It is all over reddit. I believe someone from the Ethereum foundation answered some queries over there or something. I'm not sure. Vitalik and many others have already said they will be 100% on the Ethereum ETH, they will have nothing to do with ETC. They quite rightly don't want to be associated with the ETC criminal coin. I support this moral stance like any rightminded person would. That could be right. The main problem of the ETC is that it is a criminal coin. Otherewise , it is the same as other clones. |

How in the blue fuck was this going to work? Surely they didn't think they would be able to slide a shitton of tainted coins into a MAJOR EXCHANGE without someone freezing? Furthermore, said exchange would be brain-dead if it allowed them to crash that market, which is probably earning them a great deal of quid atm. This was a bold, bold misstep. And those funds are gonna be tied up forever. They certainly can't send them back; they are going to have to be released to a third party and I feel the authorities are going to get wrapped up in this eventually.
This is shady icing on a suspicious cake they have been building since the first blatant conflicts of interest arose in this saga.

From the link, it seems those over 7 million ETC will be returned to the original owners. I am wonder if the other 3.6 million ETC will not returned or not. If price reaches to $1m then I think you should sell all your bitcoins to local currency as there is no point in saving some coins after that as it may drop dramatically after it has touched that value. The main reason why ETC is falling is that the hype is over. Simple. Now it is time for it to develop fundamentally so that it will gain real value, not hype value. One thing to always watch out for in ETC is the hash rate. If it grows quickly expect long term growth of the coin.
