"Hardware with reasonable ROI?"
There's no more such a thing.
122  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: February 03, 2014, 11:36:12 PM
So,feb-march-april-maybe in may is 2 months Huh  Looks like 3 months at least if they do deliver by may 1st   Roll Eyes

The original ship date was the end of Feb not the beginning. No one ever expected to see shipping before the end of Feb, if you did you where completely oblivious. So you math is a bit off, April-May(be) is 2 months.
Has anyone ever shipped on time?
Seriously, has anyone ever shipped on time?

Actually yes, KNC shipped on time.

Absolutely great news!

Woud be nice to know turbo mode speed for Desk?
124  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 29, 2014, 01:08:26 AM
Chips are on the way and only dec batch should be delayed (includes also my orders)... big hit in lost rev., but I think we can't blame Bitmine as the delay was up to chip foundry. I trust Bitmine will deliver and fast when chips arrive.

Thank you for the update!

Anyone knows of someone planning to offer colocation for the coincrafts in Switzerland itself or in one of the neighbor countries i.e. Germany?

Cheers.

Bitmine offers hosting for 609 USD / month for 6 month (see pricing on their website) actually it seems not available / sold out

For those interested in hosting alternatives, we are based in Switzerland and we are currently setting up mining facilities. Will have more details in the following weeks.
Im interested in hosting at Swizerland for two CoincraftDesk units, but needs to be arranged before they deliver!

Thank you for the update. Sharing information is good, of course news are not so good, but if the delay is only around three weeks and your plan to ship a bit of extra hashing powers works, Im fine. I think everyone should have been aware that delays will be more than possible.

133  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 03, 2013, 05:08:42 AM
Read a few posts above, the price did not go up, the discount they offered from the full price went down...
I have followed Blackarrow since the very first post and was about to buy, but the first decrease on the discount and no tape out yet and March delivery (or whatever 24/2) & too strict wire requirements changed my mind some weeks ago in favour for another supplier. Orginal "discount" price $4499 or something like that was fine. However still following and possible buying later when they have taped out and delivered first miners.
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 03, 2013, 03:11:25 AM
I understand prices goes up with new product generations, but not with the same not yet confirmed technology / product company offers unless demand is so much ower the edge.
135  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: COINTERRA IS REAL -> NO SCAM!!! on: November 30, 2013, 04:24:50 PM
If you did so deep look in Cointerra, just please post some nice travel photos!
BTW Cointerra is real, just having fun with these "detectives". Beginning of KNC thread is also too fun for the same reason.

Hi Giorgio / Bitmine

I had a Reservation for a december Coincraft Desk.

Yesterday, after the Ddos attack it disappeared.

I want to pay it now, if the delivery is still in december.

Order: #1160

Thanks for reply
Same here, I think its now too late to try pay those early reservations. They are gone. Fortunately I have orders already in Smiley

138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC-e - £1500 Stolen on: November 28, 2013, 08:57:45 PM
When requesting a chargeback with my bank is it a good idea to mention the payment was for cryptocurrency? I ask because most banks have a very negative attitude towards Bitcoin.

EDIT: Looks like chargebacks are not possible from the UK for bank transfers, only credit cards.

Yes, wires / IBANs can not reversed in any country after the payment sent by the orginating bank.
