121  Economy / Economics / Re: Currency v Property on: September 01, 2016, 07:48:37 PM
It's quite difficult to tell what is a currency and what is a property. I think, property's a bigger category. Alot of items that's a property is used as currency too. It's complicated to regulate these items by law. Laws often don't work well and contain paradoxes and holes. But people'll try to categorize the items anyway so you should research and be well aware of the mentioned gray parts. If you're aware of what belongs to that uncertain field, you can recognize when people just try to push you into their view but they cannot base it on any real law. In that case, you may be able to overcome their arguments and turn the situation in your favor.

Block Rewards: 1st Year 15 PB per block, 2nd year 10 PB per block, 3rd year PB per block, All other years 1 PB ber block

What's the reward per block in the 3rd year? Is it 1 PB per block or just a typo? Because you wrote out "1" at 'all other years' while at the 3rd year there's no amount given.
123  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [EDU] Faucet risks on: August 31, 2016, 07:56:14 PM
Very beginner friendly and throughout tutorial! Thank you for educating us Smiley

I'll stay away from faucet and will take my precautions if decide to try any.

Another risk related faucets is due to the amount of inexperienced users. Attackers know this and for instance, a malicious script writer could hide one or more malicious lines in his script and get the user, who doesn't know that scripting language or just tired and doesn't recognize the threat, run it telling "It's the source code, you can see it LOOKS completely safe"...

Still lots of time for the funding to come in Smiley Over the next week my focus is going to be on putting together a demo of the new UI, and working with the marketing freelancer to get things rolling with marketing. The UI demo will help showcase the potential of the project.

I'm excited to see the UI demo, but mainly because of the features that I'll be able to view via the UI. If it has an elite GFX design too, that's great.
125  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling bitcoin faucet - Cyclecoins.nl on: August 31, 2016, 07:29:27 PM
Are you sure about that you want to sell that faucet? It started quite well in my opinion and has even greater potential. You could share it on popular, related websites and register it into rotator DBs. If you're sure about selling your faucet, I'd like to know the price category that you'll sell it for. Thank you!
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: August 29, 2016, 09:25:25 PM
It's a game for me. I look at the money that I spend on gambling as the price of the game. If I lose it, I paid with it for the fun that I had. I think, it's different than what I call investment because at an investment I EXPECT an amount of return while in gambling, I've no expectations other than entertainment.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 29, 2016, 09:21:28 PM
I don't know about anyone whose life was fixed by gambling. I know, however, several people whose lives were messed because they couldn't control their addictions to gambling. For me, it neither fixed or broke since I view it as a game and I don't expect to win money anytime. I expect to LOSE the money I'm gambling with but still having fun.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░ POSTBASE ░▒▓█ █▓▒░ICO NOW LIVE - 20% bonus ends at 7PM MDT░▒▓█ on: August 29, 2016, 09:07:04 PM
The early special bonuses are going to the ICO participants that are paying In, and is not part of the bounties or free coins (every ICO has this early bonus structure). The other coins are critical tools to help the network grow. Postbase is going to be a social site that value will be based on the number of users that adopt the platform.  If the 10 million coins that are allotted for user acquisition are given out in increments of 50 that will end up going to 200000 users.  The more users engaging on the network, the more value the network will have.

From user perspective, people who receive a share from the coins will be motivated to explore what they can do with it and therefore to engage the network, which is contribution to the whole network. I think, the success of the network will become the success of investors too and generate them good profit.

Wow it finally looks like people have realized THERE IS NO MORE MONEY. THE END
Itcgear had die more than one year ago, it is real ponzi but the website is still maintenance. Maybe Chris still looking for another victim, but i am still curious about that. Let's wait another games from Chris.

So isn't Chris in jail yet? I don't expect any money, but I'd love to know the method how such a person can manage to get away or return with a new plan so easily after scamming so many users.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC] Let's rescue devtome.com! on: August 26, 2016, 08:19:20 PM
@Hunterbunter, @novacadian, @Papacrusher, @markm Do you guys know what is going on with devcoin.org and devtome.com? Both sites are down, along with the count down, pretty scary!

At the moment, both sites are up, but the recent events raise some questions. It'd be good to know what happened and what we can expect from the relaunch. I'm glad because Devcoin seems to be back, but in my experience, relaunched altcoins've even greater risk so I could appreciate an explanation.
132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convince people to use Bitcoin? on: August 26, 2016, 07:25:53 PM
I'm not sure if I want to convince people to use BTC. Although I've found my investments into BTC very profitable so far, I can't ignore the risk that people take when they invest into cryptocurrency. It should be their decision and responsibility to use BTC. I can help them make a good decision by doing my best to help them understand this cryptocurrency and share my experience with them.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Megaupload + Bitcoins on: August 25, 2016, 08:20:41 PM
I'll stay cautious until I get to know more about how it'll indeed work, but so far it seems to bring attraction and new possible uses for BTC. A lot of people who use megaupload will learn about BTC and people who're invested into BTC may be able to use their BTC in these new possibilities through megaupload.
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: August 25, 2016, 08:07:12 PM
I'd also prefer to save the experience that I obtained with this cryptocurrency. Since it's a bit different than fiat, I'd like to help my grandchildren understand how to handle it well. Like providing guidance on how they could optimize their profit from it.
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 25, 2016, 07:55:24 PM
It also matters wether we're discussing investment or saving. I couldn't accomplish my daily tasks without banking, but BTC seems to have a bright future so I'm investing into it. However, let me notice, for saving I still find gold and diamond the best. The issue is, we don't only keep our values in banks and BTC so the discussion could involve many more options, too.
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 23, 2016, 08:23:57 PM
It's a though question. Both has many advantages and disadvantages compared to each other. In reality, I'm using both, but my preference's a Bitcoin Wallet because I feel more like in control at a BTC wallet. At a Bank, I can't help if the Bank collapses.
137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 08:13:31 PM
In gambling I've 'lost' several times, but I'd say that I've lost it not when the game said that I lost but when I decided to gamble with it. Btw, the BTC I chose to gamble is the BTC what I could afford to lose so I wouldn't call it a mistake since I've used that BTC to have fun what I had.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: August 23, 2016, 08:07:33 PM
I think, it makes sense to save a small amount for my grandchildren. I never spend all BTC from my wallets, I always save some that I'm not using, just keeping. Sometimes I'm broke and I'm happy to have it and sometimes I'm happy to think that when I can't be broke anymore, my children and grandchildren will have it.
139  Economy / Lending / Re: need loan 0.05 on: August 21, 2016, 01:25:04 PM
That is considered really shady and it doesn't work either because a lot of lender doesn't allow a person to have multiple loans at the same time. Your coffee example is also kinda off, because nobody gives 100% in interest.

You are still welcome you lend to him, but remember the risk is high without collateral.

Fortunately, a double coffee is only a bit more expensive than regular variant at my favourite place. But I agree, one should be honest with them when taking loans from multiple members and it makes finding lenders who accept high risk harder, but just like at gambling, I wouldn't put more money into loaning in this way than I can afford to lose. For me, it's like a game. I get excited to find out whether OP'd pay me back or run away.
140  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Can someone offer refinancing? on: August 21, 2016, 12:08:09 PM
If you've financial problems due to health problems, how do I know you'll ever be able to pay me back? I can't ask for it since it's your extra personal information, but a proof of your exact health problem could tell much more about this request.
