I believe you run the Adalso.com network?

I recently placed Adalso ads on my faucets and am wondering if this will be affected. Thanks.
122  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆POLL☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 29, 2016, 08:38:32 PM
Today I see some new faucet on Mellow Ads and I try to click it, add is opened normally without error.I check Mellow on your faucet and now is working.Maybe this error has something to do with site which is advertised or someone read our comments and fix the problem.

I read that Mellow pay much less than before,do you try BitMedia maybe?

I'm glad Mellow Ads is finally working normally. As for BitMedia, I think I applied to them and got rejected shortly after I created the first faucet. I'll probably apply again since my Alexa ranking has improved significantly.

I've been winning 225 satoshi rewards for last few days, and i noticed that you have more than 102% chance in there.

225 (95.6%), 500 (5.1%), 1000 (0.7%), 5000 (0.3%), 10000 (0.1%), 50000 (< 0.1%), 75000 (< 0.1%), 100000 (< 0.1%) satoshi every 60 minutes.

Can you update faucet with real rewards and odds?

cheers

Thanks for jumping in here, Lucius. Yes, the numbers listed on the site don't add up. Another member also pointed this out on the thread a few pages ago (and I believe he uses FaucetBOX as well, so I'm surprised he didn't know).

If you scroll down to the faucet FAQ section, I post the true percentages in the table.

I guess there's no real way for me to prove to you or anyone else that these percentages are bugged, other than providing screenshots and trying to explain it. I'm sure somewhere in the official FaucetBOX thread there's an answer from the creator, but I don't have the time right now to look.

Sorry for any confusion Sad

Also, winning 225 consistently without any higher rewards is just a bad run I suppose since the payouts are purely based on RNG. Winning 100k (10,000:1 odds) will be difficult, but it's still a possibility and has happened many times before considering I'm at almost 600,000 payouts for this past month alone.

In the interest of transparency, here are the numbers from my admin page:

I'm running an honest operation and still have plans to expand in the future. If anyone else has comments, questions or concerns, feel free to post them here and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

As always, I wish my users the best of luck and hope you hit the big one Smiley

Wow, this has not been a good week for faucets... Embarrassed

Another one of my favorites gone! I'm sorry to hear about dishonest users taking advantage of your site. I believe in karma and it will eventually come back around to them.

It's unfortunate that people can't play by the "rules" and have to try to cheat every system that comes around. I guess that is human nature and things aren't likely to change.

Well... you ran a very good & rewarding faucet. I wish you all the best.
124  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: DonaldCoin group is down : Adsense lost on: August 28, 2016, 08:16:08 AM
Wow, I'm very sorry to hear that! DonaldCoin and the rest of your sites were some of my favorites! I've actually learned a lot from you regarding my own faucets.

I hope you'll be able to find a "solution," but know that loyal users will never think of your sites as scams.

I really wish you the best of luck and will keep checking on my end Smiley

I think that your faucet completely okay, because they deserve 1 and 2 place in my list https://ccurrency.wordpress.com/bitcoin-list/ It would be good to you have another faucet in other crypto currencies.

Very nice site Smiley

Thanks for featuring my faucets. I plan on making some other types (LTC, Doge, etc) in the future, but still need to work on the two I have up and get them where they need to be.
126  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆POLL☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 27, 2016, 08:19:29 PM
Thanks for the feedback, guys. It looks like "Medium" is winning so far Wink

I've seen other faucets makes some really creative anti-bot puzzles, which even people who don't speak English too well might have an easier time solving. Seeing how most of my traffic is from Europe, I have to really take that into consideration, but I'm not sure how popular English is around the world nowadays Huh Huh

Trump is dipping below 8k.

We need some high energy news or buy support imo.

Nice clean faucets. I added them to my bookmarks Smiley
129  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 26, 2016, 08:43:51 PM
Not so sure, I used to do it, till a member here, pmd me and told me not to multiple click at the same website, as google has ips for those that are clicked on.

So I did stop helping out, which is a real shame, and to top it off, those websites and others got banned for invalid clicks.
Was I ever counted as invalid, maybe but you never know, some others asked for clicks, they too have gone, one in particular blackmailed users to click or no payment will be made, he never paid out near the end... he was puddled in the head for asking such things.

Edit voted medium at the poll.

Wow, that's just crazy. So, Google does keep track of IPs and they hold publishers "responsible for all traffic."

If someone comes along, likes your site and wants to support it by clicking and visiting ads regularly, in theory there's a chance Google will ban you for invalid multiple clicks from the same IP even though it's totally out of your control as a site admin.

It all just seems bitter-sweet: you want people to visit your ads (through organic means, of course), but at the same time you don't really want someone sitting there clicking a ton of times without having any interest in viewing the ad content due to the chance your account might get banned for "invalid traffic." So as an extra layer of defense, one might be forced to blacklist the IPs who have been SUPPORTING your website! <-- I don't think I could ever do that, tbh.

What a mess when it comes to ads nowadays, lol...
130  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 26, 2016, 08:28:45 PM
I've seen a few people complain in other forums about the difficulty of the anti-bot links (particularly for non-English speakers).

I added a new poll to the thread. Please vote when you have a moment Smiley
131  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 26, 2016, 08:19:47 PM
As for any with Ad-sense  thats a no for me, as I have ad-sense my self, and could quickly get banned for clicking on others adverts.
They would give me warning first I think, I had a faucet link with a naughty coin picture on the java link, they suspended my adsense  until I removed it.
Back to normal now.

I've been clicking on AdSense links while visiting other faucets to help support them. Since that ad code is directly tied to their accounts, I don't think it would jeopardize my own, right?

But I can see how one would want to be extra careful; Google seems a bit temperamental when it comes to their ad network.

Hi soulreafer. This has been going on for a couple of days now, but I can't withdraw my winnings. Here is what happens every time I try:

My BTC address is 3LxSZ6TLh9jchaE8Jv6f4TFtkGiGPDf7Xx

By the way, I love your faucet Smiley
133  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 25, 2016, 09:18:42 PM
I understand you and support you. I know how hard it's to keep high rewards on faucet and get enough revenue. Hope these changes will help get profit.

Thank you for the support, LTU Smiley

Your move is entirely justified,if profits can not keep track with payments something must be done. But still the rewards are very good and 60 min for claim is not bad.I hope ad revenue will improve in future, but people just not like to click ads too much.

Regarding ads I try to click on Mellow Ads and Firefox give me this message on your faucets and in many others.I do not know if this is linked with the individual ads or it is some error in browser or with Mellow.

Thanks for your understanding & support, Lucius.

As for the Mellow Ads error, I did a quick search on it and it seems to only happen on Firefox when there's a SSL issue, server-side. I'm guessing maybe Mellow Ads itself has a SSL problem (expired certificate?).

I don't use SSL on either faucet, and since you're experiencing the same thing elsewhere, it seems to be centralized to MA. Also, I asked a friend to test while using another browser and it seemed to go through okay.

The good news is there are "other" ads up on each site Cheesy

Thanks again, all!
134  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 24, 2016, 07:59:57 PM
When doing some changes there is always the possibility that something will not work properly afterwards so this is risk you must take.I see you always trying to improve your faucets, and with work there are always some small problems.

Today I get 500 satoshi two times,on your faucet is easier to get 500 satoshi then on some that pay such reward, but they are usually without funds most of the day.

Yep, just proves I need to do testing everytime after I make any significant changes (especially when implementing new code). Congrats on your 500 sat wins Smiley

Announcement

I've been monitoring the total reward payouts for the past couple of days and, as expected, they have increased dramatically. Unfortunately, ad revenue has not kept up.

So, what I am going to do is keep the reward amounts the same, but increase the collect time to 60 minutes. This will be happening either today or tomorrow, so continue to collect your rewards every 30 minutes while it lasts!

I understand this is a somewhat drastic change, but since I am putting my own personal cash into feeding the faucets, it is necessary for me at this point.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of LeakyBitcoins Faucets!
135  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 23, 2016, 09:15:51 PM
I made few claims today and everything is working without a hitch. It is nice to see that any problem is solved very quickly and there is always notification on both faucets so users know what's going on.

I claim 500 satoshi few times on both faucets and today one of claims is lucky 500 Smiley

Wow, great to hear about your wins!

I was a little worried about the problem earlier because it was an intermittent issue. I finally discovered it was being caused by some javascript I installed on both faucets. Just hope nothing similar happens again because I was a bit puzzled at first Sad
136  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 23, 2016, 04:36:05 AM
Everything seems to be working now. Please post here, send me a PM or email leakybitcoins@gmail.com if you're having issues. Thanks.
137  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 23, 2016, 02:33:05 AM
I hope so, Smiley. By the way i notice that the captcha today is hard to read  Grin , I got wrong captcha type many times,   Grin

It looks like there might be an issue with collecting rewards right now. I'm going to put up a notification on both sites and investigate.
138  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ☆UPDATE☆ [ANN] LeakyBitcoins.com: The Simple Bitcoin Faucet with HUGE Rewards! on: August 22, 2016, 09:05:50 PM
Excellent news for both faucets,225 satoshi min reward is very high for 30 min claim and as you say it is 900 satoshi every hour. Also very nice increase in referral commission. It only means that the users will even more use and promote your faucets Smiley

Regarding reward payout percentages, this is know bug from FaucetBOX and many users complaint about these issue/admin panel show one data and faucet show slightly different.

Keep up the good work Wink

Cool, thanks Lucius. Now it's just a matter of monitoring my revenue flow from ads, etc and seeing how many rewards are being paid out. I've noticed the more traffic I get, the harder it is to balance the two, but I hope the increased rewards will "pay off" in the long run.

When it comes to the payout percentages, I kinda figured something was going on. It just sucks because the people who use LeakyBitcoins, and don't check this thread, think the minimum payout percentage is higher than it is (even though not by a lot).
139  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW UPDATE - Flapmmo added - the Flappybird mmo Faucet Game - Btcgamester.com on: August 22, 2016, 11:04:15 AM
Cool site Wink

I'm currently the flap champion with a high score of 12, lol.
140  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how to set own password in faucetbox? on: August 22, 2016, 09:54:43 AM
For more security you can disable the admin panel in config.php

Code:
$disable_admin_panel = true;

ps: it's not the "Admin panel" link, it's the admin panel, so you can re-upload the file again with 'false' instead of 'true' when you need to view/edit something..
