121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: May 30, 2016, 10:33:50 AM
It's not the "2 cards in one rig" that's an issue - it's the "2 cards pulling WAY TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT to the power capasity of your power supply" I'm talking about.
However, I went back and re-read, and noticed 970 - for some reason I was thinking 980.
2 GTX 970 should be OK on your existing power supply as long as you don't massively overclock or overvolt/overclock them.

I prefer a simple "nvidia-smi -l 10" for my report window - the "10" part sets the auto-loop to 10 seconds, adjust to your preference. That report would be perfect IMO if it reported active clock rates, but it's close enough as is. It's also a much smaller report than PrecisionX, and shows all 3 cards at one time (don't get me started on the massive waste of space Sapphire's Trixx utility chews up for about the SAME functionality as EVGA's PrecisionX).

thx bro, yea i wont overclock them at all, i will leave it as the original clock rate that it comes with

r u sure ? i see alot of ppl mining with more than 1 gpu on 1 rig ? why would alot of ppl do that if its bad ? and my system will be using ~500watts, not really good but decent to make 120$ first month then i upgrade my psu

There is no need for SLI in mining. All the cards work independently. It is the same for AMD cards.

i thought i have to sli them nvm thx

nvidia-smi -i 0 --loop-ms=1000 --format=csv,noheader --query-gpu=power.draw

i tried to type it in cmd, but nothing happened, where i should type it ?
thx vm 4 reply

cmd as admin --->cd C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI\ ---> nvidia-smi -i 0 --loop-ms=1000 --format=csv,noheader --query-gpu=power.draw

thx very much

GTX 970 4gb SSC EVGA @18MH @148-150Watt

seems too much, try to reduce power limit to 50-55%

sorry for asking alot but can you tell me how i can do it ? and does it reduce my hashrate, because in a couple weeks i will buy another gtx 970 and make it SLI and i only have 620watt coolermaster psu, so less watt's will be helpfull

128  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 26, 2016, 11:16:30 AM

what do you mean? where did you find Iraq mentioned as supported?
https://help.e-coin.io/hc/en-us/articles/202424481-E-card-is-shipped-to-the-following-countries-at-this-moment

We would love to support every country, but the card issuing bank does not support Iraq as well as quite a number of other countries due to regulatory limitations

aha cool, i just noticed that i cant even get a virtual one xD
but there was iraq as a country selection on wirex for some reason
129  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 25, 2016, 02:19:55 AM

you could try and do this at your own risk, however, the bank may not issue the card or may issue it but block it later, because Iraq is not on the list of allowed countries. One thing for sure, you will definitely not be able to verify such account to an Iraqi address
[/quote]

iraq is supported on wirex
and i dont see why most of the site doesnt support iraq

can i still use the virtual card on all the website like amazon ? just like the plastic one ?

do i need to send them ID's ?

i dont live in USA but i want to ship it to a package forwarding site, is it okay to type iam from Germany and in the shipping address i type USA please help me

yes, virtual card can be used for all online payments.

Didn't quite get the question about ID's - did you mean our bank or amazon?
Same for the shipping address - are you talking about ordering the card or ordering stuff online using the card?

thx for the reply

about the ID i mean do i have to send you driving license, passport stuff like this Smiley

the shipping, iam talking about shipping the Debit card to and package forwarding site in (USA) then they ship it to me to where i live (Iraq)

so when i fill my info on the site can i type i live in Iraq, and ship the card to USA ? then buy stuff with my card on amazon and ship it to the same address i shipped the card to in USA

i hope u can understand my English xD

136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My experience with buying Steam Game with BITCOIN ! on: May 17, 2016, 01:16:14 PM
I rarely buy games from steam directly now, I usually just buy an early access game that looks promising
When it comes to buying AAA games nothing beats third party sites like G2A and kinguin, their prices can be really cheap when compared to steam Wink
Though I use it for reloading my steam wallet, at least I don't need to pay overpriced wallet through third party Tongue
and now I just gonna wait for steam controller to be available on my country and its an instant buy with bitcoin for me Smiley

nice
i usually buy games from kinguin aswell, but sometimes when games on sale on steam they're cheaper than kinguin so i buy tgem from steam, and i hate to pay with my prepaid card cuz evey time i charge it they take 3$ and 0.25$ fee on each buy...rip off, but BTC 0 fees
137  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My experience with buying Steam Game with BITCOIN ! on: May 17, 2016, 11:15:20 AM
I was kinda hyped when I heard that Steam is accepting bitcoins because I have no other way of adding funds to my Steam wallet because I don't have a Paypal with me (and I'm too lazy go to out and buy steam cards). So far, I haven't had any issue just like you.

niceee! good to hear that, hopefully no one get issues
138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My experience with buying Steam Game with BITCOIN ! on: May 16, 2016, 08:20:57 PM
0 confirmations? Huh

You'd think that that would be what steam of all companies wouldn't do. It's another way to charge back. Make a $100 transaction with no fee, use the $100 on Susan, then the network bounces back your TX. Uh oh.

i didnt get what you mean actually , but as soon as i sent the btc the game got in my inventory... thats what i meant to say.
