts that I'm on bitcointalk since mid 2012 (and on numerous other forums too), running several crypto-coin  minded web & facebook pages , etc - is more then enough incentives to think, that there are some "easy money" on my PC.
When, finally,  nothing is gained, they (hackers)  may just run some crypto-locker on my HDD. Or smth...
QNAP & Synology RAID diskstations are sure nice things for automatic backups, (got 4 of them), but....why on earth should I want that hassle of "restoring"?

So... XChat has built  maybe ~80% of my current trust in XC bright future
(one day)
Every single human on earth use money (currency). And ...every one on them will realize they need (one day) a true privacy in communication
Is't great to get em both at the same time? At no extra cost.

...Why did you blur you icons though?
well...guess it.  Probably I'm to paranoid

But.... I head a super good teacher once, who kept repeating forever ...."trust no one"...
"ban & block EVERYTHING" by default (ports, IP's,  MACs, subnets, shared spaces ...) and open them only WHEN you really need em, ...one-by-one.
There is no circumstances to be ...to much paranoid. Right?
Dont you agree?

What is a coinjoin killer? I never heard of it.

Retweeted. To all my 626 folowers. Even i still don't know what coinjoin is,  either

626 as in san gabriel valley???

You mean 626 as in san gabriel china town ?

San Gabriel? I wish I would know what are you talking here about... Smiley
626 is (was) the number of followers I've got on twitter, which since went up to 629,  as of this morning

Just got some fun reading:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775174.0
Geeee... 26 pages in less then one day.   Wow!

Made me dreaming a bit....
What if Satoshi ( the REAL Satoshi Nakamoto) if following closely all the crypto wold coin developments....and understands nicely the short cums of Bitcoin....and yet can not DO anything about it....and explores all the latest anon coins...with  much much better privacy, anonymity...and decides that it is TIME now....to use all his saved BTC's  (millions ?) to give some power.... & change the "status quo"..... shift the human civilization to a much  much better, superior coin (you choose - which exactly)..
And why not? Would you expect Satoshi to dump his BTC's ever back to FIAT?    Really?

What IF all this (above) happens one day Huh?   Is this totally unrealistic?  A nonsense?
Let me hear your thoughts... Smiley

The fact they called Theymos "Michael" hints to me that they are either active in the community or have access to previous emails.

Im sure its not hard to find his first name....
It is , & really easy.
Took me less then 1 hour to find Theymos real name, when i got my forum account compromised.

ps. have you made a new adres aside from your coin receiving adres?

I have noted many forum members here have 2 adresses in their signature, one for XChat, and one more for "receiving coins"
Any specific reason to do this?

As I  understand, it can  be even ONE, single addrres in the wallet, which can easy be used for both, keeping coins, and doing XChat
Am I missing something?
If someone wants to drop me some coins to my public XChat address - is there something wrong abt this?
