Yes okay, I can understand why winning League 1 only is still important and can be considered a good result for PSG. But that is going to mean PSG is not improving. I am sorry to say but winning the League One title only is not improving for PSG. They will have to show good performance in the Champions League competition to prove that they are actually improving. Or they could also face better competition in the league. But let's be honest, the competition is not suddenly going to improve in the Ligue 1. So if they actually want to show improvement, they will have to perform well in the Champions League competition.

I see us (Liverpool) as outsiders, we do have players in the squad who have won EVERYTHING, so the experience is there but essentially we still have a whole new midfield so it’s not as cohesive as it could be. I think Man City are favourites, you can get them at 1.62 but Liverpool are an attractive 5.50 to be Champions. I’d like to see how the table looks in February, we will know more then. It doesn't worry me, maybe because I'm not an Inter fan but I'm certain that if you ask Inter fans which they would chose between not playing in the champions league and having a lot of time to rest while Juventus plays in the champions and the league or they (Inter) plays in both competitions, I'm sure they'll chose to pkwy in both competitions. These are the things that determine a big club. A big club plays in 3 competitions all season long while smaller clubs only plays in one, making the challenge and pressure bigger for the bigger club. Inter don't seem like a club that would let Juventus use that as an advantage over them. The serie A title race would be between these two giants; Juventus and Inter. Seriously the group has lived up to its expectations of been the group of death. This group and group A are the most complicated group in this year’s edition. For group H clubs one thing I notice is that almost all of them are strong at home and will likely take maximum points at home. Furthermore their form in premier league won’t matter as this is a different competition but I’m sure the player’s will be confident heading into this match and thus I’m hoping they can secure an win for themselves. |
