121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 17, 2018, 05:01:56 AM
The match between Mumbai Indians and Kings eleven punjab is looking very very interesting right now...60 runs needed in the last 30 balls..and punjab has only lost 1 wicket so far...anything can happen right now but i am backing punjab to win

Punjab had a very good chance to progress in to the play-offs, but they wasted the opportunity. For the past 3-4 matches, their form has been horrible. At this point, I was 90% sure that KXIP was going to win. Yet, they lost the match as a result of reckless shot selection.
Yes punjab lose 4 matches back to back i think and that pushed them back...if the first half of the tournament they were doing very well and looked that they could easily reached playoffs...but no one performed in their team leaving rahul..
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: May 07, 2018, 06:43:12 PM
Nothing lasts forever in this world. The theme of the bounty was already too much satiated with the participants. It seems to me that over time the conditions for participation in bounty companies will change (this is already happening).
Yes i agree and its really very sad...i think with so many ico going around there is still a lot of opportunity just some good management is required and limitation is seriously required specially in social media campaigns
On the social networks Bounty companies always allocate a small percentage of the total pool, so the number of participants always affects the amount of money earned.
Ya the allocation is less there and the number of participants are largest in social media campaigns because a user can participate in many social media campaigns at the same time...limiting the number of participants is necessary otherwise it has become totally useless these days
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 07, 2018, 06:41:19 PM
Yes i use mew still and i trust it...just we need to be careful ourselves to protect out assets....i have bookmarked the mew site so that i do not enter my private key in any fake website..i never got any problems using mew and i hope the same in future as well Smiley
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 07, 2018, 06:39:26 PM
I love playing card games but the my most favorite card game is poker because it gives more thrill than other card games and it has its own strategy to win like bluffing other players to fold their cards. Another reason why i love poker is because i always feel lucky when i play it.

Absolutely agree, poker isn't totally based on luck and so as a player i always stand a chance to win against the edge if i make the right moves. Sports betting is another of my favorite gambling games especially on tennis, basketball and soccer where like poker i get to make the decisions on my own and with a little luck i win.
Poker is mine best as well if you say in card games...but i also love to play roulette a lot because its interesting and provide various options to bet on in a single game...after that i like dice as well, simple and fast

126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Today $150 loss from storm coin in binance , now what i will do? please help on: May 06, 2018, 01:08:20 PM
If you have made profit in binance then you must accept that the coin may go down as well after you buy...even the most experienced ones are not always in profit..its part of the trading..As of storm it can go up again...you must decide if you can hold it or sell it for some loss
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 06, 2018, 01:04:46 PM
Delhi Daredevils managed to score 163 runs, which is not a very high score in the IPL. Delhi also do not have the best bowling line up. Sunrisers Hyderabad look set to score these runs easily. Hales scored a quickfire 45 at the top of the innings and that is the job half done.
Delhi emerged as good in last few matches but now its all end for them because they are already out of this competition but still they done good job in today match
Yes Delhi Daredevils are out of here...their hopes ended for this tournament but mumbai indians are still pretty much alive in this tournament..they need to win every game and they are doing so..happy for rohit sharma and mumbai indians
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: May 06, 2018, 01:00:55 PM
Mumbai Indians have made a good total of above 180 and i will back them to win todays match as well...Mumbai have got a well balanced bowling attack as well so i think they will be able to defend that specially Bumrah back in form in the last match

131  Local / Marketplace (India) / For Sale BFL Jalapeno on: June 26, 2014, 02:16:48 PM
Hello Everyone.

I had purchased a 5gh miner last year, from BFL.
I feel that it is no longer profitable for me. It is up for sale to anyone in Mumbai, for cash only.
It is in perfect working condition, and i have not messed around with the firmware, so it is still upgradeable to 8gh, if you are motivated enough.
Transaction through personal meetup in mumbai only.

134  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: August 12, 2013, 11:57:12 PM
you may end up with better profit buy selling it now. assuming netwrok hash rate grow and difficulty. in 2 weeks from now and you will be mining 0.5 btc per month and no body will buy it from you at that point.

Cant agree more with Pinwheel. Frankly speaking you will make much better profit if you will sell it now. You can simply convert that FIAT to BTC and can enjoy much more returns Smiley

Cheers

I am not interested in selling it just yet. Not at all in fact.
17th august will be exactly 1 month since i started mining (ignoring the downtime ). By then i should have mined 1.5 - 1.6 btc ( ~ 150 - 160 $ ). That covers the cost of the unit, excluding the customs duty ( i paid 149 USD back in september 2012).

135  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: August 12, 2013, 03:12:26 AM
I think i am gonna let it run as it is, till i recover its cost

Will that ever happen? Grin
As of today, I have mined 1.3 BTC. In less than a month.
assuming i can mine another 0.2 btc in the next 4 days ( usually takes a little over 2 days ), that would make it 1.5 btc ~ 140 to 150 usd.

the box cost me a total of 300 USD ( including customs duty ).
I guess another month and a half of mining should recover the costs, assuming btc value doesn't drop.
136  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: August 12, 2013, 03:08:23 AM

Any reason for the downtime?

I was in Goa!!! Grin Grin Grin
Couldn't leave without supervision, had to shut down..

137  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: August 09, 2013, 07:38:03 AM
practically, my daily reward is in the range of 0.06 to 0.08

I have so far mined 0.86 btc since july 17th, but i had about 10 -11 days downtime during that period.

138  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: July 17, 2013, 05:00:35 AM
.....

Congrats bud.

So now you know BFL single is more precious than baby Smiley But finally you got your precious, Golum will not be happy now Tongue

Cheers
You are absolutely right. This is currently my most prized possession.
It is worth to me more than the Rs 17000 + it cost me.

BTW, I had to pay customs duty of about 75$ on top of 149$ for the device and about 35$ for shipping.

around 270$ in total.
expect to pay hefty duty for the more expensive products....

Grats St Lucifer

thanks benson.

I have done some quick calculations.. It seems if i keep mining 24/7, i can pay my rent with the income.

139  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: July 17, 2013, 03:02:20 AM
I think i am gonna let it run as it is, till i recover its cost, before trying firmware upgrades...

Cheesy

I have waited way too long......

Hello boys and girls.

I finally picked up my BFL Jalapeno from the post office yesterday.
Got it to work after struggling for about an hour.

It is currently mining at around 5 Gh/sec

The order was placed in the second week of September 2012, and the product arrived on 15th June.

That's 9 months. I could have had a baby by now!!!!

here's a screenshot.
