121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Decentralized Debit Cards | OCaml | New Blockchain Platform on: August 31, 2016, 09:27:59 PM
I like the idea of having a decentralized debit card where anyone can create his own card. Looking forward to its launching... good luck on this project.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gnosis - the decentralized prediction market platform and oracle standard on: August 20, 2016, 07:46:06 AM
Gnosis crowdsale will be held at 12 september 2016 this summer. gnosis is very2 likely like THEDAO  the different is gnosis is more traditional and manual then system like the dao

it will be start selling 1 ether for 100 gnosis token at startup then 2 week later will be rise up to 1,5 ether / 100 gnosis

https://soundcloud.com/consensys/state-change-21-the-gnosis-dao

I hope the money they make will be sufficient for this project.
123  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OPENDIME: Zero-Trust Physical Bitcoin Wallet – Bearer Bond – Credit Stick on: August 20, 2016, 07:22:18 AM
Is it like a paper wallet where anybody that has your private keys can spend it?

If the opendime gets stolen, the thief can spend the coins?
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are there any altcoins that aren't shitcoins? on: August 18, 2016, 08:33:18 AM
Monero is not a scam coin Grin

From that list, I think the ETH, LTC an Monero are good coins with active developments with the exception of litecoin.

ETH is falling off the radar.

There are coins better than btc. They have more features, etc. But the truth is that 99% of people don't need that features. So, some other coin can surpass bitcoin only if something very bad will happen to btc.

Nothing bad is going to happen to bitcoins. Any altcoin that wants to rise must work hard to create a niche for itself in the crypto-world.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: August 18, 2016, 08:26:03 AM
Probably not a good investment. Seriously, gulden is relatively unheard of in the general bitcoin world and isn't that popular. Without a demand for this coin, there obviously wouldn't be a very bullish market.

Besides, we don't really need it when we already have other altcoins, and especially bitcoin itself. So there is really no point for gulden to grow in the future.

Those altcoins unheard of in the bitcoin world sometimes rake in profit for you during a pump.
126  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cryptocurrency Central Bank President banned on politicians Facebook page on: August 17, 2016, 02:42:08 PM
I had no idea, cryptos have a central bank much less a president. The world of cryptos is based on decentralization.
127  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal to payment cards on CEX.IO - Your suggestions on: August 17, 2016, 02:39:33 PM
Your withdrawal fees are not too high, that's good to know. Grin
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: August 15, 2016, 06:39:15 PM
It was voted for by a bunch of stupid people fed lies.

Short term people might deel they got a result. Long term nothing much is gonna change apart from everyone being worse off.

Let's just hope everyone will not be so worse off.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2016-08-12]Bitcoin Or Ethereum, Which Blockchain Is Right For Your Startup? on: August 14, 2016, 04:41:59 PM
The two thefts did not emanate from the blockchain, the issue is not general but personal.

The parties affected are to make necessary adjustments on their mode of operation.
131  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-12]Envisioning Bitcoin’s Technology at the Heart of Global Finance on: August 14, 2016, 04:38:24 PM
The blockchain had been destined to take over the financial world right from its inception, it was just a matter of time.
132  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-12] Blockchain to Kill Corruption in the Developing World? on: August 14, 2016, 04:23:33 PM
'The transparency inherent in blockchain is what developing/underdeveloped countries need to combat corruption. You can't steal money and hide it anymore... you will be caught red-handed Grin
133  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-12]Bitcoin Withdrawals Peak as Bitfinex Goes Live Again on: August 14, 2016, 04:06:47 PM
It will take a while for Bitfinex to get back on its feet again. . . I hope it gets back on its feet and installs tighter security.

The only game you could earn some cash is the poker game and it is risky, you could lose all your money in one minute.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins stop bad debts on: August 07, 2016, 07:00:24 PM
People take loans on this forum, what is stopping banks from giving bitcoins loans in the future only to discover those people can't pay back? Bitcoin is money too you know.
139  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex ETH wallet stuck in maintenance for a long time on: August 05, 2016, 02:48:42 PM
At the moment, hackers will rather hack ETC than hack ETH.

Bittrex probably got scared with what happened to Bitfinex and wanted to take extra precautions. Cool
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start a new bitcoin Biz here on: August 05, 2016, 02:45:20 PM
Since you took a loan to start a mining business, you need a quick return on investment. Currently, you will get a slow returns with bitcoin mining.

Check coinmarketcap.com to see the viable altcoins in the market, choose the one(s) you want, mine and sell. You might even exchange them for btc if you wish.

P.S: Ethereum classic altcoin is doing well at the moment.
