Warriors can't get Giannis, but one thing that is "just a bit" possible is to get Giannis to play with Doncic. That is going to be tough, and the playbook has to be quite solid because Doncic could be a shooter but he is not a lights out shooter, and he likes to drive inside, with Giannis liking the ball so much, Doncic liking the ball so much and potentially if they still have Irving then him liking the ball so much, you will have a team that is consisting of stars that want the ball in their hands.

Warriors would have been a better fit, but unfortunately that is not going to happen and that is why I think it should be important to remember that Giannis has to go to a team that is filled with shooters, even if not Warriors.

The Warriors can make it happen if ever Giannis will insist that he will only seek shelter in the Warriors roof but if no team will be named, I bet almost all of the teams in the league will submit their requests to so that they can land Giannis in their roster because that is already a chance. Knowing Giannis, he's the kind of player who doesn't care which team he plays, he just wanted to be surrounded with some players who also want to win because that is also what he said recently about his situation in the Bucks.

Yeah Warriors was known to always exceed with their cap and willing to risk more money and pay if ever that Giannis will be available, they can take that risk for the sake of another title.

I can say that if that kind of mega trade will happen, its something that might bring more titles to this
franchise, with splash bros still have that great connections, adding Giannis will surely bring big impact,
knowing how good Giannis and how dedicated he is in terms of wanting to win another title.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: August 29, 2023, 10:50:56 PM
Many individuals with gambling addictions harbor an optimistic bias that "the next bet will be the one." It's heart-wrenching to witness gambling overshadowing all other aspects of their lives. I've personally seen friends sacrifice jobs and relationships because of this addiction. Yet, I've also observed people who gamble casually and genuinely enjoy the experience. Ultimately, gambling serves as a profound test of self-control.

Yes, that's what is called a gambling addict, they are always optimistic to always win and win, and if it's out of control, that person tries to sell what he has now, even his job is at stake here, and that's very ridiculous for people who don't fall into the category of gambling addicts . If he doesn't realize it soon, one day he will regret for sacrificing what he has. And I agree with you that what we really do is play gambling in a relaxed and not excessive way so that we can enjoy the process where later the victory will be on our side.

Realization happens when worse already come out, that's mostly what is happening with gambling addicted person.

When they already lose a lot, not just money but everything including their love ones, that's the start
of making things to assess. If the person is willing to admit, then there's a good chance that it can change
up, while if there's no willingness expect to see more regrets, even they already know that they already
losing or already out of control.

For sure Seth Curry once played in the Golden State Warriors you can say he is no average player indeed, even though he is not an all star caliber he is something that can surely be a mini Stephen Curry, for sure with Giannis Antetokounmpo the team of the Milwaukee Bucks will be a different threat and for sure Seth Curry is still a blooming player with the age of 33 years old he is on the middle of his prime and likely still improving, so for sure this will be a Shining hope for the Milwaukee Bucks,

Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for Seth Curry, as he has always been in his brother's shadow. In his entire NBA career, he has changed 8 teams, and it seems he can't find the team that can bring him to his full potential. By the way, if you check his stats, you may notice that his prime was in the 21/22 season when he averaged 15 points per game. Unfortunately, his playing time was significantly reduced after the trade to the Nets, and he started to perform worse.
I would only feel sorry for him if he's actually as great as Steph and still get the playing time or recognition he deserves. They're not equally talented so someone will be on the shadows. One is a decent role player who probably reached his peak already while the other is a consistent game changer.

That is their reality and they can't do nothing about it as they already know that they cannot have it both ways unless both of them are really talented and skillful enough to become incomparable but we know that there are some cases where siblings have dominated a sports or some other fields but that's not very common and for the Curry brothers, they are just a regular siblings who only have one dominant player and the other one is just playing decent.

Yup, both players have their own talents  but they are being separated  by the impact that they are bringing to their team.

I agree that steph is far different from Seth as we all witnessing how they both performing, though Seth is trying but the success Steph already gained was already too far, Steph already being qualified  as one of those decent  superstar  who played the game.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 28, 2023, 09:58:27 AM

Both scenario are possible because CP3 is somehow versatile and will be okay with what Kerr gives him but as a star player who is always on the starting line up, Chris Paul is not really fit to command the second unit nor come off from the bench as he will surely have some struggles adjusting into that position. I'd like to think that it's the first scenario where Kerr will try and experiment Curry and CP3 together to in the starting five. Klay can come off the bench if the other way around, as I said, I think it would be an experimental start for the team to test out which is good.

Considering that as they will form it from those practices that they will take and see if there's a good connection when it comes to set up the plays and anticipate the offense of their opponents,

They needed to predict if how they will react or if they will continue the principle of offense will
serves as their defense, meaning to say that they will keep countering the offensive side and
try to dominate to cover the possible lapses with their defense.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 28, 2023, 07:37:06 AM
I can see Tapales trying to set up counterhooks every time Inoue goes offensive. I have this feeling that a perfectly timed hook by Tapales is enough to hurt the Japanese champion and change the pace of the fight.

Did Fulton employ the same strategy? But look at what happened – he struggled to time Inoue's speed and was eventually overwhelmed, resulting in a knockout defeat. I don't foresee a significant difference with Tapales. On paper, Fulton appears to be the superior fighter compared to Tapales, but just like the Fulton fight, Inoue's victory seemed effortless. It's likely this upcoming fight won't be any different.

Fulton doesn't have hooks in his arsenal, at least that's how I see the fight between him and Inoue. He just want to counter with straight or uses his jab which could be wrong for a Inoue style because Inoue has the fastest hand between the two.

As for the strategy of Tapales who knows, in the first Inoue vs Donaire fight, Nonito enjoyed a advantage with his left hook, he even broke that orbital bone of Naoya. So if by chance and by surprise, Tapales has that kind of hook, whether left or right hand and has the timing of reading Inoue coming in, we might see some surprised here.

The problem lies on how fast can Tapales connects the hook and how durable Tapales is in receiving Inoue's strong punches.  We all know that in both strong punches with the same level of power, the one that is more devastating is the first one that connected since the first connection can disrupt the power of the opponent's punches.  Even though Tapales can counterhook,  he should have the durability to withstand the devastating power of Inoue.  We see this hooks, or counter hooks getting wasted when Donaire met Inoue the second time because Donaire is unable to do his antiques since he got KO'ed in early round.

Inoue already learn about how Donaire will try to counter his attacks and with the speed advantage that he got with the older champ
he knows that it's his big edge.

With Tapales which are also still in his prime, there might be a chance to have that lucky counter and solid combinations
we don't know how preparations and luck will help Tapales in this possible upcoming fight.

More on pride and the price pot that Tapales will earn after this fight. Maybe he will surprise the fans.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 28, 2023, 07:28:09 AM
Or better yet, increase your means of income so you will never struggle if ever you have cross the limits in your budget.

That was exactly my point. I believe, a focus on increasing sources of income could really make a difference in someone's life, compared to just provision of basic needs. Because it motivates to change conditions for the better ones. While exceptional ensuring basic needs keeps you in the same place you were before without any movements ahead.

Indeed, if you increase your source of income probably, you will make a big difference with your financial stability, though with over expenses that will hurt your finances.

If you keep spending money, even you earn more, then it will just burn all this money and will be a waste
and nothing will change at all, increase your financial source while also increase your expenses nothing
helps right?
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Were Banks and Governments behind this Dump? on: August 28, 2023, 06:58:35 AM
I don’t think so to be honest. We always look for justification & a reason why the price goes down but most of the time it’s just organic price movements in a free market. Unless it’s major FUD or a black swan event i don’t think we need to pin a dump on any particular reason. We will go up again soon, no need to panic or over analyse short term price volatility.

Risky but favorable if the timing is right, and I agree most of the time traders are looking for a reason and from there they will
place their insight and position their investment.

Looking for the reason and for possible to blame is something that's normal in terms of analysing,
it's been used to anticipate what might be the possible turn around and how it will benefit your
investment once you already decide where to place your targets.

When it comes to saving, many people save money by reducing rations or reducing adequate food intake. They do this to save money, but what happens is it weakens our immune system and makes us more susceptible to disease. which in the end they spend their savings to go to the hospital.

Saving is important, but don't let it affect your health. If we want to save money, we must not depend on just one job. In the sense that we have to open a new business or look for side jobs such as trading and others, so that we have additional income to save.
That is a mistake in interpreting saving and ignoring the need for food as a fulfillment of life will be much worse because we will be faced with disease problems and when someone places savings in an inappropriate amount then what will happen will only be more problem. To increase savings, what we have to do is seek more income by working in several places or building a small business according to ability and from here we can make a portion of savings that is much more stable and continues to improve.

Ignoring health for reasons of saving is a bad decision and I don't think this is the right decision. Health will be far more important than money and the better health we have, the more productive we will be in making money. How is it possible for people to save if their health is compromised and where can they get the money from.
You both are right. Health is wealth as well, that’s why it should always come in priority. While saving is a positive habit, but you should only save when you are capable to save, and not putting other things in compromised just to make it happen. Furthermore, the only way to save more is to increase your income. Do not settle in just one job. Add some side hustles that fit your skills. If not, develop your skills so you can be fit to your chosen side jobs.

That's the best thing, developed additional skills and find side hustle that can give you decent amount of profits to add to your finances, with such kind of addition you'll be able to save more.

Just like what you said, don't compromised your health as it's important to address concerns about
your mental and physical capabilities, with all being set and done you'll be able to established good
financial stand avoid any problem in the future.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 27, 2023, 09:59:46 AM
The majority of those which win the lottery immediately think about spending that money and they never even consider investing part of it, which is a huge mistake as someone that invested half of that money in bitcoin will probably experiment greater profits than their lottery win if they were willing to hold those coins for a few years, and in a way this demonstrates how saving and becoming a good investor is a superior choice than simply relying on your luck, as a good investor given enough savings and enough time should be able to produce more money than that.
we cannot fight the bettor habit and it has become a bad habit of gamblers who cannot think in the long term or only think instantly to get money in an easy and fast way. because every bettor or gambler who only spends winning money on something that is not important they have the mindset that they will get another win after that without thinking about how this winning money can be more with a slightly smaller risk such as investing the winning money to buy BTC and hold on to it for a few years to gain old age or long term benefits. maybe professional gamblers can have thoughts like this but for ordinary gamblers it seems like it will be very difficult because as we all know today many gamblers think gambling is an income. so no long term thinking.

Precisely, gamblers who experienced an easy win think that they will continue to have that luck or inside their mindset they think that they have that mastery that will allow them to keep on winning,

Maybe there are some who can think wisely and, after winning a decent amount, they will take time to
use that winning money into investment, long-term wise it will give them decent benefits. Depending
from how each individual thinks ahead and treats the winnings and convert it to investment.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 27, 2023, 09:41:46 AM

Secondly, CP3 is still not a smart choice if you ask me, you should not get him as a second unit leader, he was a great player all up until this season and suddenly this season he will be a bench player? You have Curry there, you can't make them both play together all that frequently, so what's going to happen? It is going to be a tough deal and lets see what happens but I think both CP3 and Blake Griffin situation is a weird one and should not be considered good additions.

I think he will be in the second unit for the Warriors, maybe coming off the bench to give relieved to Curry. Maybe they can play both at the same time. But for Griffin, it's not going to be good for him, it's a far stretch if he will be given like 10 minutes to play every game by Steve Kerr.

Maybe Coach Steve Kerr has a plan. CP3 is a top 10 PG in my book, and Curry can't handle point duties all the time due to potential fatigue. Given Curry's skill at off-ball movement, he becomes an excellent target for CP3, who can consistently find opportunities for him to shoot.

I'm unclear about him being relegated to the 2nd unit, as he's a bona fide star player; he might contribute more as a starter, considering his abilities.

Anyway, let's find out together once the season starts.

He can still play as starter depends on how coach Kerr will design the play. I think Klay can give that spot and bring both Curry and CP3 to the starting unit.

Or maybe they have a good plan of placing CP3 in the second squad to bring good command while
Curry is resting, we don't know what's the plan is but for sure they already building and developing
chemistries to make sure that they are well prepared when the upcoming season starts.

Minnesota Lynx (4.20) VS New York Liberty (1.22)

The game is now starting at the Target Center home for the Minnesota Lynx, right now Natalie Achonwa has a personal problem Lindsay Allen has a hand injury and both players can not play for the Minnesota Lynx while Marine Johannes has a foot injury and can not play for the New York Liberty, for this game we all know that the New York Liberty is dominant in the East and they are 1st place in the standing on the Eastern Conference, so there is no doubt that the New York Liberty will be winning this,

Liberty got that liberty to overpower Lynx 35 points deficit nothing Lynx can do against Stewart 38points in just 27 mins minutes, really an outstanding scoring machine.

We all know that there's nothing Lynx can do when Liberty is playing at their best. Good pick
for those who take the ML and for sure those who also take the handicap before the game
earned decently after this game! Congrats!

It's likely this upcoming fight won't be any different.

It was all good when the plans are still on the paper but when it's time for them to execute it in real time, that's where the difficulties begin because it is actually not that simple specially if you have an opponent named Naoya Inoue who's power is as good as his speed. A counter hook would be a great tool to help these boxers against a much stronger opponent but the thing is, can they land it successfully if their opponent is so slick? At the end of the day, Marlon Tapales might have thought of that but he wasn't the first one to do that either and up to now, nobody was able to pull that one successfully.

Same with what Donaire from the last fight against Inoue, he did try to counter that, but he ended up kissing the floor, with Inoue's
speed, it's difficult to counter him.

Maybe Tapales chance is slim but who knows there's always a lucky punch or a combination that may
bring Inoue down, all Tapales needs is to keep on scouting Inoue's strategy. Keep watching tapes and try
to work out with his speed and with his solid punches.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 26, 2023, 04:19:06 AM
Difficult economic conditions certainly have a direct impact on investment performance including bitcoin, when economic conditions are difficult then people will choose a more profitable type of investment even with a small profit margin, government bonds and stocks are usually preferred over other types of investment and risky cryptocurrencies high is of course an alternative.

It impacted everything, as money movements are really difficult to flow.

More on how you project the potentials as even government bond or stocks are also affected and with that situation crypto
or Bitcoin is not exempted, though there're chances that a whale might play and use the venue to make money and play with
the current situation, we never know what capabilities they've got to play with the market.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: August 26, 2023, 01:48:56 AM
And just as I thought one of the competitive games will be the Connecticut Sun against the New York Liberty.
The Sun started pretty well and even tried to go far in the 2nd quarter against the Liberty with a 14-point lead. 3rd quarter is where the Liberty is starting to heat things up but it's not yet enough to get close to the lead that was protected by the Sun.
4the quarter is where the fun began. DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas are not letting the Liberty get close by a single digit but Sabrina Ionescu kept on attacking and then some free throws got Liberty back in the game for overtime.
And that's when the trio of Liberty, Stewy, Jones, and Ionescu summoned all their strength to win the game. That was one of the most intense games that I have seen in this season. Both teams are not giving up and they both want to win badly.

Connecticut Sun
Thomas - 22 points and 12 assists
Bonner - 30 monster points and 12 rebounds

New York Liberty
Jones - 21 points and 14 rebounds
Stewart - 24 points and 12 rebounds
Ionescu - 18 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds

That game got intense in the dying seconds in the regulation and just as i thought that i would lose my bet but thanks to that crucial error by the Sun and a foul by Rebecca Allen that sent the Liberty in the free throw that sent the game into overtime and save my day hehe. Not much knowledge in the WNBA but just tailing some of your bets here.

What a luck for you, that error sends the game to OT and Liberty, manages to change the tempo and snatch the game against
the Suns, almost a win for the opposite team,

Tailing someone here might give you some hints or guide to base your pick and for sure time will come
that you will also share yours as the league also gains your interest once you start watching and analyzing
the games.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 25, 2023, 10:20:45 AM
Yes, copy trading may be effective in seeking for profits but only for those who are willing to take the risk and know exactly those risks involved. However, for beginners in trading, I cannot guarantee that they can manage properly the risk in copy trading, especially that they have less experience as traders and are not completely aware on how to make money in trading, most particularly on how copy trading works and become profitable. But I must say copy trading is a great way to make money, it’s just that the risks involved are not applicable for beginners.
Not every time copy trading works well, especially for newbies. I think a newbie needs to use the strategy that is suitable for them, not following the popular trading strategy. Although the newbies can take the risks, but the copy trading may not work well if the newbies only follow it without good understanding of the trading strategy.

Indeed. No guarantee that copy trading will be suitable for newbies, even it may be not suitable for experienced traders as well. For me, the best way to trade is by using our own way, using the trading strategy that is proven to be effective with our trading nature. IMHO, copy trading isn't only about the risks but it is about how well it suits our trading style.

Most of the newbies doesn't care about strategy because their main intention is to gain money. Maybe realization that they need to learn will came late when all things fall apart and the person where they copy their trades gone. Newbies should realize that there's no easy life on trading and they need to spend lots of time researching since if they base their trades to other people well they cannot learn something and remain a newbie in the industry.

Most and they will only realize that knowledge is very important once they already suffer from big losses, just like what you mentioned after seeing that they lost the one that they just copy.

Sooner or later, if the person really wanted to succeed, they need to work it out and try learning
the right process and not just blindly follow whatever they think will be good for them in terms of the business or investment that they've taken.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 25, 2023, 10:09:31 AM
New York Times is reporting a quote from Giannis Antetokounmpo where he alludes to signing with a new team for the first time ever. Definitely trouble for the Bucks. He’s going to play for them this year, but to me it sounds like he’s preparing them for a departure after the season. If he goes to the Warriors and pairs with Curry, it will be the greatest team ever built.

I don't see why he would be leaving the Bucks.  I mean maybe there's internal struggles we haven't heard about, or perhaps things I simply haven't heard about, but lets say he does..greatest team ever? I think that's a bit of a stretch.  Curry is getting old, and although he's still the greatest shooter ever, he's getting old.  Klay isn't the same player he use to be either.

I guess he's still sour with what happened to them from the last 2 playoffs after they won in 2021, after that, the Bucks are going down the slope, and they got upset with the Miami Heat. Giannis reacts too early as he became impatient. He even said that he won't be staying in a team for 20 years and not winning another championship again. So, this is going to be the final chance for Milwaukee in keeping Giannis. Well, it's either they'll give up with him or consistently provide and surround him with good role players.
Giannis is about to take the same path as KD, the only difference is Giannis won 1 with the same team who drafted him, while KD got beaten once and then totally gave up LOL.

Maybe yes, he wanted to put some pressure on the franchise to add some more role players to make the team more competitive.
After that humiliating loss against the Heat.

The rumors might be something that needs to address as early as this season or else Bucks may lose
their main alpha. More on how the management will take care of this rumor and how they'll going
to deal with Giannis.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 24, 2023, 04:35:10 PM
They may try load management just like what the Clippers is doing with Kawhi, but again there's no escaping injuries once it hit you.
New Orleans fans are getting restless, he needs to be better this season.
The best thing to do if they want to limit the possibility of Zion getting injured again is to take that load management thing. If the Raptors were successful with the load management they applied to Leonard, I see no reason why the Pelicans wouldn't be able to do the same. The good thing about the Pelicans is that even without Zion, they can still make the playoffs. This is a relief, as they can choose to let Zion focus on the playoffs.

However, fans might not like this load management approach, as they come to see their favorite players on the court. Zion is the team's best player, so it might disappoint some fans. Nevertheless, business is business, and the team needs to focus on what's best for the overall team.

If I'm the one to take it, I will go with load management, but injury is something that uncontrollable, and with the way Zion plays the game, there are always chances that he might get into trouble.

His weight really affecting his movements, with his powerful attempts to make a basket always accompanied by
the chance that he may land wrongly and got injured.

Without him controlling his physical health, he's always prone to injury that may really affect him and the whole
squad.

138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 24, 2023, 04:12:54 PM

Crying towards the public will not help them and certainly it will just be an embarrassment of Sean Gibbons of the MP because he is showing his vulnerabilities in the public. What they should do is take a stand to what they can only agree because it's a no secret anymore that Bob Arum will always try and take advantage of anything as long as it can benefit him good specially in this case that they know their cash cow is definitely attracting the right audiences.

Knowing Arum, yeah, Gibson should stay on what he's demanding and not to let Arum to control everything, like what you mentioned
he will try everything to make sure that he's on the upper hands in terms of profits.

Tapales camp should stay with their grounds and continue to chase for that share that they think they deserve
if the fight takes place.

He's also a champ and the belts that he's holding are what Inoue's seeking, so better to push for what he wants
before signing the deal.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: August 24, 2023, 03:50:25 PM
This industry will keep on growing and there won't be an end to it. Lately after Apple's announcement of VR headset I feel a new wave of online VR casinos would be coming up. As we known gambling industry does have a reputation of quickly adopting new and emerging technologies. I am hoping they would quickly adapt to this emerging tech in order to enhance user experience. That being said we would see a decline in customer base of physical casino after the launch. It does make sense as to why would anyone visit a physical casino wherein you can experience it at your home. AI would play a crucial part in making VR more interactive and secure in the coming years. It is just the beginning of online gambling, it is going to grow by ten folds in the future.
Yeah right, with that kind of emerging technology casino base experienced can be feel using that kind of devices, it will surely affect the offshore businesses as for sure online gamer will take that advantage.

We might see more new technology and like what you said, gambling industry will continue to
progress and more adoptions will take place. It will ride with how the technology will offer and
always find ways to take the edge.
Technology improving definitely has a big positive effect on gambling for the long term without a doubt. I understand that not a lot of people could have that kind of approach to it, but they should because it definitely helps a lot of people to do better on the long run as well. I get that it is not going to be that easy but as long as you keep doing it, there is nothing wrong with it.

Tech improving means that gambling will get a lot more wider to everyone. Even the simplest thing we do not consider as a big deal has bigger impact than we think, all because we think it's natural. The fact that you can gamble on your mobile phone is such a big deal, but we consider it normal, it is not normal and that invention has made it insanely more popular.

Yeah, that kind of invention that brings gambling closer to everyone. I mean, those who wanted to play can quickly process it
by means of any devices that can open the Internet or connect to the internet.

Not by far, as virtual access is now being developed, we will enjoy our stay even we are just playing online,
the pleasure that it can bring, a real-time access that lets you feel that you are almost playing inside the
atmosphere of an offshore casino,.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 23, 2023, 10:03:31 PM
That is definitely true and I think it stands for any investment. Since I am from a country which has a poor economy and isn't stable, it's always a thought to pull out/sell my investments to help me out with the situation. Fortunately, I am patient and I've never dipped because of some emergency and I never actually had to. But some people just can't meet ends with their salary so they sell even if they wanted to hold for a profit.

It would be ideal if everyone could invest and hold, but you can't really bet against the economic situation you are in.

Precisely, you can't control things that have not been there yet, with economic situation there're chances that you may be part of those employees
that will be cut off from the company.

Reason to sell your assets and not to continue the hold, though if you have other options or other assets aside from
