121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✨✨✨ FOMO: Fear Of Missing Out Is Driving Bitcoin Prices ✨✨✨ on: December 14, 2017, 01:55:58 AM
Janet Yellen was asked about it twice today during her final fed meeting. She did say people may lose a lot of money but it does not pose a threat to the financial structure at this point

It doesn't pose a threat to the financial structure at this point due to all the FUD and misinformation that the mainstream media puts out to the masses concerning BTC and other cryptos. The ignorant don't know the scope of how blockchain is changing our lives and how the cryptocurrencies are facilitating that. Banks and Governments classify cryptos as commodities and play that tune to the institutional investors hoping they won't see cryptocurrencies for what they are, and evolution of fiat currency which will make fiat obsolete.

what have you worked on in the past? Which projects? What are your qualifications? What skills do you have?
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last Time To Sale Your Bitcoins And Get Good USD Grab on: December 11, 2017, 05:50:38 PM
OP, why not use Bitcoin for its intended purpose...as a currency and not an investment? Why not use it in stores and buy things with it? It's supposed to be a currency not a fiat exchange investment. Go to www.cryptofunds.online if you're confused and see some examples of where you can purchase things with BTC.

yeah  i think the lowest price it could reach is 13500$ for tomorrow  Smiley
I doubt, Bitcoin is full of suprises. Don't forget that Bitcoin Futures launches on 18th December. That's when it could spike or go low.

This happened yesterday as well when the site crashed and BTC continued going up unphased by the hype.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin ever be Mainstream? on: December 11, 2017, 05:47:02 PM
Bitcoin and other coins are being used in stores worldwide. I don't know where you're getting your information, but you should be more aware. There are even major companies, i.e. Paypal, Overstock, Newegg, that accept Bitcoin and even some alts depending on the store. Education and awareness are key. Try looking into www.cryptofunds.online to see more information.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alphabay recovery on: December 10, 2017, 11:01:59 PM
Wasn't Alphabay taken down by the US FBI? What are you trying to recover from there, your BTC? I'm pretty sure it's in a FED wallet somewhere and you won't be able to recover anything.
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslims projected at 7.4% to 14.0 of the EU population by 2050 on: December 10, 2017, 10:55:46 PM
Well if people in those countries want to be Muslim, what does it matter? As long as they keep laws in place for the democratic majority of the country the religion of individuals shouldn't matter. Now, if this is alluding to the arabic migration of peoples from war torn countries then that is a different discussion.
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why schools do not teach about the genocide of the African and American peoples? on: December 10, 2017, 10:48:38 PM
First off, history is written by the victor. To keep that in mind I agree that the truth of history should be taught in all schools today not just those of European descent. The Aztecs were brutal and did kill most, if not all, their neighbors for slaves. The African tribes killed, sold, and kept in slavery members of other tribes as well as Europeans. Arabs did the same. Europeans did the same. When the Europeans came over to the American continent they had diseases that they were immune to but the natives were not. This spread unintentionally amongst the populace killing millions. They did even use it as a weapon when realized. Keep in mind history is brutal and violent on all sides of history.
129  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people want easy money scaming other people? on: December 10, 2017, 10:43:32 PM
It would be nice to see a world where people display their inherent goodness. But in a world where greed rules I doubt we would see it anytime soon. So the balance has to be made in order to survive and part of that is education to look out for those that would scam.
130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: if government permits, will you going to kill someone because of anger? on: December 10, 2017, 10:41:57 PM
I seem to remember that there was a movie about this...where for 12 hours the government would suspend all emergency services and you could do anything you wanted. But I digress....to answer the question, no, to do things in emotion is always a bad idea. You have to be logical and think about the consequences, intentional and not, to your actions of killing. Also, the act of killing does change a person.
131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Resource Based Economy on: December 10, 2017, 10:38:45 PM
This concept was tried out in history before, and it failed. Humans, right now, aren't trained to be community serving and are inherently greedy. Therefore communism won't come about in its true form in societies today. There always has to be someone in charge. That someone will always find ways to corrupt the office/position to his/her own ends and for those around him/her.
132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: should I insert my bitcoin wallet seed here? on: December 10, 2017, 10:09:11 PM
well if you want to put your seed into a website, why not post it here?

This is obviously a scam.
133  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest Your Bitcoins To Offline Business! on: December 10, 2017, 09:42:45 PM
Well at least for the communities edification, the OP also has tried the Bitbond route for his business recently.

https://www.bitbond.com/listings/4K4T21GBQ8

Have yet to see if OP will pay back on time for this loan that was listed, but at least the OP has tried different options since the first post here looking for loans. If OP does try again at least they are trying different avenues for loans. Again, we'll see if OP is trying to scam with the loan taken out on Bitbond at the beginning of the year.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 10, 2017, 09:22:49 PM
If I've gotten enough to play with what I've earned, yes I'll take out what I went into it with and play with a portion of what I've won and that's it. If I end up losing that to the house, well then I've gained some over them and I'm good at not losing what I walked in with.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: December 10, 2017, 09:20:57 PM
If you are earning BTC you should keep earning it. Betting to raise your net worth in any currency is a bad idea for your earnings. Betting/Gambling is only for the extra monies that you have to have fun, not to gain an income from. If you do hit/beat the house then good for you, don't think you can keep doing it. Just my 2 sats.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 10, 2017, 09:18:54 PM
You need to learn to stop when you make the initial "win" against the house. After that you need to pull out and take your winnings and go. From there if you want to gamble again, then go a different time after your psyche has cooled off from the win that you have pulled off.
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are banks putting up with crypto trading? on: December 10, 2017, 08:07:20 PM
In the UK no crypto business has a bank account. I think this is primarily because there's no regulation so they can't be arsed to try and interpret laws that might bite them on the arse in the future. There's also the likelihood that they don't like crypto too of course.

In other places I assume it's kind of similar yet there are enough places that do have banking.

Many of these banks must now be taking in and sending out billions per year in crypto business. Considering the ball ache and potential future implications, why are they still tolerating it? It's business of course, but there's plenty of other business out there that's less trouble.

Whether we like it or not, Bitcoin and friends at present is largely dependent on company banking. They know perfectly well they can put a lid on it by cutting off bank accounts and your average exchange has no leverage over them. Why isn't it happening more often?

The good thing about this is there are businesses out there that are accepting crypto directly for their services. This is going up daily. The banks not accepting crypto to fiat transfers is a business decision that they have there in the UK. I don't think the banks have the power to kill the crypto community and they realize this. With that realization they are probably trying to figure out how to capitalize on cryptos and continue their business model that they have had for a few hundred years.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Threat to Crypto Currencies on: December 10, 2017, 07:59:39 PM
At the moment, I don't think a ban on crypts or bitcoin is going to be total (if at all it will come ) , this is because bitcoin is decentralized and distinct countries have started looking for accepting it because it would assist there economy when they invest on it.

Yes there are many countries planning for blockchain technology and their own crypto currency and the first one to officially announce that is Venezuela as their government is planning for crypto named "Petro" and once this will be successfully implemented i believe other countries who are looking to recover heir economy and get rid of debt will adopt same. All they need is more awareness and showcasing the benefit of crypto coin for both the normal civilians and the government as well.

I agree that many countries are trying to experiment to bring their fiat into crypto and run with that. I also agree that it would get a lukewarm reception from the community at large and only newbies and uninformed would buy into it. Though I was unaware that Venezuela was planning on putting theirs out so soon. I don't see that taking off as quickly as they think, if not fall flat on their face since the Bolivar is worth less than WoW gold. I know Canada tried to get their currency on crypto a while back and it failed miserably. Something that I've been keeping my eye on and something that governments would want to keep their eye on would be cities putting out their own crypto. That could be a long way off, or not. But if that happened cities would/could gain considerable power over the state since some major cities of the world have an economy rivaling some countries.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Insuring your investments in ico, what do you think? on: December 10, 2017, 07:50:32 PM
So what are you proposing, to buy insurance for an ICO? Why would people do that instead of an escrow service that could be provided for the ICO? That would be more attractive than an insurance scam in my opinion.
140  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-11] Forgotten Wallet Passwords? Hypnosis the Answer on: December 10, 2017, 07:36:18 PM
Well, this can be one of the newest industry to profit good in the boom of cryptocurrency. I am sure people will do anything possible just to recover lost passwords as the wallet can never be accessed without them not unless a person happens to be a very talented hacker. I would then following this story if there would indeed be people who can get back their Bitcoin using this service. Browsing this forum, there are people asking how they can recover their lost password maybe we can then refer those people to this hypnotism service. Now, am booking a flight to Russia!

Hypnosis has zero basis in fact, it's a stage-show trick performed by actors. Hypnosis has never been been proven scientifically, it's total nonsense.

But there are plenty of people out there that would be willing to pay extraordinary amounts to the hypnotist to try to recover the key for them through their methods. This will start a new business niche for (scammers) entrepreneurs out there.  Cheesy
