Simple answer. Because it brings nothing new compared to Bitcoin. yaaaaawn, been hearing this bullshit since ltc was a 0.004-0.005. yet, it's still there and totally outperformed btc in 2013. and I guess it will do the same this year. just wait and see. |

imo could be less expensive to peg it to the dollar (since btc will keep rising) and also more stable for the merchants. eventually if the bitcoin keeps rising they will have to move up the peg, |

let me have a guess: the stabilization fund will peg maxcoin at 0.6-0.65$, or 100k satoshi. in order to push the price up there the fund will probably need to buy something between 5M-10M coins (on top of the 5 M max and friends already have) at avg price of 30 cents, so top expenses to push the price up there: around 3M.
there are 25M coins around, if the market doesn't believe in this project everyone will dump every last coin at that price (so let's say the remaining 15M coins or 9M$). total cost would be around 10-12 M dollars. but it will position maxcoin in the top 10, giving visibility and potentially acceptability.
it would be a big mistake to announce the peg before buying the coins on the market, cause it'll end up paying the peg price for every coin, for this reason I believe the squeeze to bring the price at target it's going to happen before any announcement.
let's see what happens, it would be a very interesting experiment. I wish all the best.

good, looking forward to see that up. I don't use facebook any onger, it's a crappy social for kids and idiots, but it's the most used. Why doesn't someone try to build a specific app for other social? fedora could be the best coin to be used around: it's still cheap (dogecoin is not) and at this stage with fair distribution and no manipulation on the protocol could deliver some results. take advantage over reddcoin which is failing miserably after the pos transformation and the stupid velocity thing they introduced. just my two cents

at least there still a chance to get back 20% of gox funds thanks to the 200k btc mysteriously found, will kumala ever find somewhere the 100k ltc which are still unaccounted for?
REMEMBER: he never told WHEN and HOW he lost these 100k ltc in 2014. (only 25k ltc were missing in 2013).

Hi guys, I'm trying to withdraw ANC from Cryptsy since two days without success. I receive the below message (for a deposit too): Our wallet is offline while we update to the latest version. It should be back online soon.I sent a message to their support and they told me that they will solve this issue as fastest as possible. Vircurex has very few transactions per day. Coinex is almost died. We need ANC on Mintpal or another big exchange place! I just created an account on Mintpal to start some few trades that will allow me to send one vote per hour to ANC. If everyone gets going, maybe we will see ANC on Mintpal in the future  apparently the wallet has been updated, I tried to withdraw, it went through, I have a TXID, but transaction is not showing up yet in the blockchain (been over 4 blocks since withdrawal). wrote to support.. waiting for an answer. |

I was foreseeing big troubles for this coin long time ago when it was well over 15 litoshi. unfortunately I have been proven right, this has gone well beyond my imagination. 4 satoshi, amazing, we can call it dead I'm afraid. I'm losing quite a bit, but what can you do, i knew the risks just didn't expect the devs to be so behind the curve (as compared to reddcoin for example). amen.

you should bring fedora on mintpal in the ltc market, not many coins in that market, and tips is one of the few that only trades against ltc. did you try to get in touch with the guys who run the exchange? through voting it'll never gets there, but try to submit to their attention this unique feature of TIPS (high volumes on the ltc market since it only trades there) and they might accept it.
