Just buy a sufficient PSU, there are not that expensive. You will have better results.

Gut ich hatte mit 1.19 btc pro Stück gerechnet, wer verkauft die denn für 0,65?
126  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Asic USB Miner - totaler Irrsinn? on: June 29, 2013, 03:25:11 PM
Hab mir jetzt 4 Asicsminer geholt. Mal schauen ob ich den Einsatz innerhalb von 4 Monaten wieder raus kriege

Sry aber das haut ja nichtmal mit der heutigen Difficulty hin.
127  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 28, 2013, 04:58:24 PM
I see two problems with you guys complaining about the price.

1) You never calculate the price of BTC when considering ROI.  What if BTC goes to $200, $300, or even higher?  It seems all calculations assume ~$100 price forever and everyone's ultimate conclusion is that you could never make a profit.

2) I see 1.0 BTC price as a parity with available GPU's.  It seems that 1 BTC , ~$100 can not buy you 300MH/s of GPU power.  Doesn't that make this USB ASIC a better value than a GPU?  Let's forget spending $5-10k on a huge ASIC setup and getting more MH/s per $, I'm speaking for the little guys here who might have been contemplating adding more GPU's while BFL and other companies completely fail at shipping their ASICs.

1) If you think the price is increasing why would you buy these usbs? Buy Bitcoin instead.
2) USB ASIC are better then gpus but they wont ROI anyway.

129  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales [Temporarily Out of Stock] on: June 25, 2013, 02:45:09 PM
ASICMiner is the only game in town if you want to buy today and get your ASIC as quick as DHL can deliver it.

They could charge 40BTC for the same blades and they would sell like hotcakes.

Bullshit. Since the difficulty is rising so fast the demand has dropped or do you think friedcat is reducing the price just for fun.
130  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 25, 2013, 12:10:13 AM
Then you will loose even more money and still dont make a ROI.

This is an irritating price-correction in such a short amount of time indeed. As much as I'm tempted to purchase another 50 of these, I just can't rationalize it given the possibility they may be priced at 0.50 BTC each next month  Undecided

Xian, I'm gonna sit on my coins from now on and let the market settle before deciding to buy more hash power. Too many players adjusting their prices. It's got to be wise to wait now.

Best advice, let the market cooling down and wait how the price is after Bitfury and Avalon Chips arrive.
131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 11:54:34 PM
If you knew it wasn't worth it, why are you pissed?

I'm only a bit pissed - anyone would be if they bought something for 2 BTC that was selling for 1 BTC two weeks later. Not rocket science really...

[EDIT] Point is I'm not a returning customer.

I'm only teasing, I understand what you're saying.

I wonder how many people are ordering more @ BTC1 to bring their average cost down?

If you bought 1 @ 2 and 2 @ 1, that works out to BTC1.33 each Wink

Then you will loose even more money and still dont make a ROI.

Also quasi die Hälfte aller vorhandener Bitcoins?

140  Other / Off-topic / Re: Avalon unit arrived in a badly damaged condition. on: June 03, 2013, 06:17:08 PM
Maybe a fast solution is to sell this unit to some of the developers here to have something in hand quickly.
