I wish could edit the vote..accidentally chose the wrong thing.

I think this topic would get a *lot* more views if you put the word 'breast' in the title.
eg. [NSFW] Need 500 btc loan for Breast implants.
Hm, think they got cheaper now...

Before I've heard gangam style ..now was clicking through ur videos..thx got stuck in my head again.
122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Small deposits from bitvisitor - Am I getting credit on: October 30, 2012, 06:29:10 AM
It is depositing in mBTC if their default doesn't show then you won't be able to see.
Go to blockexplorer.com and put in your wallet number and see if you got them. It should show you all the transactions with the amounts.
123  Economy / Lending / Re: WTF is up with all these broke dicks requesting loans? on: October 29, 2012, 10:38:09 PM
All positive flags if someone was researching a trade or loan to you.

But in my opinion a scammer is someone who does not uphold their side of a trade, or repay a loan with in the specified time and does not make agreed upon efforts to extend the time frame.

And you can only be a scammer AFTER this event occurs.

Unfortunately many members troll the newbee and lendor boards and and cry scammer anytime they seek a loan or want to pay with Paypal

easily 2/3 of my trades are with newbees who come here to check out bitcoin and are making there first small purchase.  and 99.9% of them were not scammers.

EDIT: The other .1% refuse to provide any verication and usually go on to scam other.  Coincleaner and other.  (I actually started a WATCH LIST for just this reason but unfortunately is did not receive much attention).

So it is one thing to be cautious and warn user, but it is also not very productive, or friendly or welcoming to automatically accuse new members just because they fit some predefined profile.

Do not accuse unless you learn about someone.

Which makes me wonder what tomatoe's purpose is in patrolling the lending section.  (He also paTROLLs hardware for sale.)

He prob got hurt on borrowing someone a lot of money.

Try using a credit card first to scrape it off, because it's flexible it won't leave scratches. Alcohol removes it slowly layer by layer, so it would take a long time to do it on the hardened block.
125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: dwolla-mt.gox on: October 28, 2012, 08:48:39 PM
so I did everything to get verified.....waited my month..... my first dwolla to mtgox  never showed up.   mtgox is telling me it has already been processed and i've recieved the funds.   There is no sign of this anywhere on my mt.gox account.  the only transaction it shows is the bitinstant order i placed yesterday.

anyone else ever have this problem?  I really hope they dont rip me off.

I had my funds processed at mtgox but it took a while to have it in dwolla. If you click on usd tab under transaction history in mtgox it should you.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why so much variance in mining pool reward? on: October 28, 2012, 08:01:29 PM
You are rewards based on the work you have done for the block found and it's duration.

Pleasure to do business with underminer.
8.5 coins were received.

It's normal ft this card to run memmory at 600 Mhz?

Not originally, I underclocked it.

I would think the power supply would be sufficient at stock clocks and volts, I think it's more likely a driver issue (what version are you using?) with monitors not being connected to the cards, might need a couple dummy plugs.

Yes but don't forget that mining pretty much uses all of the graphics cards power, also the power supply may not provide continuous power. If it says 800w it is probably just on the pick.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3x5830 1 runs about 100Kh/s slower than the other 2 on: October 28, 2012, 06:02:44 AM
Well isn't that just jim damn dandy.  Guess I'll start looking for one  Roll Eyes  1000W?

But just to make sure before you buy a new one, test 2 cards at a time, then switch one for the 3rd.
And then if mhs stays same definitely not enough power.

But with all your other components running along, I would look into 1200  Wink

No CPU fan

Ok after all damn day of working on this, I think I have some more information.

I've been getting a Video TDR Bluescreen.  That seems to indicate a lack of power.

I have a Kingwin 800W Mach 1 PSU.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817121026

4xHDD
1xSSD
1 DVDRW
i7 920
EVGA Classified e760
Several case fans.
6 Gigs RAM
3x 5830

Nothing is overclocked.

Is this PSU up to the task?

1 5830 consumes around 300 watt. system overload O_o?

I have an idea, what if we put it everything together and make a book and all sales from the book should go directly to the forum as a donation  Wink
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3x5830 1 runs about 100Kh/s slower than the other 2 on: October 27, 2012, 09:28:59 PM
my guess is that the card is throttling the core and memory speed by the bios somehow.  is it running at the same speeds as the other ones in afterburner or gpu-z?

All the cards are the same when running according to gpu-z except:
I just noticed that in Catalyst Control Center, the "Activity" for 2 of the cards are at 99%, while the Activity for 1 of them is at around 67-70%.

What's causing that?

Something else is using the graphics card at that moment.
I get something like that when other programs trying to use it, and my hashrate goes down. I did notice that when I move my mouse fast the usage goes down too. It goes back up again if I disconnect.

Try installing logmein and accessing the computer remotely using the logmein display driver, if you're on windows anyway

Well apparently I was completely wrong.  I installed logmein, disconnected all dispalys to the pc, rebooted...logged in from my laptop...fired up cgminer, and the same exact problem. GPU 1 100Kh/s slower.  Maybe when I was switching the card that the display was in, it was renumbering the GPU's?  I have no idea.  I just know I'm still getting the same problem with no display.

I thought what if it is logmein, just installed it on my pc and doesn't make a difference.
What if you try running it in a separate instance of cgminer, or try reaper and see if it gives you the same results.
I have had one of them wouldn't start at all, but that's because I didn't have enough ram.

I love Logmein interface, but I found that is it loading slow on slow networks.
I use TightVNC, not sure about it's compatibility with win 8.

Если продолжать мысль - то компенсировать это может только рост цен. Кстати я так же считал  Wink

Вот это надежда на поднятие цены. Только если бы они от цены не зависили  Roll Eyes

А при отсутствии роста цен окажется, что асики не нужны.
Майнеры пришли к выводу, что роста не будет и начали сливать монеты.

you helped your friends to get involved in bitcoin and set up their mining machines.
138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: motherboard not enough bandwidth? on: October 26, 2012, 11:47:09 PM
no
It may be the mining software, what mining program do you use and what settings?
Also do they have absolutely same mhz in msi afterburner or any other program that can show it?
139  Local / Трейдеры / Re: ASIC и цена BTC on: October 26, 2012, 11:38:59 PM
