I hope things pickup after they are in Berlin and in their new office because at the moment. It is to quiet for my liking even from the community manager which I think should atleast help Max out with writing about the things he did if he doesnt have time for it.
This community manages itself Cheesy

Why need a community manager then hahahah  Tongue
Not sure, maybe he's on vacation or something.

He isn't. Joel is managing a lot in the background, like the whole bounty stuff or forwarding messages to me from the community. Much more than one could see, he is a very valuable team member. Smiley

Joel was of great help when I had an issue with the transfering the ICO coins.
I personally think he is of great value.

I was about to highlight the same.

Anyone knows why? And how long this will last?

What is the latest update on this contest? The forum thread mentioned by Fixx in his last post is not in English. Are you taking this contest to your language only?

The last question in the Russian thread is from the first of June and is asks: "When will the results of the contest be announced?"

So it is the same status as over here: No clear picture and no straight forward communication.

Here is the private message I sent to Fixx on the 13th of July. He did not answer yet.

Hi Fixx,

I hope you are well.

Is there any date that you and the team aim for completing the evaluation of 1000 idea Emercoin contest?
In the contest description you said it sad it would take place during or right after the content closes.

Quote
500 EMC – Prize for ideas which have been accepted for execution (the prize is paid out the moment the decision to execute the idea is made by the committee. Decisions to execute on ideas may take place during or right after the content closes

Can you please give an update on this?

Thank you in advance!

By now the team should honor the mighty amount of ideas that were generated. The contest was promoted as an easy and transparent way to gain Emercoin with a highlighted prize pool of 5000 EMC - of which solely a small percentage has been payed out yet.
So far it clearly looks like an "odd take and give thing".

Thank you for your contribution Kyle. This is the type of brainstorming we are looking to conjure up here in the 1000 Idea Emercoin contest. There has never been an easier and more rewarding way to get free EMC.

I once again ask for a straight and transparent answers. Please make sure to find the time it needs to complete the evaluation Fixx and the Emercoin Team. This is surely very time demanding but you received plenty of input for your project and it needs to be done.

Regards

Do you think we will see Lisk listed as lending coin / coin that can be traded with leverage soon on exchanges? Any exchange offering this already - do you know?

Did you contact the exchange Livecoin from your public pc informing them? I bet not.

I will contact the exchange and will ask if their has been a communication lately or if their status is still "no word from the mojo devs"

Can someone try this Windows build:

https://mega.nz/#!dZhxGAgY!4KJzyR53hv2p8Iif2pxnI1uVYEZ-k64vSri4YKsTVlY

and tell me if it works

The guy who also made it will get his 1 BTC. I have someone else trying to sort stuff out until I am out so hold the panic right for a little longer.

Well this post would swimmingly fit into the official mojo thread.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Trust in Crypto - Pure PoS | V2 wallets out now [[SCAM ??]] on: July 08, 2016, 07:55:06 PM
It doesn't depend on me alone but I am not able to properly communicate as I have said. I can't access any Bitcoin to pay the bounty, I can't access any servers and I can't do much from here. I have help but you will have to wait.

If you want a refund then, PM me with the amount of MOJO and I will buy back at ICO price (after 13/07)
You decide this before we get V2 running properly

or you believe that we will get V2 running then wait

all the moaning doesn't help. I ended up in hospital at a bad time. I am committed to getting MOJO running.

I'm not going to make any other updates until after 13/07 as there is not much I can do from here.

So,

PM me to buy back at ICO price before V2 is running or wait...

Hi EBK100,

suddenly when posts in the mojo thread clearly mentioned that the identity of you was confirmed you are back again. Interesting.

With a nice story. But at the moment I clearly doubt it. You are solely buying time with your hospital story.

For someone whose mobile was taken you clearly managed to be on your "public computer" quite often soon afterwards.  Chats and posts in here are spread all over the day. I bet you are still in front of the same pc where you started the whole thing.

Yes right - the password manager was lost.

There is no trust being build up by you locking the mojo thread. You have some thing to hide and your story is full of lies.

@Hagie: Many thanks for the steps you took in order to keep the conversation on this coin alive. Critical views should not be able to be depressed.

I lost my trust in this coin.

Well I hope the freelancers you are hopefully paying for will find a solution for you in the next days - or further lies would have to build up on your previous onces.

If you are stuck and you do not know how to solve an issue have to balls to commit it. But running away, hiding and banning opinions does not help.

And complaining about moaning people - are you serious? What do you expect? When a investment one believed it turns out to be full of lies.

Do not believe this cheap story guys!

This coin is scam.

Did you contact the exchange Livecoin from your public pc informing them? I bet not.

Will you be able and willing to send us any proof that you are in hospital? I bet not.
Would you buy your coin at the current price level because you know live will be in it soon again and you can squeeze out so many people out of their investment as the price hit rock bottom and is miles away from the ICO price? I bet not.

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Trust in Crypto - Pure PoS | V2 wallets out now on: July 06, 2016, 09:21:39 PM
Also interesting from the biggest holding of

68,013,388.6 MOJO on the address MEwgXC45Q4ziWrfqegtAbFGH3h2wjyqbbH

(64,71 % of all mojos) no transaction was made since 14 days.

Just by checking the biggest holdings and assuming the way it turned out to be was not exactly as planned (technical issues arose which might triggered to dissapear sooner with the btcs despite the plan to sell mojos at a later stage or hold) their might be second person involved. It could of course also be unfortunate investor / (or the exchange) / or also a holding of the lost dev. who holds on to

   21,000,000.0 MOJO

-> https://mojocoin.org/resources.html

Does that make sense in your opinion?

Hello everyone.

We still can't get in touch with devs, that is why we can't run wallet online. Network seems don't working properly at the moment, that is why we can't open wallet, we need to talk to devs first. We're trying to contact them for 4 days at the moment.

thanks for this update
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Trust in Crypto - Pure PoS | V2 wallets out now on: June 30, 2016, 07:06:57 PM
if anyone can provide a link to a working win wallet, I can test as well with a small amount, otherwise I will use virtualbox and use the mac wallet and try and get the chain moving along. The chain isn't moving since nobody is staking. We need a lot of small amounts staking so chain moves.

Fuzzbawls you posted on here so why not release link to wallet? I don't think the dev would screw you on the bounty.

Is the Mac wallet working correctly? Does anyone have any experiences here? So far I kept my coins at Livecoin.
But with a few confirmations that all works well  - I will consider the transfer and staking.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOJO] Mojocoin - Trust in Crypto - Pure PoS | V2 wallets out now on: June 29, 2016, 08:45:41 PM
and how much time do you think is enough? it took months to "fix" this coin. Everyone had to go through a swap and what do we have now? a stuck chain & buggy wallet

That puts it quite well.

The Swap took place at a too early stage of the V2 development.

Besides that new positive features were indicated once the swap took place.

For me this coin seems to a hobby for a talented but tiny team.

The time that is being invested in this coin, the development and the communication so far is too little and too misleading  to get the project rolling.

Overcoming hurdles will be more than difficult if it remains like this.

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Play The 1000 Idea Emercoin Contest and win EMC (with 5000 EMC prize pool) on: June 22, 2016, 07:24:43 PM
This is a good question, thank you for analysis.
It should be understood that the contestants laid out ideas and there - https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/22321-vnimanie-emerfond-emerfund-provodit-konkurs/#entry399261

Moreover, this amount is reserved as prizes to the ideas that will be implemented.

And yes, the work on the evaluation and analysis of the ideas going on.

Hello Fixx,

Many thanks for this information.  It is a good sign that the analysis of the ideas is still staking place and the thread was not forgotten.

As you wrote:

Moreover, this amount is reserved as prizes to the ideas that will be implemented.

So those that mean that either

(1) all the remaining prize pool is being payed out to solely ideas that are going to implemented?

or

(2) from the prize pool the prices for ideas that are going to implemented is taken and the remaining is contributed to all participants?

The below indicates the second would be appropriate. Can you confirm?

The prize pool will be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. Example: If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC

So I do not want to create any pressure so - as I am very happy this contest took place. I reckon this is a truly time consuming task but also the evaluation of what ideas will be implemented was described as a fast matter  - as something that would take place during or right after the contest (highlighted the quote in red) and that did not happen up to now.

Prizes:

5000 EMC – Total prize pool

500 EMC – Prize for ideas which have been accepted for execution (the prize is paid out the moment the decision to execute the idea is made by the committee. Decisions to execute on ideas may take place during or right after the content closes)

50 EMC – Prize for an idea judged as potentially interesting for future implementation (the prize is paid when the contest closes, please don't forget to include your wallet addresses)

10 EMC – Prize for an idea that shows the contestants "best effort"  (the prize is paid when the contest closes, please don't forget to include your wallet addresses).

10 EMC – Incentive prize, paid for placing a link to this very content thread in your group, blog, forum, facebook, twitter or anywhere else that will be seen in the cryptosphere. Paid once for each linked resource, assuming the referrer proposes at least one relevant idea (as determined by the committee). The more you share and promote the contest itself, the more EMC you earn!

The prize pool will be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. Example: If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC

I was not involved in the 1000 Idea Emercoin Contest, but wish that it was still running. In my opinion, it's a wonderful idea and it should never really close.

I have sent a small personal donation to starsnshamrocks for his ideas, as they were my favorite. TETRIS is very loved and as EMC has Russian roots, many people will easily make a connection between EMC, TETRIS, and Blockchain. I thought it's a genius promotion idea to involve TETRIS somehow in an EMC promotion in future!

Sponsorship of the XXL tetris on a huge building

Contact these students from the Kiel University in Germany and ask to be a sponsor for their mega sized tetris on a huge building.

Cool. Many thanks Fixx! That is a nice feedback for the offered ideas.

But is the full 5000 EMC price pool being totally payed out?

...

The contest judges are picked by the Fund and comments and feedback will be published along with references to the transactions which contained the prizes.

Prizes:

5000 EMC – Total prize pool

...

The prize pool will be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. Example: If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC

The 1000 idea contest seems to have been very successful in generating ideas, and I also hope that Fixx will honor what was stipulated in the Contest Description. I know they are very busy working on http://www.blockchainengine.org/ so perhaps it will just take some time to process all the great ideas.

That is very kind of you Emerger. Many thanks! I appreciate this a lot.

I am sure Fixx and the team are very busy but by now I would expect at least a signal that soon the contest ideas are valued as promoted.

Fixx  I know this is surely a time consuming task but by now plenty of weeks have passed - please be so kind to give a feedback.

Contest Description

Prizes:

5000 EMC – Total prize pool

500 EMC – Prize for ideas which have been accepted for execution (the prize is paid out the moment the decision to execute the idea is made by the committee. Decisions to execute on ideas may take place during or right after the content closes)

The prize pool will be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. Example: If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC

So promoted was a pool of 5000 Emercoins which is going to be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. The example was given "If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC"

In the following lines I am listing the payouts that have been made from this pool. I just quickly went over the posts. So errors are possible.

In sum EMC 450 have been payed out. Means 4550 EMC are still to be payed out according to the contest rules.

Here is the list of participants and what they have been payed out (also in percentage of the made payouts).

Note: In the below calculations a comma is used as a decimal separator.

USER    RECEIVED EMC /IN PERCENT
sandiman   10/   2,22%
dtpcoins   10/   2,22%
foxkyu   30/   6,67%
namjar    10/   2,22%
msaidm1908   10/   2,22%
starsnshamrocks   110/   24,44%
bioly   20/   4,44%
nara1892   10/   2,22%
excwordalt   50/   11,11%
cryptospreader   40/   8,89%
m4nki   50/   11,11%
piebeyb   10/   2,22%
bitpotter   10/   2,22%
rendravolt   10/   2,22%
Valermos   10/   2,22%

affandi   10/   2,22%
tazmantasik   10/   2,22%
mammon   10/   2,22%

SUM EMC/   450   100%

_________________________________________

Instead 5000 EMC so far only 9 % of the pool was distributed.

So by just applying the easiest distribution rule of the contest each contributor to the contest should receive 11 times (exactly 11,11111111 = 5000 EMC/450 EMC) of what has been payed out already.

Simplest distribution:

The prize pool will be distributed regardless of the number of ideas received. Example: If we receive 10 ideas total then each submitted idea will receive 500 EMC

Applied multiplicator should be:

5000/450 =
11,11111111

That would mean that the contestants should in total receive the below target amount.

USER    RECEIVED EMC /    TARGET EMC
sandiman   10/   111,1111111
dtpcoins   10/   111,1111111
foxkyu   30/   333,3333333
namjar    10/   111,1111111
msaidm1908   10/   111,1111111
starsnshamrocks   110/   1222,222222
bioly   20/   222,2222222
nara1892   10/   111,1111111
excwordalt   50/   555,5555556
cryptospreader   40/   444,4444444
m4nki   50/   555,5555556
piebeyb   10/   111,1111111
bitpotter   10/   111,1111111
rendravolt   10/   111,1111111
Valermos   10/   111,1111111
creativeeditors   10/   111,1111111
Ris88    10/   111,1111111
Giebaymax   10/   111,1111111
affandi   10/   111,1111111
tazmantasik   10/   111,1111111
mammon   10/   111,1111111

SUM EMC    450/   5000

As payments have been made out the below states the difference between target and received payments.

USER    "Missing" EMC (Target - Received)
sandiman   101,1111111
dtpcoins   101,1111111
foxkyu   303,3333333
namjar    101,1111111
msaidm1908   101,1111111
starsnshamrocks   1112,222222
bioly   202,2222222
nara1892   101,1111111
excwordalt   505,5555556
cryptospreader   404,4444444
m4nki   505,5555556
piebeyb   101,1111111
bitpotter   101,1111111
rendravolt   101,1111111
Valermos   101,1111111
creativeeditors   101,1111111
Ris88   101,1111111
Giebaymax   101,1111111
affandi   101,1111111
tazmantasik   101,1111111
mammon   101,1111111

SUM EMC    4550

So this shows that not just a small percentage of the pool has been used yet (9 %) it also shows that each contestant should have an interest in a proper distribution of the 5000 EMC contest price pool.

I hope Fixx or someone from the team gets back to me/us. I spent hours gathering ideas and writing them down here and so did others. Therefore the contest should be handled as promoted. But I am confident that will be the case.

Many thanks in advance & best regards!

One might be able to help. I wanted to transfer my mojos to Livecoin.
But my wallet seems to be stuck. It is out of sync. I do have active connections but the synchronizing with the network is not progressing at all. No download of the history takes place. Plenty of restarts did not help.

Also just a small fraction of the coins are listed.

So I hope I have access to the coins until the 20th. Anyone experienced this? What could help?

edit: I found a backup.
Sorry for the beginners question: Can anyone tell me how load this backup .dat file into the wallet (on a Mac)?

I managed it. As I don't have access to my pc in the upcoming days I am glad it worked out before the 20th.
