XCN back online on novaexchange! :-)
That's great news! However, due to their non-existent volume, they're an even worse exchange for XCN trading than bter. Who knows, it might pick up, but I doubt it.

There is no memory or cpu "leek", nor poor net performance.
I beet you have lots of leeks.

Just to be sure, you got no errors in db.log or debug.log?
My bad, of course there were errors, but I can't interpret them. I did paste here though but I assume it wasn't looked into. Pallas basically said "I've never seen that before" and that was it. I offered to send him my logs but never got a reply. Not that it matters now, because everything has been working fine for a week - though without me changing a single thing. My miners have been mining just as before.

Both linux-qt and windows cryptonited running well so far (4 days). I guess I need to wait, it's like watching the paint dry...

About miners dumping, 1440 blocks x 197= 283,000 coins mined daily. Each currently valued (btc38) about 1.5 eurocents so only about 4300€ daily if every miner dumps daily to the highest bid. That's nothing.
I've used both cryptonited and qt and they both crash without error sometimes. However, it's been working great with cryptonited for the last 7 or so days, even though I've changed nothing and done nothing (except mine). So I have no clue what could've been the problem.

While 2,405,500 coins (8.5 days) might not be much in the long run, and if all those would be sold instantly (which they won't) then that might not be a lot for the daily volume (which is over 90 million last 24 hours). But, it might set a big sell trend in motion. And lets not forget that their wallet isn't fixed yet.

And by the looks of it, they're not really trying that hard.

You mine xcn in the hope that they will repair the wallet?
Yes.

...st**id btc38!!! how can be, if xcn wallet`s broken, how people`s can trade with xcn? or it`s only for big man`s?
People can trade XCN because they don't need a wallet for that. It's just numbers so the traded XCN is simply "on their account" until the wallet starts functioning. As long as you have any other currency you can trade for XCN back and forth, but you can't deposit or withdraw XCN itself.

I'm hoping that they'll fix their wallet soon, so I'm still mining.

Greetings,

What is the best GPU for minings between these two GPU's?

I Will be running 3-4 of them.
I'm assuming you still want to use Dustin for your purchases. If that's the case, you won't be running any RX 580 since they're out of stock with no date whatsoever.

I think they mean their technical staff.
I'm not so sure. When I asked if they meant their technical staff or coin developer, this is what they replied. I'm not sure if "XCN administrator" means their own staff. However, as usual it's a bit cryptic:

Quote
We want to know why the bugs that come up require the blockchain packets provided by the XCN administrator. To recover. We can prove it to be no problem.

Received a reply from BTC38 support, "Hello, sorry, XCN wallet repair, has been suspended"
It's really hard to figure out what they actually mean. Because from your reply it sounds like they have stopped trying to fix the wallet.

However, when I asked if they had stopped trying (after I read your reply) they said:
"No, it needs official administrator to fix it after opening, please wait Smiley"

I'm guessing "official administrator" means Pallas (I don't think they mean their internal administrator), but it could mean anything really.

Create a shortcut to your bat file and put it in your startup folder. Don't paste a copy. Make a shortcut. That's it.

About btc38 please be patient: they had issues in the past and always fixed them.
When they've had issues previously, how long did it take for them to fix those issues?

orphan block.

Whattomine profit calc does not take into account orphans, and there is lot of them (> 30%)
They kinda do now. They've set the "pool fee" to 30% as default. Though anyone can change that of course.

Hi.
on what service it is better to lay out a screenshot?
I'm pretty sure he means that he can't help you because we can't read Russian.

My guess would be that you found a block but it wasn't accepted in the wallet because someone else had already found that block. At least, that's how it was described to me when I asked about those "Generated but not accepted" (I'm assuming that's what it is, I can't read Russian either) blocks that show up in my wallet from time to time.

fixed
Any idea why I have more than 1000 XCN as unconfirmed for a couple of days on suprnova? It's only increasing as well for every block the pool finds. They're never confirmed.

Hi,
I create cryptonite-qt purse after creation of a purse I check - in receiving addresses 1 address. I close a purse, I add the cryptonite.conf file with settings, I start a purse, I begin to maynit - in addresses of receiving the second address appears.
why so?
maybe I what not I do?
Nothing to worry about.

ok, ok, we got it: you wanna buy cheap coins
Have your contact over at btc38 said anything about any ETA on fixing their wallet?
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 28, 2017, 09:47:31 AM
Strange, when I click on BT withdrawal, it shows me the right form to to this, without error message

ps : Anyway, I have a pool problem. with 38 MHS, suprnova report me only 10 XCN / hour, when whattomine gives me 32 XCN / h !
What's the point ?
You'll get an error when you try to withdraw.
Whattomine is wrong.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 28, 2017, 01:00:35 AM
What was the reason you never went skunk?

Could have made a shitton of btc and then buy xcn to support the coin?
I had no idea about skunk. I was too busy trying to figure out why I was getting less blocks than I should on XCN.

It's like they say, hind sight is always 20/20, right?

XCN still has double+ profit compared to SIGT though so I'll keep to  XCN with the vast majority of my hash rate.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 28, 2017, 12:25:35 AM
Say orphans with the latest wallet git commit.
Also not sure what you're trying to say. It sounds like you're somewhat bragging over the amount of orphans that are reported with the latest commit.

If 30% of all blocks are orphans, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the coin to begin with. Because that's what it looks like - about 30% at best - of all blocks are orphans. That shouldn't be the case. Yet it is.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread! | 1st mini-blockchain coin | BOUNTIES! on: July 27, 2017, 10:46:15 PM
There for sure is something no one understands so far.

btw, why do you point that much of hash to a broken coin?
I point it to XCN because so far, XCN is the one that gives me the highest profit that I've found. And partly because I believe it can still grow. But mostly because it's more profitable compared to the "usual" coins and I haven't found anything that consistently give me a higher profit than those.

I prefer a little bit of both - I enjoy profit, but I also enjoy keeping a coin alive, or believing that a coin has what it takes when it comes to specifications etc. and would like it to grow even further.
