Can someone please explain to me how to set the environment variables. Do i set it computer wide, or is it code for when I start the miner?
I want to make sure I have the instructions below set correctly.
Catalyst (Crimson) 15.12 is required for best performance and compatibility. You can get very bad results for different drivers version, or miner can fail on startup.
Set the following environment variables, especially if you have 2GB cards:
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

if I change values in param.h do I have to do something for it to take effect or just relaunch the program??

Use "-i 4" when possible.
You did it again... Performance is through the roof! I have noticed a 5% boost between -i 2 and -i 4 option. Thank you! We all appreciate your work. |

I merged the low CPU Nvidia patch into my Windows branch. Don't have the hardware to verify correct functionality.
Also submitted a tiny (potential) speed bump for all cards that don't have 36 compute units.

I wasn't sure if was going to post... but have a look. I am not a developer, this was my own personal proof of concept, nothing special, I know nothing about coding. I suspect it is easy to do, in reality, not for me I used sa-solver built by Genoil, V5 sources and Python34 with cx_Freeze. I already get this with 3 x RX480 and Claymore 4.0  I couldn't get the speed, my CPU usage is 2% now though, not 20% Mine too, -i 0 with a 4790k i7 Ah the old i7 So what bios mods, would you mind sharing? Would be interesting to know your clock speeds as ZEC likes high clocks. |

The 4.0 version provided about a 30% H/s increase for my system over version 3.1. I have two RX480's on windows 10. One card is 4GB, the other is 8GB and I am running the latest catalyst drivers.
Even though I am getting an increased H/s, I do not get credit for any shares on zcash.flypool.org. Is anyone else seeing the same behavior?

I dont understand why my amd 480 nitro+ 4gb , with intel i5 3570k , have only 65 h/s on windows 10 x64 .
I read 75 - 80 h/s in some post of this thread .
