121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Scamming Business is Booming! on: January 02, 2018, 07:08:04 AM
I wonder if there is a competition about getting scammed. I got scammed like 5-10 times already with Bitcoin.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: December 05, 2017, 05:13:39 PM
There is no way to advertise on TV right now. The network is already too congested. Fees are way too high right now.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to kill Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2017, 01:04:22 PM
If you want to kill Bitcoin I think the only way to do that is cut off the internet all over the world. But to cut off the internet all over the world you must be the best hacker all around the world cause I've never seen anyone can do that before or maybe something will happen and cut off the internet for a short term like War.
A good opinion and I totally agree with your opinion.
Actually it is impossible to kill bitcoin because the work is related to the internet, automatically if you want to kill bitcoin must disconnect the internet first new bitcoin killed, not only bitcoin killed but office work work was also killed because most office services use the internet now.
No internet then no bitcoin that's right. Killing bitcoin must destroy first the blockchain system but it is hard to do that, even government cannot destroy bitcoin what they can do is to only regulate or prohibit the use of it in its respective country.

There is no way to kill Bitcoin, sorry to disappoint you? A lot of people think miner's have power over the network, but they don't. First of all, you mean hashers. Those are the ones using computer power to solve proof of work problems. Miners are the ones the validate and construct new blocks, and this requires a full node. Not an SPV node, a FULL node!
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to stop ICO ? on: November 21, 2017, 02:36:31 AM
the truth is ICO will become some day a rather standard method of funding. These abnormal profits of ICOS tokens seen in recent period resulted from the overhype.
@phantasma19 is right, they become less popular if demand decreased, but I strongly believe the concept will never die.

During last several weeks have read and posted a lot about ICO and here is the opinion which sounds most reliable for me personally. If we want to regulate ICOs then there are hell lot of questions because a lot of ICOs putting effort in same direction. In fact during last several years I see more and more specific competitions between new projects and that's normal. If we shall have let's imagine governmental regulation for that, they can simply give the license to the representatives of fat cat and hold off perspective young newcomers. Still some countries, for my mind, with the very good developed competition and business infrastructure can apply some sort of centralized normative to several specific types of ICO. Some countries will ban it absolutely like China did. But the case of China is not ordinary country. You know that in some countries casino are allowed in some not. In some they are allowed only for foreign citizens (such an insidiousness). Also here we shall not see equal decision from different countries. But still - ICO really will become standard procedure for funding business projects in sphere of financial innovations and blockchain technologies.

ICOs are already slowly being stopped because regulators made public statements and they even provided framework for businesses to start legal ICOs. SAFTs is what they're called and it's one big load of bullshit, so what is even better scam wise are forkcoins where they literally copy the Bitcoin code and fork from it by adding a couple tweaks here and there to the source code.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: November 17, 2017, 07:37:13 PM
As per we can see the interest in bitcoin of people is increasing at a high rate...I believe it will be our future...but will the shoppingsites like flipkar, amazon be able to accept bitcoins?
may be in the next generation.......thanz fr reading

This seems to be true. Not only the fact that a big company such as amazon is try to consider it, but the fact that even the news have grown interest in it and made them felt worthy of making bitcoin a topic on their news.

Yes I am starting to notice this a lot right now. More people that used to dismiss bitcoin are now getting into it because it hasn't gone away and poeple are wondering why. The vast majority of the world still believes in FIAT and this is where a lot of the hesitation and walls being put up come from. Once they realize that it isn't backed by anything and that the Federal Reserve, a private organization, creates fake debt to benefit themselves at the expense of us, they will choose BTC and this is when the transition really happens.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help our community using bitcoins? on: November 10, 2017, 01:47:00 PM
We can help our communities using bitcoins by getting them to put their FIAT money into BTC and that is a way to start putting value into something that can't be changed, like the blockchain. It also can't be taxed in any way unless you're an idiot and declare you have BTC which you have absolutely no reason to do so as cryptocurrency is free speech because it's code.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are you buying and hodling? on: November 10, 2017, 02:42:18 AM
GRS - Groestlcoin is what I have my eye on because it has so many good features when it comes to privacy. They even just added the lightning network on the network so the coin has huge potential and I'm hearing that the coin has the developer skills to go double digits so it would be good to check them out. Just go to their site @.org there will be a choice of exchanges for you to choose from.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam on: November 08, 2017, 10:01:16 PM
Ethereum does equal scam!! Look at what it's value proposition, smart contracts, is doing. Not only did it hard fork because of the DAO, and not only did it breed shitty ICOs that are purely speculative, but it now had another smart contract problem with Parity where someone pressed the kill switch. Why is there even a kill switch!?? Should be dumb contracts, not smart.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surviving segwit2x hardfork on: November 07, 2017, 02:12:02 PM
You don't have to do anything to survive it except hold your bitcoins. Samourai Wallet will have fork detection, coin splitting, and an auto-dump feature by the time the fork rolls around so you can feel safe holding your coins in this wallet. Yes they are still in development but will be releasing 1.0 by the end of the year. It's an ever-changing beast, and you can check their code online as it's open source on Github.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: November 07, 2017, 03:07:21 AM
Bitcoin is really secure because of the amount of proof of work that has been performed on the network. Known as hashing, computers with high amounts of computer power solve algorithms that offer a reward to the computer which solves it by performing proof of work on it. There are, and have been huge computer farms hashing for BTC for many years.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Is Too Complicated for Average People! on: November 03, 2017, 07:09:31 PM
Bitcoin is not too complicated for the average person. It just depends on if that average person is lazy or not. I just made it out of high school in 12th grade and dropped out of college after two years, but that doesn't mean Bitcoin was complicated for me. I just did the research, and have been following it from almost the beginning. For newcomers it shouldn't be hard now because there is a TON of info out now, but before there wasn't much.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 29, 2017, 07:50:53 PM
I use wallets that are only connected to full-nodes and provide the most privacy features, so Samourai Wallet, GreenAddress, and Electrum are my favorite to recommend.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Once again,localbitcoin loots on: October 29, 2017, 02:01:43 PM
That is the fee you pay to the network to make sure your txn can never be tampered with or changed. This is normal with a web wallet like that because they don't have dynamic fee structures.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit 2X on: October 29, 2017, 01:34:08 PM
SegWit 2X is a fork of the Bitcoin Core code. This means they copied Bitcoin's code and tweaked a little bit of it and are trying to get support from greedy investors in the Bitcoin space.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much would a 1$ product cost in Bitcoins? on: October 29, 2017, 01:33:04 PM
It would depend on which currency that 1$ value is derived from, but that would be a lot of decimal places. That's why there is 1 million decimal points with a Bitcoin.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 12:58:38 PM
My plans with BTC are to store it and hold it for the long term while studying it and it's implications because I know it will be a part of the future so it's best to learn as much as possible while it's still new.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 29, 2017, 04:36:00 AM
Bitcoin isn't really great in college because it's not meant to be spent right now, it's meant to be saved so that doesn't mean you can't research it and look into buying some with your friends.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 28, 2017, 01:31:47 PM
Bitcoin will survive for as long as social interactions exist because that's what money is needed for and Bitcoin is the best form of money that will ever exist.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is bubble? on: October 28, 2017, 01:29:17 PM
A bubble is when you have a currency or asset with an unlimited supply, or a supply that is able to change, and the people that are using it are buying to sell not to hold.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not The Best? But... on: October 27, 2017, 01:26:05 PM
Bitcoin is 100% the best form of money that exists today. It is the best store of value, medium of exchange, and unit of account that is available today. Gold and Fiat are inferior.
