121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ## BlakeStar BLAS // Blake2s // PoW/PoS Hybrid ## on: January 03, 2018, 10:07:25 AM
So, how many coins needed for decent staking reward?  I read 500k in this thread.  Is that true?  That's insane.  I'm reading people are getting a lot of stale stakes with less.  This is not good.  Comparing to PIVX, you can stake with 1 coin.  Takes a shit ton of time.  But it works.  So what's the deal here?

I've been running a CHC Masternode for 23 days, no payment.  Wtf is going on?  I'm about to dump it.

Does ZenCash use the same zerocoin tech as PIVX?

If Graft will have its own blockchain, how will I get them out of my nano wallet?  Because right now they’re a Mosaic on NEM.

This question may have been answered already here.  But how much gas/gwei do you have to use to send ICX?  I'm getting transaction execution errors using myetherwallet and metamask.
200000/45Gwei
That's a $7 transaction fee.  wtf!  Etherium is as broken as bitcoin.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX price on: December 22, 2017, 12:23:23 AM
PivX is one of the best projects in the market
I expect Pivx to be worth about $ 10 in next year
We made it! now the next step is 100$ !!!! and then... the Giant will rise a lot!!!!
$1000!!!!!!!!!  And then I retire.

I want to invest in this project but I couldn't understand a few things.

What is the number of coins that are ever going to be produced?
What will be the price of one coin on ICO in usd?
What will be the minimum investment on ICO in USD?

https://www.graft.network/ico/
Why does everyone keep asking the same questions over and over again.  Read the thread, that's why it's here.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: December 17, 2017, 12:45:02 AM
Great news!
Good take in the next few years! I too think icon will be huge and the guys that got on the ico will have life changing money and I think a $100 coin roughly 40B market cap isn’t unreasonable based on projections of the entire crypto market cap.
It is a grand time to make some money.

Damn... Well if that was the case, I guess I at least haven't "lost" much... Still sucks that so many are excluding U.S. customers, despite tons of other countries seeming to crack down on crypto. Aren't they..?
YO!!  KYC may be a joke after all.  Plug the new contract into your eth wallet to see if the tokens are there.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Graft - credit card and crypto payment processing network on: December 16, 2017, 05:28:56 AM
USD GRF target:   $0.11
Total emission was increased 100 times and the price was decreased 100 times https://www.graft.network/2017/12/12/1100-split/

So if I understand well GRF token has been split in 1/100 and is now worth 0.11$ (target after ICO). And what about the tokens given for signature campaign participants? Will they be raised accordingly?
”If you have received grf:token so far as part of the Presale, service, or bounty programs, we will apply the split at the time of conversion to the GRF coin.”

Welp, as it turns out, despite the rep's willingness to accept my KYC information well after due-date (earlier in December), they're telling me my ETH is going to be refunded because I'm a U.S. customer...

I thought the whole point of completing the KYC process was for prevention of any kind of fraud, so what's the problem with having a U.S. customer?

That wouldn't be a problem if they'd just send me my ETH back... They were supposed to refund it on the 12th, but two days later, no ETH refund...
Yeah, I haven't received anything either.  I missed the KYC due to an email hack, just my luck.  This is the only ico that is actually doing real KYC.  The rest of them are a joke, lol!  So, I'm probably going to buy some ICON when it's publicly available.

I probably will too, depending on price... If it ends up launching at current price and I essentially missed out on a 15x or so gain, I'm going to be beyond furious... As I recall, I don't remember any warning about being a U.S. customer, or not being allowed to take part. Others have been clear, so why the hell do they just surprise you with crap?
I read it, saw it.  It was there.

I have ICON tokens from the ico but missed the boat on the KYC verification.  So are these original ICON tokens going to be worthless?  What do I do?
ETH will be refunded to the ETH Address that was used for the Token Sale during december.
i don’t have to do anything to get the refund?

I commend you for this.  When mining is live, not on testnet, will it be possible to mine only on CPU.  If one doesn't have any GPU's to mine with, will a laptop suffice?
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX price on: December 04, 2017, 05:08:34 PM
but, this year the price of PIVX will reach $10
and i believe next year will become the year of PIVX,,
Wow,i see many people talk about PIVX but i dont really know PIVX similar to any coin? I dont know what it can do.
www.pivx.org and their YouTube channel are good places to start.  Self research is best.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX price on: December 04, 2017, 05:43:10 AM
The price is climbing strong now, having a real good product you can expect the price to continue rising

Now the resistance is broken with the good news, 10 dollar is easily in reach
Rising due to add to Korean exchange.  Thank you S Korea!

It seems there is a push back on the project as to the start date of the ICO but what I am surprised at is that there is no discussion about the the importance of this project and the gap that it seeks to fill in this era of several project coming out and competing for space and attention. Rather what I am seeing are only something related to mining grf or running the node which to me should be a discussion after the ICO. I might be wrong though.
We know the project is important which why we want to mine and run nodes.

Introducing Superstake: Important Enhancement of Graft Network Protocol

Original blog post: https://www.graft.network/2017/11/23/introducing-superstake-important-enhancement-of-graft-network-protocol/

If I run a supernode (miner and full node for service brokers), my miner cannot join mining pool? Instead I need superstake node to be able to join the mining pool and be a valid supernode?

Correct - you must run a solo miner in order to run your own full supernode.
If you join a pool, you want be able to own a full supernode because you don’t own the pool wallet. The pool owners will take care of superstake. I guess they will be sharing the earnings from transaction fees with all pool participants.
So, a supernode is different from a masternode in that mining is involved along with locking up coins?
