BTC-e would be such a big win....

To get on btc-e we need lots of trade volume.  Best way to get that is to make as much users aware of Zetacoin as is possible.

This happens when there is a huge backlog of shares to import.  No need to be concerned about it.

Great news!

I've exchanged some emails with Bleutrade support and they are willing to re-list the ZET/BTC market.

Bleutrade does allow USD deposits and has some USD markets.  I've also asked them to consider adding a ZET/USD market.

It was likely a bug in the block explorer.  It's impossible to have an actual negative value on the block chain.

I have no idea why they can't fix the database connection issue.  Seems to me they either have a down MySQL server or a damaged database.  In either case, anyone who is looking for the Zetacoin wallet downloads can get them from the OP or http://getzetacoin.com.

This is an excellent question and you are correct.  There are a lot of coins popping up each day, many of which are just mine and dump schemes for a quick buck.  Most people here will simply start dropping names of the more 'hyped' coins that they are bag holding since the scheme has pretty much run it's course by this point.  Anyway...

Released on April 26, 2015 - UniversalCurrency is not a mine and dump scheme.  It is a long term project that has (sadly) been overlooked by the users on BTC talk.  The Block reward recently dropped down to 5 and the developer has begun to shed light on his overall plans.

This is a POS + POW coin. So the distribution will never ends

block 0-100 = 0 UNIT
block 101-210000 = 100 UNIT
block 210001-n =  5 UNIT



Yes, the 5 UNIT per block is the inflationary phase, pretty much nothing.

I added this coin to my solo mining services as a request. I wasn't expecting much from it then.  Today I am surprised.
