121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: July 18, 2017, 07:44:36 PM
Very interested in this project and just started off by registering for the promotion on this thread so this is good for attracting attention for your offering of a brand new exchange to the bitcoin community.

I am fully for what you have to offer in giving your potential customers some relief in the form of high transactions fees they are paying using other exchanges.

They all feel as if they are being taken advantage of by these other exchanges.
So I do hope you and your exchange do wish to alleviate us all from these higher than normal transactions fees to want to move our own funds around a site or out of a site when you want to.

Thanks.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 18, 2017, 06:35:40 PM
I can see this happening because it doesn't take any skills or having an education to be able to obtain it.
It is all internet money or cryptocurrency as the people online like to call it.
So all you need is a data plan to hold, obtain and use it. Undecided
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: The hard fork has begun! on: July 18, 2017, 03:29:46 AM
So does this mean that Bitcoin Unlimited is no more?
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZENCASH: Permanent, Distributed, and Fully Anonymous cryptocurrency on: July 16, 2017, 04:10:09 PM
Good job at being one of the few coins that didn't plunge together with BTC, actually ZEN gained price and almost kept USD price (well, it dropped, no wonder, but far from what happened to HUSH and KMD, for example).

BTW, why not Cryptopia for exchange? Or even YoBit?
CryptoDAO never struck me as respectful exchange, their website is lacking, to say at least. Bittrex is covered, for those that enjoy it, but currently seems the only meaningful way to trade Zen.
~snipped~

miner --server zen.suprnova.cc --user YOURLOGINNAME.WORKERNAME --pass d=128 --port 3618

Try changing the pass to d=128, which would set the rate to something bearable for your speed (or play around if it makes too many or too few shares)

Also note Suprnova has slow worker update, it might take few long minutes to catch up. Also check if the worker is orange (active) in your worker profile page.
Just finished downloading the wallet and it just catching up with the most recent transactions.
It is rather quick so I have no problems in waiting it to finish before looking for an exchange to start buying from so to deposit to my wallet address to test it out.
As to your request in not seeing it available on any other exchanges then the one you listed, it is available to start trading on bittrex as someone on the bounty campaign thread has already mentioned and was asking if using an address wallet from them was safe. Undecided
I am not so sure since even poloniex had issues in the past couple of weeks with their withdrawals so i would say no to that.
Might as well store your own coins in a wallet you have on your pc and use exchange sites for only that purpose in mind,
To only trade this coin on in regards to buying and sell,
but that is it! Wink
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 15, 2017, 04:51:43 PM
Wow! Look what just has happened after I tried to "pay to myself" 59 coins :-)
https://ibb.co/iPyrAF
Pretty weird :-)
And the wallet is still:
https://ibb.co/cUkPxv
Somehow I sense this sync between the wallet and the bank account still doesn't work properly...
The mysterious "other wallet address" is eating the test coins like a black hole:-) As soon as they get out of the parking lot they disappear beyond the "address horizon", although they are still visible on the wallet account. Moreover, interest that should be accumulated from the parking doesn't add to the balance in the wallet:
Bank yesterday:
https://ibb.co/iPyrAF
Bank today:
https://ibb.co/ii3H2v
Wallet yesterday:
https://ibb.co/cUkPxv
Wallet today:
https://ibb.co/jGGtaF

They seemed to vanish without a trace in the vacuum of the deep space, lending on the faraway "other wallet address". Hope devs knows what's it all about: I guess investors wouldn't like to see their real coins floating to the deep space without a trace :-) Best of luck with the testing!
This is the whole point in them releasing the test wallet in xcoin in the first place. Roll Eyes

So with these bugs in the wallet they will resolve in the final release of the minexbank. Smiley
Which should be and will be the only way to store these coins.
As this is why it is called "The bank"! Grin
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RLT][BOUNTY]🚀Signature & Avatar Campaign by SMARTPLAY▼TECH up to $35 per week on: July 14, 2017, 02:42:58 PM
Submitted my form, I hope i get Accepted  Grin
i have a question, will the payment be made in ETH or RLT?
and How much is 1 RLT worth in BTC?
Thanks  Smiley

The payment will be made in RLT and tokens can be used for trading on Livecoin or playing in roulette game. Current average price on the exchange is 0.00022 BTC.
Which exchange are the tokens on which they are valued at this price of 0.00022btc?
I tried to find them but did not see them available on any of the exchanges I am on.

Also are bctalk accounts with negative feedback allowed to join?
I don't see it being an issue as other alt coin signature campaigns allow it.
But just wanted to make sure before applying for this one once mine is done doing what they are doing first.
Because I did not see anything in the opening message on this thread inregards to the feedback status of the accounts who are allowed to join up for this campaign.

Thanks for any advise on this before jumping in this partnership with smartroulette/smartplay.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with tokens after launch? on: July 14, 2017, 11:14:18 AM
People who have responded already failed to mention the main reason why ICO tokens are so popular here:
The bounties which are given right before the sale of the tokens. Wink

Bounty hunters are the main reason these ICO are successful in the first place.

If not for them then their products would have never been known to the majority of the investors they rake in from the social media promotions and also the bitcoin talk signature campaigns they tend to run along side of the pre sales of their tokens.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 14, 2017, 02:59:52 AM
You do realize someone has created a clone ICO of yours and is cashing in on your name don't you? Embarrassed
With all the same timelines as yours such as the release of the coin to exchanges all the way to when the coin will be released.
They were hoping to just slide under the radar and get away with the 30btc they claim to have made so far running their ico sale for just a couple of days ending today.

How is this different from what every other token releasing an ICO has to offer? Embarrassed
They all seems to want to do a quick cash grab just like Bancor did with their flash sale. Roll Eyes
And look were they are now?
Alot of mad and piss offed investors who spent their bitcoin on that sale which lasted a couple of hours. Undecided
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 11, 2017, 02:53:49 PM
So some clear dates now. But just like before? Huh
June 22nd was the set date to have everything available to the investors.
But now you say July 17 OR 18th?
I think if you have a clearer date then you will have more TRUST in your announcements of it's anticipated release date(s). Roll Eyes
133  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICO ban for the US citizens on: July 06, 2017, 07:43:45 PM
Many of the ICOs which I participated were shunning away USA residents and anybody holding USA-issued passports. Maybe because they would not want to get entangled with possible legal battle with SEC or any government agency. It can be a big hassle if one day USA SEC would declare that ICOs are not legal. Right now, the SEC has not yet issued any solid pronouncement regulating ICO but we don't what can be in the coming months.

The boom in the ICO market right now is really attracting big and small participants and there is now a trend for niche business to also join the ICO bandwagon. But while this can indeed scam issuers, regulating ICOs can do more harm than good. What we need is a way to do due diligence so we can guide ICO buyers away from possible scams.

I know of only two so far which have blocked selling ICO's to US citizens:
Ethbits and SONM.

I don't think I have heard of any others which do not allow US registered citizens to hold their ICO atleast buy them during the Pre-Sales they weren't allowed too hold any of the title to their coins. Lips sealed
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MOST COMMMON METHODS HACKERS AND SPAMMERS USE TO STEAL BITCOINS on: July 06, 2017, 12:34:16 PM
Many people don't even need to be hacked. They're only too happy to give their bitcoins to total strangers for reasons I've never quite fathomed. You can never go too far wrong with the old if it's too good to be true thing.
Most of the time they have too much of it, just like every senior person who scammers tend to fleece into their web.
Because for some odd reason they think they are going to get something in return from their coins which are not doing anything with them for just sitting in their wallet. Undecided
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MOST COMMMON METHODS HACKERS AND SPAMMERS USE TO STEAL BITCOINS on: July 04, 2017, 07:05:54 PM
A common method is social engineering. Making people install something that looks harmless on their computer... Either that, or phishing via email.

I recently found out a way and stole 7.5 bitcoin. (I'm no proud of it, I just am a broke mexican).

Most likely fake. Anyways, red trust from someone it DT in 3, 2, 1...

Or more in the lines of asking for loans and without any intentions of paying them back.
Cause if they went to the bank in real life they would not get approved for one so they just go on the internet and look for some haphazard person to borrow from through you guessed it: Social Engineering them. Roll Eyes

Either that or just begs with multiple accounts they have created on various different websites.
Which is quite easy to do since they are free to register too.
Unlike some other website and forums where they charge their users to register just for the sole reason they create countless accounts such as this one with the sole purpose to scam with. Embarrassed
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: July 01, 2017, 07:32:29 PM
I downloaded the wallet. I registered with minexbank. I got test coins in my wallet. Passed the day, but in minexbank my balance is zero. How long to wait for test coins to appear in minexbank?
I see in the wallet Xcoin. I see in the minexbank MNX.

The dashboard create parking how many coins you want to park
Then for day or week
Then create and the coins Will show

Looks like the project is moving along very nicely now as with the parking problem they had I am guessing it was due to the minexexplorer not being available until just recently. So all interest on those parked test coins are able to receive payments and listed when completed tx id's on their test.minexbank accounts now.
So all looking good so far.
Unlike other projects which failed out of the gates since they rushed release without fully testing their own coins.
Just like what ethbits is doing right now with having to update all their tokens to be able to work properly,

Just let the minexcoin team do their work guys and just wait for a competent final product investors can use and be proud of to use! Grin

The coinmarketcap website does not lie!

$0.03 is being generous for it not being on any exchange so to dump them. Roll Eyes
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethbits Crowdsale (ICO) MORE THAN 13644 ETH RAISED ! on: June 24, 2017, 01:36:43 PM
Hello,

can anyone explain to me - I'm ETH/tokens noob.

I have some Ethbits on Cryptopia,
what should I do to create my own (desktop/mobile, but not some online wallet) wallet and withdraw tokens from Cryptopia?

Thanks in advance,
regards.

I re-post my question.

Best wishes.
Creat a wallet at myetherwallet.com and move your ethbits there.
I have a feeling that ethbits team run away.No response from them to serious concerns of investors
Ofc. Failed product.

they did asked their token to be upgraded though, if they were to scam then why go all these troubles and the whole lot of bullshit. they could have just runaway by now. no one yet has knew them even after them being on the coinfest.

seriosly? 2-3k dollars for posts on bitcointalk? wtf with developers? if they will pay that amounts to people projekt is allready death.

What's so special about that? Every new ICO give big amount of money to signature campaign members. Bitcointalk is a big marketing platform for them. Consider it as marketing expense. Minexcoin raised almost 300 BTC AFAIK, they can giveaway some coins to marketing. This doesn't make them a "dead" project.

the problem is they rised 300 btc and giving away 500 btc. amount of bounty reward is bigger then investition amount.

you're wrong. the acquired 2nd ico for the value of coin. they already have the 1st ICO in minexbank which if Im not mistaken sold about a million coins

This is what I heard too.
I was able to create an account on their first ICO jst before this closed.
It was at minecoin.org,
This is their 2nd ICO.
