121  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Million dollars per coin by year 2020. I am not kidding. on: November 22, 2013, 11:01:08 PM
Tax heaven bank accounts hold 30 trillion dollars? But there are only 3 trillion dollars in existence.

You know that dollar isn't the only currency in the world?

123  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Million dollars per coin by year 2020. I am not kidding. on: November 22, 2013, 10:18:18 PM
If everyone who had 1 Bitcoin became a millionaire then the world would have far to many millionaires and that status would not be as prestigious as today. Some people have thousands of Bitcoin so do the math, its pretty much impossible.

Well there can even theoretically be only 21 million people with 1 Bitcoin and of course the real number will be much lower because many people have much more and  all the lost coins etc.

And today there is approximately 10 million people today with net worth more than 1 Million excluding their apartment. So your argument basically makes no sense what so ever.
124  Economy / Speculation / 1 Million dollars per coin by year 2020. I am not kidding. on: November 22, 2013, 09:41:52 PM
What do you think?

It's so funny to think that we are living a time where anyone with couple of hundreds dollars can just choose to be millionaire in a couple of years.

EDIT: And I am talking 1 million in todays dollars.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Have you ever hold more Bitcoins than you hold now? on: November 21, 2013, 06:33:50 PM
Altought I posses significant amount of BTC wealth (in my own scale that is), there has been point when I have had 4x Bitcoin, but of course price was then much lower.

But still it sometimes make me feel sick to think how much money in dollars I would  now have if I haven't ever sold a single Bitcoin.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoin parabolic rise and bubble crash have you been through? 1, 2, 3? on: November 21, 2013, 09:10:25 AM
It's just so fucking character building everytime.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: November 20, 2013, 08:23:20 PM
I often think that Satoshi is the only one of us who's achieved immortality. I don't mean in the sense of fame and I don't mean that he won't die some day. But he's living it. I think he is what the conception really means. You know how people long to be eternal. But they die with every day that passes. When you meet them, they're not what you met last. In any given hour, they kill some part of themselves. They change, they deny, they contradict--and they call it growth. At the end there's nothing left, nothing unreversed or unbetrayed; as if there had never been an entity, only a succession of adjectives fading in and out on an unformed mass. How do they expect a permanence which they have never held for a single moment? But Satoshi--one can imagine him lasting forever.
128  Economy / Speculation / Will Bitcoin ever again go under $400? on: November 20, 2013, 05:10:37 PM
What do you think?

133  Economy / Speculation / Re: I know very few people here really care... on: November 19, 2013, 12:48:03 AM
Even theoretically there will never be more than 21 million Bitcoin. In order it to became even relatively adopted money the price will have to go to the "ridiculous" heights.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 19, 2013, 12:41:06 AM
At the same time, the destruction of the legacy financial system will send stocks and real estate to all-time lows.

I doubt it. Stocks and real estate are tangible wealth. Currency is merely something used to purchase wealth.

They  will go to all time lows (temporarily) because their owners will panic buy Bitcoins with everyway they can.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100$ price increases per day are now new normal on: November 19, 2013, 12:39:52 AM
Hey, it made $100 swings in mere minutes a couple of times today, at least on some exchanges...

Sure but what I meant with new normal was that it will increase EVERY DAY with 100$ from now on. And after that with $1000. And after that..
136  Economy / Speculation / 100$ price increases per day are now new normal on: November 19, 2013, 12:31:15 AM
I think that soon $1000 increases per day will be normal.

After that we enter into the Bitcoin Singularity.
