2) exchanged our btc to US $ around the 20th and made a nice profit already (from sub $ 90 to 110$ and up)
3) and yes he ordered knc miners with that US $
4) he will stall us some more and refund a few select high threat persons to him in his area
5) in october knc miners will ship and he WILL MINE ON HIS OWN
6) AND WILL REFUND EVERYONE with mined btc from knc miners WE PAID FOR
Conclusion:
He got a nice +20% profit to begin with And will own 12+ knc miners soon.
And we get our money back with btc mined from these 12 miners or from the first 20% margin.
If you ask me this guy is a GENIUS!

I'm sensitive to the risk of suppressing complaints. There have been many scam hardware "vendors" of various degrees. People should be able to communicate about the risks, seek recourse, etc. At the same time, these complaints have reached an intensity where they are self defeating. If you tell me vendor X is a scam I don't know if its because they are or because you're crazy, because you're a shill for another vendor, because you're a shill for them trying to make the complainers look crazy, if you're a miner trying to scare people out of mining, etc. As a warning this information is no longer very helpful. This is actually a really funny paragraph. It's like pro wrestling around here.  This will obviously calm down if vendors don't over promise and devices get delivered on time. I don't think people would be on here crying if delivery times were even close to what the vendor(s) predicted. I don't see this getting any better when more people realize they have been fleeced by ***, let's just hope *** comes through in Sept. A couple of things I will say is the guys who are veterans might be bored with this stuff but I am sure it has helped some newer members or people just browsing to take a step back at some point. You can look at Ebay for two minutes and see pages of people about to get cranked with the difficulty curve. The one thing I noticed right away about this site is it is uncensored for the most part for which I give major props....Considering this will eventually balance out I'm not sure about changing it. |

I think there's some confusion about the refunds. The way I see it, the only people getting a refund are the people on the unfinished and unordered Jupiter#2. Everyone else: Your miner is ordered and paid for. You can't just chicken out now because you don't like OP. Maybe, if OP agrees and KnC gives him all his money back, but otherwise, we're just going to sit this out. Be a fucking man. Are you kidding me? OP can't even take 30 seconds to reply to this thread, so you think he's gonna take the time to calculate and pay everyone's dividends on time? And you think people are gonna sit around and watch their money go down the shitter? Maybe if someone else takes over the group buy then I'll be happy to wait it out, but until then, there's been too much negligence shown for this to be viable anymore. "Be a fucking man". OK well since that has been sorted out there is still another issue that hasnt been updated.
A lot of us purchased shares right before the OP went MIA and nothing as been updated/reflected to show a lot of us have shares in machines.
This is not a priority because you are not going to receive your dues. Congrats everyone you have helped buy 50k of mining gear for Rag, you should feel much better. prodigits7 here a tip for you: Have your lover come on here and answer posts to his own group but that is worth over 50k. |

I don't know whether ragin does have personal/family issues. If so, I sincerely hope he'll cope with it. The problem is: There's a lot of BTC involved here, and even more important: there may be a scam going on, hurting a lot of people. And in this case, given all the inconsistencies, I think it'll be best to shut this operation down. The tactics being used (there'll be a conference, you can meet me/us in NY, one miner has been paid for, the Avalon clone parts have been paid for to some extent) are typical for shady companies or companies struggling with demand/supply like BFL or Yifu's delayed batches. They're giving us basically one tiny "proof" at a time, while ignoring others. This delays things severely. This also suffices for some people (wishful thinking, Stockholm Syndrome, etc.). We need to act now. I propose the following items that need to be taken care of: - WE need to decide what we want to achieve. Some are still hoping for the miners to be delivered, some are indifferent, some haven't noticed, and so on... We have to decide on a common goal (Refund everything; refund everything that's not been invested with KnC - needs to be proven; wait for ragin to do something). I propose to refund everything. If orders have indeed been placed and paid for, let's talk with KnC and cancel the miner or at least transfer the mining operation to someone else (maybe an ongoing KnC groupbuy which has already several miners ordered.) If money has been transferred to KnC, it is a good sign. We can talk with them. - Proof, that (a part of the miners) has indeed been paid for. I'd like to receive this proof from KnC themselves. A screenshot doesn't constitute a proof in this case. This may be achieved with the conference call, as well. - Organize and conduct a conference call with someone of us (e.g. danieldaniel, or someone else), John K., and someone from KnC (make sure that WE call their number, so it's not them setting up a friend of theirs with a swedish accent.). This call has to take place within 48 (better 24) hours! No more delays! Extra points if we record the call. Full Refund |

So, I talked to prodigits (on his neoasics Skype), and he seems like a pretty cool guy. It still could obviously be a sock-puppet, but I doubt a sockpuppet would take the time to voice-chat and text-chat with me on Skype.
He basically wanted people to "calm down". He also invited me to a conference call with KNC Miner (that'll be happening soon, we're still working out a time) and John K.
Prodigits is the person that's building the Avalon ASIC's, apparently, so that's how he knows ragingazn.
I still haven't talked to raginazn, so I'm not sure what's up with him, but prodigits seems to want to help out.

If it is this sketchy ordering imagine the bullshit you will hear when it comes time for dividends. I have not heard John K say he is working on anything with these guys other than "it doesn't look good"  Tom (tom.technologies) why don't your meet with Daniel in person in CT and show him the orders forget a KNC conference call. If all this is validated by a non puppet then he should put coins in an account as collateral with John K if he is serious about continuing this. Other than that there is no salvaging here guys be logical. Think about it all of this could have been solved in ten minutes by posting the orders here on BT. If he can't even post in this thread you have to be nuts to listen to some guy with a newly created account with or without Skype. If you have Paypal do yourself a favor and get your money back. Just informing that ragingazn628 posted today in ASIC chip group buy thread and still no response in KNC group buy thread, so I'd like to request you to take action - PM this guy and warn him about releasing his personal info, if he won't respond or refund people in KNC group buy he was organising. If he doesnt resond, while being active in other threads it simply means it's a scam and you should consider ending this farse by releasing his info to all the investors.
