121  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BTC, LTC and AUTO Faucet Lists + 007 Auto DOGE Floodgates on: June 05, 2019, 09:17:51 PM
Thank you for putting the effort into this high-quality listing. Good sites and paying. The list is well put together and saves people time. Very detailed info I found useful thank you for this thread.

Btw on your faucet http://7vendoge.000webhostapp.com/ I click to claim and get to this link https://firefaucet.win/l/0TTkEMx and it says there is a threat. Why is it linking to another faucet anyway?
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 | Bitcoin Halving Explained on: June 05, 2019, 09:11:28 PM
...
Bitcoin halvings which have happened before always displayed far-reaching heights, hence the same is expected of the upcoming one.
...
The times that the price has risen dramatically do not coincide with a halving. Doesn't that indicate the price rises are unrelated to the halvings?

These facts contradict the story of the halving-induced price rises:

The price rise after the 2012 halving started about a year before the halving and ended with a bubble shortly after the halving

The rise to $1000 started six months after the 2012 halving, after a steep drop following the previous bubble. If you attribute the rise to $1000 to the halving, woulding you also attribute the fall from $200 to $70.

The price rise to $20000 started about a year before the 2016 halving and the price actually fell during the month after the halving.

You make a very good point, but we normally see a slight increase in the price about a week or two before the Halving event starts and that might be directly attributed to the media hype that are built before the event happens.

I think people give more credit than credit are due for this event having a significant impact on the price. The impact is much smaller and it only last about 2 or 3 weeks.  Roll Eyes

Logically, the price has to increase with the halving right?

Halving basically reduces the reward to the miners. If miners are rewarded less then there can be reduction of miners due to maintanince cost and other reasons which in-turn may increase the congestion.

Also, the price increases as the supply is less and demand is more. Halving by halving the supply reduces and demand increases thus, the price hash to increase.

This is as per my understanding. Please do explain if you have other side of looking into the halving.

It should do yes. It is strange how crypto goes though, what you think is sure to happen just doesn't. I am afraid not everyone is as logical as you and I. Predicting how these people influence the market is like a wild card honestly. I am trying to collect as much bitcoin as I can before the halving. I kinda wish the hlaving was held back since I want to build up my bitcoin stock ^^
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I read 250 comments of people saying what they learned from investing in crypto on: June 05, 2019, 08:54:17 PM
Crypto to crypto exchanges are not taxed. How? Cryptois issued by people to other people not by the government. There is no tax to pay. I wish people stop this. It's like you enjoy paying tax. If you a big believer in tax then by all means use fiat.

I was thinking of giving you a merit but im not sure of this is a copy taste and I was once fooled before and was annoyed for giving merits for a copy paste. I won't let it happen again.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what we can buy with bitcoin ?? on: June 05, 2019, 08:48:09 PM
There are more and more people using payment gateway since its very convenient and you can accept any supported currency bitcoin included. It costs nothing extra and adding one more ways to be paid sounds good to most people. Only a very silly person would not enable a certain payment method.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: June 05, 2019, 08:18:51 PM
I do not think Bitcoin is better than Gold and USD. Yes, Bitcoin is the most expensive and influential cryptocurrency of this period. Bitcoin preference is more than all the other crypto currency. Bitcoin acceptability is very high and it is increasing day by day. But it is better not to compare gold or USD with bitcoin. I saw many posts where Bitcoin is better than gold and USD. My point is that Bitcoin is the crypto currency, on the other hand, gold is one of the natural resources and USD is the real currency. So how is Bitcoin compared with gold or USD and is called Bitcoin gold and better than USD? Where Bitcoin Gold and USD are used in various different things and in different fields. Give your opinion.

Well, literally to be honest it is indeed better than gold and USD$. Probably, because of volatility of Bitcoin, though the reference value of Bitcoin was based on USD, but Bitcoin for me is not competing it anyway any form of business in online too. Although, if you are going to look at it literally, it has a similarity of ponzi scheme but the truth was not really actually.

Well if I walk down the road with either cash or gold I might get best half to death for it. Of I use credit card and bitcoin no one needs to know how much I have. I don't even kike the government to know how much money and asserts I have. It has nothingv to do with them and the fact they have access to all this info annoys me and is why I like crypto. Even if you rich you can have your finds frozen because apparently other people deserve more power over your money then you do. With bitcoin you cannot take it from me.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Bulls Near Exhaustion on: June 04, 2019, 07:32:20 PM
a bull run doesn't get "exhausted" just because it slows down and has a correction on the way upwards. it is good to zoom in the charts and look at the micro movements but you also should look at the bigger picture too. the bull run is just getting started and it is getting "warmed up" instead of being "near exhaustion"!

right now the market is just calming down for a couple of days to build up the groundfloor for the next batch of rises. and if nothing unexpected happens we can see $9k+ pretty soon in the next move up.

Even the bull must rest ^^ He is just resting that it all. He needs strength for fighting the bare and going on another rampage. Very angry bull lately. xD I
I think it will stay just under 10k for a while and shift slight a few hundred $$$ here and there.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed BTC? What will you do if your bitcoin get scammed? on: June 04, 2019, 07:18:26 PM
I was cheated once at the beginning of my work at bitcoin I was working on a site and asked me to deposit an amount I could not withdraw and when I made a deposit I could not withdraw my deposit

That is a classic scam. Then they keep the new deposit as well. Or they ask for your ID lol Such serious authority for a few $ xP

I was scammed when eth first started I opened a wallet on a site I didn't know I should have used mew and didn't even know what it was. Eth just came out and I opened one wallet on a website and you know you don't remember where you opened a wallet exactly, you just remember the address you look a the address so in the bounty form I added that address. Anyway, the pay was a  lot and I lost a few thousand $$$ I cried.
How can people do this to someone? Feels like decent people don't exist.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: June 04, 2019, 07:14:35 PM
I spend my bitcoin. Why would I use fiat? I go from fiat to bitcoin not the other way around. I have no interest with banking. I tried using a banking system the other day and holy crap how can people say crypto is confusing? I didn't even know where to go and nothing was clear. I had to add all these weird numbers and wait days for a transaction to another bank. From my bank to someone who also has an a ccount with my bank costs $4 and it doesn't matter the amount you move. I had to wait 2 days to have the pay clear then only I was sent what I ordered. I did the same with bitcoin I paid within an hour and the goods were already checked off as paid and ready to ship. So not only do I pay less fee and have a faster transaction I get what I order faster and sooner. I also once needed a refund. Do you know how easy it was? They just asked me for a bitcoin address they can send to and they just did it. Hours later I received my refund. You just can't compete with that.

How much more simple can it be though? You open your wallet press send then copy paste the address to send to and press send.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat (Real life test ) on: June 04, 2019, 07:04:44 PM
Rubbish. Wow you can make up stories hey. If you like fiat so much then use it. Stop using crypto. Sell it all and use fiat.

To start with. Why are you using an exchange that reports your transactions to the authorities in the first place? Now you have the radar on you, great job.
The next load of crap you talk is paying tax for the bitcoin. Please understand this. If I give you something you do not pay tax on it. Did you pay tax on the 25k fiat?? No!! Same with the bitcoin.
You only pay tax on bitcoin you transfer to fiat and make a profit off of it. You then pay capital gains tax on the profit. You don't pay tax on the whole 25k

Another thing is there is such a thing as a gift and you don't pay tax on it.

Otherwise, if we pay tax on every tramsaction then you can actually pay 99.99% tax. Take a million dollars and keep moving it around. According to you that million we become cents due to tax. You pay taxonce not with every transaction. You pay vat with every transaction. Dude seriously.... How can you not know this but you can afford 25k?
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Used Computer Equipment For CryptoCurrency Unsafe? on: June 04, 2019, 06:55:17 PM
This is very interesting and I feel I have something to add. I never knew about this but I read and was shocked. Did you know some pro gamers that play counter strike used their mouse to cheat?
They had an aimbot built into it. I don't know how I think it is pretty amazing even though its wrong. Now I would assume if a complex aimbot can be programed then something else can. However people don't go around selling second and mouses with key loggers on them. The counter trike cheat mouses are not like other mouses they have something or another that allows them to hold a program but they look like any other mouse.
Keyboards I guess you can do the same but I am pretty sure you have to mod the keyboard. I mean a keyboard is not a computer is cant process anything.

So dude basically I wouldn't worry about pc hardware it's fine. I buy all my hardware second hand and have never had an issue. I paid 1/3 the price for my gaming pc. I mined with it and everything.
Only people who want to do something and have a plan for it will mod a mouse or keyboard. So for example they will swap their modded keyboard or mouse out with another one in an office and hack like that.

Ram and USB drives have flash memory so no need to worry. RAM clears when it has no power.

The only thing I would never buy second hand would be hardware wallet. It just isn't worth it just to save a few bucks.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: - Show your support against power abuse in the Crypto Community - No more CSWs on: June 04, 2019, 06:47:16 PM
How serious should I take you? I am not being funny I asking straight forward. I like this idea. I wonder though do you have lawyers? Even at least one is good really?
How do you plan on investing the funds? What promotions do you run and campaigns will you run to promote yourself? If you all about fairness you could try help bounty hunters be appreciated properly by having them individually hired from ICO projects instead of random hoards of people that just want to dump. If you can fix that then that will level the playing field. Many projects can cheat the bounty and then the rich are truelly rich since they keep the stolen pay. I know you not talking about bounties in specific but I feel it is a huge thing in crypto today. People spend more on marketing and promoting then they do on their actual product or manufacturing process.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: June 04, 2019, 06:42:12 PM
I wouldn't bet on the history of how bitcoin behaved before. The adoption rate is higher then it was back then and there more holders now. When I invest in coins I do often look at the history and some are balanced so I stay with them. Those are not bitcoin however and have a lesser influence and that is why I feel you can rely upon them. Bitcoin is much too broad and honestly, think about it. Years from now there will be more holders thus the price will increase. What you collect at say a faucet some say its nothing, but who is to say maybe you claim cents at a time 5 years from now, fo not forget the first faucet gave out 5 whole bitcoins. 5 years from now 1000 Satoshi could be like a $1 or better.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins removes face to face cash trades on: June 04, 2019, 12:44:36 AM
I knew eventually they would shut down the meet and trade thing. Honestly, I was surprised it was even there meeting to trade lots of money worth of bitcoins looks dodgy I guess. I wouldn't want to deal with all that money like that. Then if not safety the money laundering thing. I'm not really surprised but I am surprised it remained for so long.

Crypto is privately issued anyway so government must go play with their fiat. There is nothing they can do. Nothing.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRTL] TurtleCoin - Cowabunga Dudes! on: June 03, 2019, 10:23:02 PM
If anyone need a web wallet here is one more option: https://trtlfun.com/

How can we know this is legit? It won't steal the coins? I only use official wallets I like to stay safe. Not having to sync is nice I like that and the site does look nice. Sometimes I just wonder how easy it will be for people to create a fake wallet.

Ready to dump! Sell it  Angry

Sell your TRTL and come crying in a few years because you shouldn't have.

It is actually a good time to buy.

Let them dump let them pass them off to you at a good price ^^

Turtlecoin(http://turtlecoin.lol)has been listed on BC.Game
You can get 5 TRTL for free

You are listing very good coins. That turtle coin I have only heard of now because of this post you made. I missed the train though when it was cheap. It has done very well. Maybe you can add the Ann thread link too?

136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: June 03, 2019, 10:08:30 PM
KYC is not meant to be for gambling. KYC is for big investments or legal authority, not a person who can be anyone sitting behind the pc? Anyone here can have a casino, even people in this thread.
If someone on the forum asks for KYC why won't you give it to them but you will to a casino or unknowns running unknown companies with intentions unknown?

Even the strongest of fortresses unpetrable. Each time you give KYC you expose yourself to risk with each time increasing.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: June 03, 2019, 06:50:02 PM
The OP is absolutely correct. There was a time when we regarded Ethereum as Bitcoin 2.0. But a few years later, we understand that it is not the technology, but the brand name which matters. Ethereum is more advanced than Bitcoin, as far as the technology is considered. But then, it is not the original cryptocurrency that was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Im a fan so I will stick with btc and eth. Seems some have no loyalty and that's exactly what we talking about when we say people are chasing the next bitcoin. What they really mean is the next thing that they can make a profit for. This means the absolutely miss the point of crypto entirely.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: June 02, 2019, 11:34:02 PM
I have always wanted to borrow and loan crypto for a profit but the problem is it will take a long time to break even and if you don't break even and the website you use goes away or is not there one day you try to login then you have a problem. Most sites do not tend to stay open for very long and we have seen these so-called investment sites are no more the elaborate Ponzi schemes. If there were more surety and trust then I would definitely want to earn interest on my crypto holdings.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming and It's Future on: June 02, 2019, 11:26:07 PM
One mobile you can check out laserchain which runs on the waves token and is called LSC and cryptogalaxy which runs on its own token and uses gala instead of gas and the token is zeepin ZPT.

In crypto galaxy you mine on a planet and you get gems you can sell on the market for gala. Is is fun check it out.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: June 02, 2019, 11:18:29 PM
ICO is just like a fundraiser crowdfunding type thing. I think there should be a better system in place for the tokens investors and these methods are still new so let us see how things will change if they do.
The reputation of ICO has been so bad that it is almost immediately linked to scam. Now that we have a more secure way of crowdfunding that is, IEO, investors would undoubtedly choose this. Maybe for another year, ICOs would be completely phased out.

You can even get ICO template with teams and everything ready-made for scamming. Legit projects could use bought templates but usually its scammers how do.
