121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful where you connect your wallet on: April 07, 2024, 06:19:52 PM
A master piece of negligence. How can you connect to a Third party not knowing what impact it will have on your crypto wallet or assets. Now he is saying that he is done with crypto it's not at all the fault of the wallet owners or the crypto space It's 100% the victim's fault. You have to be solely responsible for every piece of act you do on your phone.

The best way to ignore these kinds of mishaps is to have a spare phone in which you don't do such types of things. That phone will only be used for trading purposes not for a single thing out of trading. Especially if you're investing that much of the amount you need to go for a spare phone it's very important.
A lot of people do this thing, they even blame the market when they lose money on a trade, lol. What does the market have to do with your decisions? The market never asked you to buy a certain cryptocurrency at a certain price and then sell it when the price is lower than the price you've bought it for, it's you who takes these decisions and you are the one who is responsible for the outcome.

Similarly, when people lose money from hacks and exploits where they click a phishing link or connect their wallet to a third-party website or service which is what happened in this story, they don't think of their mistakes but start blaming cryptocurrencies or the wallets for it. I mean, are you in your senses?
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: April 07, 2024, 03:38:23 PM
It is said in the title that when a gambler becomes emotional, it often happens that there is no chance for us to win a lot of money gambling. We are here to say that even a gambler wins, but only a small amount, and most of them lose in the end for sure.

That's why, as gamblers, we must know how to read the situation when we play gambling. These situations or circumstances that we always lose in every bet we make show that we should not continue betting first; instead, we should rest first, stop, or just come back on another day or occasion.
Having control over emotions can only make a gambler lose less in the long run, but when we talk about earning money from gambling, that should be taken out of the equation because it is simply not possible for one to earn money from gambling unless they are extremely lucky and manage to hit a jackpot or something and win a significant amount for the first time they gamble and then stop gambling after it, but that doesn't happen very often.

When a person gambles for gains, they are wasting their time and money because, at the end of the day, they won't get anything in their hands. However, if a person gambles for fun and entertainment while having limits and a budget, they are usually under control and have good control over their emotions.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 06, 2024, 03:51:03 PM
Does this concern you ?
No, it doesn't concern me mostly because I don't keep my funds in exchanges other than the capital that I used for trading and when I'm not trading, I take it out and keep it in a wallet where it's safe. It should be a concern for people who keep all their assets in an exchange platform which is a wrong thing.

Exchanges serve a different purpose, they are not wallets and they aren't supposed to be used as wallets. If one needs a place to store their assets so that they stay safe, they need to use a non-custodial wallet for that purpose instead of using an exchange platform no matter how reputable it is. Use an exchange only for trading and not for storing your coins because anything can happen at any time.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024 on: April 06, 2024, 05:21:23 AM
My personal assumption is 70K GBP (88K USD / 82K EURO), I may be pessimistic with my assumption but the risk management side of myself sees this as achievable.

In all honesty i'm unsure on the talk surrounding 79K GBP (100K USD / 92K EURO)
That's too far to make a guess on. Bitcoin has already set a new all-time high earlier last month, and it's all set to break that record once there is a bit more buying pressure in the market and that is likely to happen once we go across the halving event occurring on the 19th of this month.

So, you can only expect Bitcoin to go as high as $88k by the end of 2024 if you think it isn't going to gain much momentum after the halving and we won't be able to see much growth afterward, because based on what has happened so far, Bitcoin should easily be able to set a target for the next cycle above $100k. It's pretty stagnant at around $70k at the moment, a bit of more pressure and it will break through and set a new all-time high once again before the halving.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 05, 2024, 04:09:03 PM
It would be a shame if Xabi managed to get a treble winner this season and had to leave Leverkusen next season, it would be detrimental to himself because he should be able to increase his popularity at Leverkusen by qualifying for the UCL next season, if he succeeds in bringing Leverkusen through to the important round. in the UCL will certainly increase his popularity even higher and will make big clubs look at them with high fees, Xabi must see that potential and not be too hasty in leaving Leverkusen.
It would be really silly if it happened, Leverkusen became strong because of how Xabi strengthened his squad so excellently that this season finally achieved a very surprising achievement. And he also has to win Leverkusen in the UCL cup next season, this is increasing because this season they are only in the UEFA Europe League. And it proves that Leverkusen is able to compete with the top clubs in Europe.

And it looks like Xabi will still be in Liverpool. As in the news, Xabi Alonso finally gave a statement that he would stay at Leverkusen next season. This made several big clubs who wanted this coach quite disappointed. Among them are Liverpool and also Bayern Munich. Xabi is one of the best coaches this time, in fact, in my opinion, he is the best this season. Therefore, it is not surprising that many big clubs want him.
There are mix reaction about having details Xabi Alonso is going to stay here at the Bayer Leverkusen for another season because mostly were expecting things will be take change, and he will be also go for the Liverpool or Bayern Munich even few were expecting for Barcelona, but his decision is good and surely this will make things positive for both parties with because he will also be having more experience and his entry into Champions League will also give him new dimensions and Bayer Leverkusen will be also able to have some good things which will make them stronger for having good competition with Bayern Munich in coming years.

Now we are having too many clubs those are looking for the coaches and many coaches are going to be had life without any job which will surely make things interesting, but we have to wait for the few weeks then all will be clear about how things will be take changes and how we will have clubs with new coaches.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Existing/established altcoins or new ones? on: April 05, 2024, 02:12:23 PM
I would prefer both as I would like to diversify my portfolio. If I am looking for good profit from the market I would allocate funds accordingly depending on the hype, the narrative and what is trending. I know it is not that easy to do it but for good profit a little bid of hard work and a lot of smart work is required.
It is still possible to diversify on one category only, preferably the established coins, we already know why and its name says it all (established). They are a go-to for those who want to earn a good profit and a much guarantee one. Hypes, narratives and trends sounds the same, and riding their waves are very risky, so they are not worth it. Knowing if which coins are among those category is still easy because they are in the headlines.

Being smart might play a role here because we can search for the origin of those coins in order to become an early bird at them but it's still tricky as some might only be a scam and manipulators will ensure they can only or mostly benefit.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on the market right now? on: April 04, 2024, 05:18:33 PM
I want to stock up on alts for the spot now. What do you think, should I buy now or should I wait?
If you have altcoins in mind and you're confident about those altcoins, then maybe you can enter now, but still, it will depend on what your views are in their markets, because truly now altcoins are also moving in a good way because of the movement of the mother coin, which is bitcoin, but still, there is a risk as it is an altcoin. Maybe you could do DCA in those coins just to be sure and not put all your funds in one coin and one buy only.

Also, focus only on a few or just two altcoins; it's hard to maintain or monitor if you enter in many coins; it will divide your attention, and maybe you will lose track of some of your coins. It's better to handle a few coins than too many; fewer means you can focus on those coins and maximize the potential profit that you will need.
He won't come up with such a thread if he don't have an interest in altcoin. He might still be new here and excited. We can also say that he is confident but it is still better to wait for a much better entry. The market may be correcting now but there might be more to come because we are not yet on the halving and on the actual bull run. Another set of corrections will take place once both events are over, so we can choose to sell during them and gain some profits because it takes a long time for us to see them again. It was on the next 4 years, to be specific. Aside from the fact that a bunch of alts will be hard to manage, many of them are also weak and scams, so there is no point on having them.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 04, 2024, 01:55:06 PM
70+75 meters Straight, 65 meters square boundaries are not small per se but modern batters can clear it quite easily. Dead pitches also help it as batters can time the ball ridiculously well. The problem comes when you deliberately shorten the boundaries to 60 meters (straight), luckily it stopped in the IPL and you hardly see 60-meter boundaries, unless you are using side pitches (one side boundary becomes way too small like it's a woman's cricket).

You can't solve this short boundaries problem in existing grounds because stadiums are small but there should be enough space in new grounds for 80-90 or even 100-meter boundaries (Straight).
While teams are playing in New Zealand and South Africa we have never talked about short boundaries but here usually things gone in this way I am not well aware about what are the rules about this, but we need to be had 70 meters minimum boundaries for men cricket because it is important and surely can do good for them having small boundaries are surely never been ideal situation and on existing grounds doing this is more problematic for the boards.

But, we still need some good specific rule from ICC about this because I watch few matches recently in different countries, and we have many small boundaries even in few we have nearly 55 meters which are surely not good for the men cricket specially while you are playing on dead pitches and bowlers are surely praying for hell instead of playing on pitches and conditions like these.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 03, 2024, 05:15:34 PM

The winner of this game will go to the final, who will win this game?
It's quite certain that Al-Hilal will maintain their unbeaten record, especially as they have the opportunity to win several titles this season, and all their players are in fit condition, there is no news that anyone is injured apart from Neymar Jr.
Al-Nassr will definitely not give up easily, especially for Ronaldo who is very excited to be able to get his first title after becoming a player at this club, and if they make it to the final the opportunity to win is wide open because their potential opponents in the final can be said to not be as good as their performance this season, but the semifinals will be their most difficult match in the Saudi Super Cup.
This semifinal match will be much more balanced than other semifinal matches because Ittihad FC vs Al-Wahda have quite different strengths, so Ittihad has a very big chance of getting to the final and waiting for the Al-Hilal vs Al-Nassr match.
Al Hilal is doing amazing stuff with their current performance is historic and things are going like they will be going to have treble at the end of this season even Al Nassr is also going to give his best as they are already out of the AFC Champions League with their chances are not good for win of the Saudi League so they have only this last hope in this season for winning any trophy both teams are currently at their best and any result can happen but Al Hilal is having complete package which is giving them good advantage so just because of this I am also feeling they will be having better chance for the win of this game and Super Cup as well.

As of now, they are having 34 matches winning streak which is clearly amazing stuff from them and in coming weeks they will play against Al Khaleej which is also good side with no lost in last six games now this is going to be interesting for them while can they keep their winning streak with they are going to face Al Khaleej and then Al Nassr it is interesting for them and their fans.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Solana on: April 02, 2024, 02:05:32 PM
to be honest OP should understand his own risk appetite whether fast paced investment is of his interest or is it slow paced investment but will yield a more sure reward at the end of the investment.
solana so far as I've seen from it's chart has been showing massive growth but this could also means two thing, solana already reached its peak and will probably hardly climb up again or it will have really fast bullrun in the future considering its nature and the hypes revolve around the coin itself, the entire meme community nowaday fixated on this chain meaning more demand for solana but ethereum also have no shortage of such projects.
so its really depend on the safe side it'd be great if the investment can be divided equally between the two considering both are just as good anyway.
but if anyone thinking of interacting with solana dapps for the sake of getting airdrop or trying out their speculation with meme coin of course solana might look a little more interesting since we all know etheruem for interaction with most of the dapps cost a ton.
There is no doubt that SOL is a good coin and I also agree with you that it is already reaching its peak. I see a very bright future for SOL because I don't think SOL will stop here.
As we all know Bitcoin's halving event is still on its way and every time the market goes up after the halving, it can be said that the bull run has not started yet, the bull run is about to start. Therefore, the coins that are currently at their peak are likely to go even higher.

The most profitable and successful project after Bitcoin is currently Ethereum. Although so far it has not been able to grow its old ATH, still I am sure with Ethereum that Ethereum will catch the pack and give good profits to its investors. So in my view, Ethereum is more reliable than all other altcoins.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 190K in 2024? on: April 02, 2024, 09:48:42 AM
Considering how bitcoin has been performing over the years I will say that bitcoin at $190k is a good price range. That's more than 2x from current price. If I see bitcoin at this price I will sell part of my holding and reposition myself again for another entry point, possibly after bullrun might have been over. It's important to know when to take profit and when to keep holding.
The success of any trader depends on how well he understands the market. Knowing the buying and selling points can fetch you a good profit at any time. As the rest of the traders including me seem quite optimistic about Bitcoin, in the next couple of years we may see Bitcoin rise to new heights or maybe before that as all traders who trade on Bitcoin know the price of Bitcoin goes up after every halving.

Holding is all about patience in my opinion. A person who invests in Bitcoin to hold it for long-term will only be able to do that if they have enough patience that would allow them to keep holding even when Bitcoin gets to a good height but would still have the potential to go higher.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: April 02, 2024, 09:00:00 AM
Knowledge can be gained through any site or talking with friends about it but experience will only originates when you enter into the crypto world and see all the things with you own eyes so you will realise that what you have learned and what comes in reality.
Yes, but one shouldn't enter the market before they feel they are ready to start trading because that would make them lose money. When a person enters the trading sphere, their first step must be to learn everything about it, and once they have learned everything, they should put that on the test, maybe with a demo account or if a demo opportunity isn't available, they should start with a small amount just to try their skills and knowledge.

After the test, if they feel that they are ready and they can now make trades without any problems and won't lose all their money if they do so, that is when they should get into it and after that point, anything they do will earn them experience and they will become an experienced trader after some time.
133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what would I do, if I paid for coin and the seller refused to release it. on: April 01, 2024, 06:33:53 PM
Performing p2p operations is very risky though the chances of getting scammed is on the minimal depending on the exchange you are using but one thing I like about some exchanges like binance is the ability for them to wait till you confirm that your full amount have been paid to you before you release your crypto because if they had made it like if you have placed an order and released crypto immediately without receiving payments yet the rate of frauds would have been on the increase.
Well, P2P trading isn't risky but only if the person making a trade makes sure they understand everything very well and they act according to the rules set by the exchange because you will encounter a lot of scammers and frauds where they will try to trick you into releasing your assets without paying you, or when you are buying, they would make you pay and then wouldn't give you the assets by trying to use some trick or something.

But, if someone is aware of everything and has an active mind and is quick in reacting, they wouldn't get scammed, and if someone tries to scam them through a P2P platform, they can report their accounts to the management immediately so that they can take further action against them.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: April 01, 2024, 02:54:32 PM
Do you gamble just to earn money? If a person considers gambling as his source of income, he will never get fun from gambling whether he wins or loses. Because here the purpose of that person is to earn money. If you get money, you will be happy temporarily. But ultimately he is gambling for money.Earning money or losing money in gambling is a matter of fun or fun is mainly found while playing the games.
Exactly, the fun part is attached to what a person's perception about gambling is, whether they know and understand that gambling can't earn them money in the long run or they spend money on gambling with the hope that they might earn a fortune some day. Though it's possible, the odds are extremely low for someone to make a fortune through gambling and it only happens to a small percentage of gamblers out of millions of gamblers out there.

If a person understands this, then they might gamble just for fun, and when they do that, they don't care about losses because they will have a fixed budget and they will only be using that amount for their gambling activities and it would be an amount that they can easily afford to lose.
135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think merit is by chance or lengthy article? on: April 01, 2024, 11:40:54 AM
Initially, I use to think merit is by chance ( i.e something that will just happen) or lengthy article ( i.e writing too many paragraphs and the rest of them), but I have come to realize that, it is more than that.
I have being discouraged several times because of my numerous posts and replies yet no merit then. Even now, some times I use to be discourage. However, the only way to get merit is by posting quality article ( that is what determines merit) which almost everybody is aware of now.
In summary, don't look at the quantity of post you have make so far but instead try to adjust, I mean improve in your posts, above all be consistent and patient that is the key.
If a person joins the forum thinking that they would come here, make posts repeatedly in a short period, earn a bunch of Merits, rank up, and join signature and bounty campaigns to earn money then I think this wish will get them exhausted very soon and the result would be them leaving the forum.

The purpose of joining this forum should be to get a lot of your doubts clear about the cryptocurrency industry and learn a lot of things that we never knew before joining the forum.

When it comes to Merits, a diamond doesn't need to prove itself because its shine says it all. Similarly, an experienced and knowledgeable person's contributions tell how able the person is and what he/she deserves.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: April 01, 2024, 06:03:32 AM
Like I said earlier, how positive a person is yet not guarantee his outcome or increases his chances of winning. It doesn't matter how good we maybe even speculating, the market might decline and decide taking a U turn, just so unpredictable but at first stay positive and just wait for whatever outcome it maybe.
being positive is good when we are already reaching the bottom and accumulate exactly at that price point but I can't really be positive when we are reaching all time high there's always this feeling that the price will eventually having correction and go down again at some point, therefore being realistic is the best approach here, knowing that a bullrun just can't last forever instead there's always correction waiting for it just like the recent price correction

i'm sure people with level headed mind are already know that eventually they will see price correction thats why some people decides to dump but for people that are optimistic in which in this case can be considered to be a person with positive view of the market despite the price correction they definitely waiting for the price to break all time high again.

but realistically speaking, insight into technical aspect of the market also helps to be having realistic view of the market, knowing when we're already overbuying, etc really helps a lot in knowing what the market state currently is at.
Though staying positive is indeed a great thing, a wise person will always see both sides of a coin, and based on how the market conditions are at the moment, it is difficult to decide whether it will go up or take another dip from here. Due to the fear that the market can take a dip at any time, it's hard for people to take long-term positions at the moment because that could be risky if they are going all in on a single buy.

People who are doing short-term trading and are buying and selling very often are going to enjoy these times a lot. Just like how life doesn't stop when someone comes or goes, trading doesn't stop whether the market goes up or down, but only the ones who analyse the market very well and conduct enough research can be the winners at the end of the day.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: March 31, 2024, 08:26:52 PM
The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.
Not only the price of food but now the price of almost every other product needed to survive has doubled from two to three years ago. Especially since the covid-19 pandemic. The price of daily necessities is increasing and there is no way to reduce it. Among them, inflation is going extremely high in my country, two years ago USDT price was around 90BDT and now it has increased to 120BDT. All in all, it has become very difficult to make a living for the general population of third-world developing countries. Moreover, if we talk about medicine, if a person from a middle class family goes to spend for treatment, now there is no money for food, there can be no talk of savings.
When you say product needed to survive, I think that will still be the same as food. You know, we can still live even without a shelter but as long as we can eat and drink, and maybe consume some meds once we got sick. The rise of price is called inflation and it already occurred long time ago.

Price of goods will also depend on the demand. During the Covid era, demand for many goods might have declined and so as their price as people lost their jobs. People who are not that wealthy can actually refrain from treatment as it was costly but there is no way they will neglect food as it was needed by humans daily. It's only true that they rarely have a saving.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto. WHERE DO U GUYS TRADE?? on: March 31, 2024, 08:12:23 PM
Coinbase, Kraken. Binance would probably not be suitable for you since it has a separate exchange for US citizens (Binance US) which afaik, has lower market volume compared to the global Binance one. I think an alternative that has copy trading would be Bybit Gemini. Turns out Bybit isn't allowed in the US as well.
Actually I think Binance is more suitable for him since I observe USA version of binance is gaining continuous reputation. Yes, I'm talking about the US version of it and they might have exclusive offers that are only available to the people residing on that country, which is great.

Coinbase and Kraken are big exchanges so maybe they do also have a version similar to Binance US? Hmm.. but too bad if Bybit doesn't allow US people because it might also be a good exchange as I'm seeing it across the forum lately. Gemini on the other hand must be a US-based exchange and I think they only allow people on the same country because I got a similar prompt last time upon trying to register on them.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 31, 2024, 03:39:02 PM
You took a loan and sent the money into your casino wallet address, do you want to gamble with borrowed funds? I hope not, because that is not a good thing to do. Take note that you should always check and copy the right address when you are receiving or sending funds to a custodial wallet, you can't be sure if the service have changed the deposit address in your account. I know that you may be avoiding tx fees, but it is recommended to receive funds from a third party in your own self custodial wallet and then you can fund your casino address by yourself.
I believe yes he wants to gamble using the borrowed funds because why he will use his casino's address anyway? But yeah, this is not good because we all know how gambling business are built. They always ensure that they can win more than their customer. That would feel like a double loss for us because we still need to pay our loans after, in case we got a bad luck in our play. Whether the wallet we use is custodial or not, double-checking the address is always a must. Not only that they can change the address without prior notice, we can also copy and pasted the wrong address due to some factors or reasons. Your last advice is also great because they may not allow casino addresses.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Research a Token/Coin on: March 31, 2024, 01:12:42 PM
I basically do very little research on new tokens or coins. It is true that a lot of research should be done on a token or coin before investing if the coin is new. At first I used to follow youtube for new coin or token research. One thing I noticed in all the crypto related videos especially about new token or coin research is that all the crypto videos have spam comments. However, in most cases the new token or coin projects will be dusty in the future, but it is possible to be successful in the future by choosing a new project with the most accurate research. I always keep my investments in the top coins so that I have less fear of losing money in the future.
YouTube is the worst place to do your research if you are willing to invest in a project. After all, most videos that you will find about it will be paid ones even if they are from content creators who have a lot of subscribers because projects contact them and pay them money to make videos about their project for promotional purposes, and if you see someone on YouTube praising a certain cryptocurrency before it's launch, know that he has been paid to do that.

Your research should be done from the material available about the project or the cryptocurrency. The website should contain everything you need for your research including the whitepaper, information about the team, the vision of the project, social handles, and everything else.
