121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better. Bitcoin or gold? on: August 13, 2024, 08:33:52 PM
Which one do you like trading? I guess those trading gold will prefer to go long, especially around 8 am EST.
I trade Bitcoin and some altcoins. I never traded Gold and there's chance that I might avoid trading it in future as well. Even only Bitcoin, Lite Coin, Ethereum, Ton, Solana, and a few such coins are more than enough for me to make my profits.

if someone wants to make good profits then altcoins can be good for that person but they are way more volatile and riskier than Bitcoin. However, if someone wants to make profits without much risk then of course there's no alternative of Bitcoin.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Benefits of Being Early in Crypto and Protecting Against Scams on: August 13, 2024, 08:30:22 PM
Right, meme coin is the perfect investment to gain massive profits in short time, because a new meme coin is increased 1000x although it was exceptional, so can possible early investment in meme coins, if luck will match then profit will incredible. shiba nd pepe these are two big example, early investors got massive profits..
Meme coins aren't good for investing purpose because investing in the meme coins is more like gambling with your money and that's why I don't recommend anyone to invest in meme coins especially those newly launched ones as those could get dumped within hours, only the developers and few initial investors can earn profit from those meme coins.

Pepe and Shiba are some of the rare meme coins that made their investors rich. Another such meme coin is Wif but those are rare ones and most investors can't find such legit and rare meme coins. These days we can see so many meme coins popping each day on Solana, ETH, Ton blockchain and some on those Base Ethereum layer and most of those are just rug pulls and useless coins. That's why investing in newly launched meme coins is very risky.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crypto is actually the future on: August 13, 2024, 08:20:40 PM
volatility is just a case of timeframe and position sizing. if your time frames looks crazy, "zoom out". people look at 15min way to much. Bitcoin is daily, or even weekly
Well, for day traders volatility makes a lot of sense as they try their best to make as much profit as possible per day and that can happen only because of the volatility of Bitcoin. In fact in some market conditions I personally trade with just 3 minute and 5 minute charts to make some quick bucks.

However, I agree that those who want to invest in Bitcoin should avoid short time frames as those aren't going to be helpful for their long term investing. Sometimes when I think about long term accumulation then I often look at daily/weekly and a few times at monthly chart of Bitcoin. That way I can accumulate some Bitcoin and make profit by selling it for 10% to 20% profit.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the most safest strategy used in trading? on: August 13, 2024, 08:14:13 PM
Drop a strategy you u think is the most safer and reliable.
No strategy is safer with 100% accuracy and that's a truth but I believe the most reliable strategy for me is to only open long trades when market is highly dipped and similarly I only make short trades when market is highly pumped.

I only use Bollinger bands and RSI to find the peak of the market. I know it's not possible to get the exact peak of a pump but with proper understanding of those indicators one can make profitable trades. Of course in shorting stop loss is important to avoid losing money if market goes upward after your trade execution.
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why we need to prioritize risk management, as a trader! on: August 13, 2024, 08:09:28 PM
Yes, in trading risk management is a very important habit someone develops. Trading isn't a child's play and to be honest, everyone can't make profits as a trader. Only few people who have learnt trading deeply and have practical knowledge of it can make profits in trading.

Those few people prioritize risk management because if they lose a lot of money in one trade then how could they even recover that money first before making any profits? That's why they give much importance to risk management so they might not lose a lot of money in one trade.

Without any doubt, a trader's goal is to more as much profit as possible but in crypto market there's risk of losing ones capital by trading wrong coins and that's why only those who are good at risk management can make true wealth from trading.

127  Economy / Economics / Re: Things to avoid if you want to be rich. on: August 12, 2024, 08:31:49 PM
You can be working hard while someone that's working smart will become wealthy while you're still killing yourself with hardwork. Hardworkers are the 9-5 workers and that's an older way to be rich. We should be working smarter and utilize the time we have for multiple sources of income and become Investors with the money we get from the works.
Well, that's also true but again there's no substitute for hard work. Hard workers need time but they always get success and become richer than others. I know some people who are lucky can work less smarty but still get success and rich but those people are very few in number. Hard workers often face tough times in their lives but in the end they are the happier ones.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price of bitcoin can't be constant on: August 11, 2024, 09:06:33 PM
Today I saw some group of people in my geographical environment that's discussing of bitcoin price, and one of them said that bitcoin price will continue to fall until it get to thirty thousand [30k]
That person who said that Bitcoin will reach $30k again is someone who's living in 2023. I don't think that we are going to see Bitcoin going below than $40k no matter how heavy dumps take place.

I know it's not impossible for Bitcoin to getting dumped to $30k value but I don't think it's going to happen now or in future.
129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making a cold wallet on an Android device. on: August 11, 2024, 09:02:08 PM
And lastly will it still be a valid airgapped wallet if I connect it to the internet just once for the set up?
No, when a device is connected to the internet then it isn't considered as an air gapped device. Even for once if a device gets connected to internet for creating the wallet will somehow make it non air gapped device. If you want your device to be air gapped then don't connect it to internet.

I'm not sure about the Android based Air gapped system but you can make an air gapped system on a pc with Electrum wallet. It's possible to create a wallet with Electrum without connecting to internet. You can make a cold wallet with it.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Things to avoid if you want to be rich. on: August 11, 2024, 08:57:47 PM
Out of all those mentioned things I could say that procrastination is going to be on the top. Most people do not get rich because of that procrastination, not only getting rich but they also can't get anything in life because of that procrastination.

Hard work is important to get success and riches in life and those who procrastinate can't work hard, that's a fact. How can one be successful or rich without hard work? I believe it's not possible and that's why if someone really wants to be successful or rich then he/she should focus on hardworking.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional gambling style without a casino on: August 11, 2024, 08:53:02 PM
Have you ever tried something like this and gambled without a casino?
No, I haven't done something like that myself but I have seen some people doing that kind of gambling many times and those people really enjoy such kind of gambling.

I believe such games mostly take place between good friends only as they enjoy to win against each other and that's truly a fun experience for them.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The advantage of online gambling | Microgambling on: August 10, 2024, 10:03:56 PM
You could play the craziest bets and still keep going without going bankrupt.
Yes, on online casinos we can place very low value bets and can enjoy the games that we love. If someone is into online casinos for fun then that person doesn't need to place higher bets and losing of low amount bets won't cause any financial problems for gamblers. However, if they keep place small amount bets throughtout the day then they may still end up losing a lot of money in end if their luck was bad.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Reflection on Security in Online Casinos on: August 09, 2024, 11:51:25 PM
I believe that's a pure scam attempt and nothing else. I suggest you to not send any crypto currency to that person and also not to send any email to him. That way you can be safe from that scammer and I'm pretty sure he will keep sending you such messages again if you don't take any action now but even then you should try to avoid sending any details to that scammer for your own safety and privacy.
134  Other / Archival / Re: Groups of people that need help (Bitcoin topic) on: August 09, 2024, 11:47:24 PM
This topic isn't related to Bitcoin, I suggest you to move it to services board and if someone might needs such server then he/she may ask you for the favor or pay you something for the favor. Hope you'll find some people who might be interested in your service.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2024 the Year of Memecoins? on: August 09, 2024, 11:44:20 PM
Investing in meme coins is a new type of betting I guess. I've personally seen many meme coins getting 10x in value within hours because of huge pumps but the ones who bought those meme coins when its market cap was low dumped their coins on others and took their money.

It's more like a haven for the scammers because with the help of meme coins they can literally convert small amounts to huge amounts by dumping their coins and taking liquidity of the other investors. Only a few meme coins can reach million or billion dollar market cap while most of them will go to 50k to 10k market cap within days.
136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anything like last chance to invest in Bitcoin or last bearish of the ATH on: August 09, 2024, 11:37:10 PM
As long as someone can buy a Bitcoin then there's no such excuse. The holders will keep buying Bitcoin even if its value crosses $1M per Bitcoin.

I'm pretty sure that in next decade or two we may not see Bitcoin's value under $1M and at that time many people from this day will regret that why they didn't invested in Bitcoin when it was still under $60k.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: It's not smart to borrow funds and Pay back on: August 09, 2024, 11:33:21 PM
Op, so basically you're trying to say that how someone can take a loan an flew away with it and not pay it back and then with that loan amount that person may set a business at someone else's name and take more loans with the help of that business?

If that's what you're trying to say then I must tell you that those are tactics often followed by corrupt people and the scammers. A good person when takes a loan then he/she pays it back and also pays the interest of the loan.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I think trading is no different from Gambling! on: August 09, 2024, 05:43:41 PM
Please, am I wrong in looking at trading this way?.
Yes, you're wrong and you came with the thought only because you lost money in both gambling and trading.

Trading is way more different than gambling and actually when you're good at it then you can make money with it but in gambling your luck works for you.

No matter how good you're still you'll end up losing money in gambling if your luck isn't in your favor.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Risk or regret? (2) on: August 08, 2024, 10:06:32 PM
Considering risk and regret, which do you think will be the most painful for a gambler?
Risk is always going to be the most painful experience for a gambler and trust me most of the gamblers still take it to try their luck. Gambling is risky without any doubt because we are literally trying to win against house edge of a casino and that's a huge risk as there's higher chance to lose against it.

Even in sports betting there is risk that we take when placing our bets because sometimes the team that we think can perform good tends to perform so badly when we bet in their favor and in such times we don't make profits but losses if we take the risk. And losses are truly painful.
140  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Casinos with Live Streams? on: August 08, 2024, 09:13:08 PM
I used to watch those Live Streams on some casino sites but mostly I was interested in e-sports live streams and if I'm not wrong then Megapari used to offer such live streaming on those e-sports events.
