121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Encouraging people to adopt Bitcoin. on: December 07, 2015, 07:00:09 PM
no i don't think so . why ? let me explain there are too man cowboys in the crypto world that can and do cause serious damage to the trust and value of crypto. too many negatives outweigh the positive to many untrustworthy people running  exchanges and think they can do what ever they like with other peoples money. i see no future in crypto has it stands looking like a cowboy show . so why should involve the general public get involved with this ? so they can loose their hard earned money to some junky hiding behind a computer screen claiming to be a exchange. so if you ask me what i think would happen based on this the banks will copy the technology to suit themselves and business will carry on has usual. when that time comes you should all look back and think to yourselves what really killed bitcoin/crypto. you had your chance and you are blowing it big time. so i don't think you want to get the general public involved in this fiasco just yet unless you want them to consider it has a joke.

Cryptsy does seem to be getting a hammering on the fourums at the minute with alot of people complaining about not getting the coins.  i have to say i did have one issue myself.  it was in regards to an unused account which i thought i might have had some coins in (im not talking large amount now).  Cryptsy locked the account but no matter how many times i contacted them to get access to the account, i never could.  i ended up giving up and just starting a new account.

not good service at best, at worst deceptive insider trading fascist trading platform.  if i had any sort of bitcoin with cryptsy right now i would be worried... Undecided
not at all. i think they are more than taking the piss out of the whole situation trying to use things like kyc to chat shit to customers like people can not just google the term and get a explanation what it means . crypts seems to think kyc stands for hold on to customer funds illegally .tech issue or not . and your foolish troops on your chat trying to sell dodge to people through your deception is pathetic and incriminating incase you don't know this you scumbags. i don't want your shit coins i just want my btc/dash/and xrp with you can't even attempt to withdraw .fcking rats.
123  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: December 07, 2015, 04:41:34 PM
...back on topic regarding Cryptsy withdrawals. From reading the chat on their site, people are still having issues. It's been 2 weeks now since no one is able to make BTC withdrawals. I did read in the chat yesterday that one guy received his withdrawal after 5 days, but that was only one person. This could very well have been someone associated with Cryptsy, or even if this is a legitimate development, it only goes to show that Cryptsy has essentially become a pyramid scheme now - ongoing deposits fuel previous withdrawal requests, albeit at a very low rate...

I am starting to deliberate whether I should contact the SEC and CFTC about this. I don't want to hurt the greater BTC ecosystem, but at the same time if exchanges continue to run away with people's coins, something must be done about it.

And finally, an article in the news outlets just this morning about this: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/cryptsys-bitcoin-withdrawal-troubles-continue/
Unfortunately, the article is a bit half-assed and lacking in detail, and makes it appear that this is an isolated incident. The author should have done a better job researching this issue first. Maybe I should register with another outlet like coindesk and write one myself?

they are trying to manipulate people to cancel their withdrawals and buy alts being held by their very own scumbag friends that are fool up on their website . and i suspect insider trading like what stop this mofos telling their friends info about who owns what and what can be pumped and what not the possibility of abuse is great and this people have showed themselves to be dishonest and untrustworthy so i defiantly would put insider trading past them . scumbag company. i was secretly banned from their chat nobody say a notice saying i was banned not even me just couldn't post anymore apparently you are not allowed to demand your money from them in the chat. only their friends can sit in chat talking crap all day trying to divert attention from the very serious situation created by their friend cryptsy and they all seem to be making money out of it. can someone explain how this is legal/ why the community should feel like breaking some punk faces?

this exchange has been holding on to my money for 2 weeks ,and using stupid excuses like the system is slow . system is slow for 2 weeks ? at least if you are going to chat shit. make a effort . your stupid company thinks it can do what a bank can not get away with without serious consequences . you stupid company as cost me no less than 300 pounds in losses you scumbags. i want my money now . and for the motherfucker shock that bans me secretly from chat and canceled my initial withdrawal without me asking him to and the silly girl that keeps sending me generic copy and paste messages instead of sending my money. and besides how are you able to receive coins btw if the BTC network has a problem . just stop talking shit already fcking nerd punks i wish you were close to me fucking basterds. i hope you die a slow painful death scumbags. send my bloody money and stop talking shit.

you shouldn't have to jump through hoops to find out information of cryptsy staff members .  take a look at coincorner staff members here. https://www.coincorner.com/About

cryptsy has been blocking the withdrawals of customer funds and trying to string people along. i have a withdrawal pending for a week and a half now and then this guy calls himself jshock cancels it claiming it is stuck without my permission then advises me to make attempts at smaller amounts  Huh. which also means i would have to pay100k satoshi + whatever % on each withdrawal making cryptsy more money out of my withdrawal than it should/would normally get and all this from their own creation. i did this anyway i just wanted my money out has i feel such people should not be in charge of others funds. 2 days later all my broken up withdrawals are still pending.
when all of the above was pointed out to the guy calling himself  jshock he runs off and stealths ban me from chat without me or anyone else seeing a ban message show up .i was just simply unable to post on their chat anymore. very pathetic dubious tactics.
