121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi Poker series discussion thread(FREEROLL SUNDAY ALL WELCOME) on: November 09, 2020, 08:45:23 AM
In any case, this topic is a lot more popular than Betnomi's regular gaming topic. Maybe they should switch completely to poker only?
it seems to be well received by the people on the forum and there is also a lot of interest. Just think that poker is also hugely complex to manage. As a casino you only run little risk, which is a great advantage.
122  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slotome Licensed Casino & Crypto Gaming on: November 09, 2020, 08:42:44 AM
Can you explain to us what happened? You started the ANN a few months ago, including a license (at least, that's in the list). That must have taken quite some time, money and energy.
why then put this project off the track so quickly? We are only a few months on. maybe take a reorganization or change software?
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback |VIP on: November 08, 2020, 08:24:07 PM
Tried my luck on slots yesterday and today, it seems mr. luck is not smiling on me Cheesy.  The highest multiplier I got is not more than 70x and somehow got tons of consecutive reds whichever slots I played.  Oh well, I guess I need to relax for now and try again after a few days.  Hope you guys get lucky and hit high multipliers.
If you're looking for a high multiplier you must have a good bankroll, games that provide a high multiplier are games with high volatility.
if you want to play comfortably then play on Medium/Low volatility and the RTP above 96.5
Gambling is just a game of chance which makes getting an elevated multiplier not to do with having a good bankroll since it have to do with luck and i will advice Serjent05 to join Duelbits Twitter account cause the competition seems to be easy to win because there seem to be less experienced gambler on there than the forum.

You are right about that, but there is a significant different between betting and gambling. they are not the same for sure.
Although both have the similarities that you need a factor of luck to be successful.
124  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 07, 2020, 03:51:21 PM
This really gives confusion to all players of course what we are going to follow is the one written on your TOS since I think that was the official and of course the post here by the representative of Betnomi are unofficial even if they clarified it. I think the least they can do is really change their TOS.

It's not easy to change there TOS without any consultation to there lawyer. I understand very the concern about the KYC and I myself is still uncertain about this. But they are putting a lot of effort to establish there reputation here by means of giving away and contest exclusive on Bitcointalk forum user. So I believe that they will honor there words since they are spending money just to get the trust of customers. It just show how important the bitcointalk user to Betnomi.

Still it's up to you guys if you will trust them or not. But I agree that they should revise the TOS ASAP.

I agree that they put effort and energy into making this project successful. The general terms and conditions are not a problem to adjust, you see that happen regularly when sites bring updates to their system. The big problem here is that Betnomi has explicitly stated on the forum that they don't require KYC, but then put it in the terms. They may not ask for the KYC documents, but now there are 2 stories on the table and customers no longer know what to believe. It has become very dubious now. You can actually only make a good judgment if you have been paid or not, only the procedure that goes into this is important. Customers have the right to know whether a site holds a KYC control or not. I assume that Betnomi knows what is written in her own ToS?
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 05, 2020, 04:49:22 PM
Many people will recognize that. When it comes to innocent amounts, it doesn't matter that much. often it starts with innocent amounts, and the limit is gradually increased and then the consequences are incalculable.
It's best to take some time out after a loss, but that's easier said than done.
126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - US Election Madness 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 04, 2020, 02:01:58 PM
Just noticed today that Stake is blocked by most all my local Internet Service Providers.
Good thing is that there is a mirror site of Stake, so it wont be a big problem.
Using 1.1.1.1 or other private DNS is still working as well, so there are still some ways to access Stake for anyone those who are affected by such block by ISP.

This method may work, but are you sure you won't have any problems with it? You might run in problems with these actions. I am not an IT expert by the way.
I never trust things like that when you're going to mess with dns or other stuff, the last thing you want them to say you tried to access illegally.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 03, 2020, 02:11:53 PM
If the course moves in the wrong direction, it will. If the bitcoin halves in price and you play in the unit of mbtc or btc, for example, then you still feel that you have lost half of the value in money.
This can have the same effect as hitting tilt, after which radical bets are made that you otherwise wouldn't make. That's the downside of playing in crypto and not fiat.
128  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: November 01, 2020, 07:00:50 PM
Hello guys !

Just to warn you be really careful with CloudBet, i think i got scammed, i played there for a few months but 1 month ago, i had some big wins and one day to another my account got locked with all my funds and i was asked to prove my identity, fine i sent an email with all the proofs but 1 month later still nothing and every time i exchange with the support, i am told that there is no update about my case and they have no contact with the verification team.

I think as long as you don't win much it won't happen to you but get out before the same happens to you

Stay safe

I read different stories about it. If you got scammed, can you please share us your experience with them? If they really scam people, then it is better to show the story.
Cloudbet usually should have the chance to defend themselves, I think. Only an accusation is not enough, you have to come up with some evidence or explanation so they can react and people can judge.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: October 31, 2020, 09:02:58 PM
Maybe an idea, but I would personally expand the sheet a bit with options and sports from other bookmakers, now there are only 2 available.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 31, 2020, 11:18:08 AM
What is going on with limits?

Limits were very small when i register 2 weeks ago (10-20 euros), you said that limits increased for everyone which was true, after a week though limits are back to 10-20 euros?

In this case, it seems much better to increase the limits structurally. If you have such low limits of 10-20 eur, you will generally not be seen for the overall audience as a serious bookmaker.
Most gamblers prefer to have decent limits.
It may of course be the case that these limits apply to unknown events or matches, you should actually only be able to test it out and conclude at big games such as the Premier League in England.
131  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOL.. so little warning sending coins to Roobet - =) ur gonna love this on: October 30, 2020, 08:24:24 PM
I would avoid sending ETH  to Roobet if you have a stuck pending BTC transaction,

Apparently, they believe ETH and BTC share the same network - So if you have sent them BTC and its still pending .. then you decided to send some ETH..   you won't be able to make a withdraw since you have a pending BTC transaction.

Maybe I missed anew update where an ETH transaction is affected by a BTC transaction ??

More deceiving practices - I guess it's the normal thing with online casinos now. try to get money at all costs.

oh well.. my fault for not catching this.. I really never heard of anything like this before LOL .. geeeeze.. even the scammy of all low-end casinos don't even have something like this .. lol . wow  ( maybe they should follow this methodology)

I guess I will just have to wait it out till this cluster f of unconfirmed transactions has cleared up.. maybe next year in January? =)

mind blown

If you add enough fee to the transaction, it should be confirmed quickly enough in the network, right? Is this not confirmed yet or do you mean it has not been processed on the site?
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 30, 2020, 08:00:03 PM
I sometimes wonder what influence the supporters have in a match with tennis. In football it is clear that the home team has a lot of advantage, but how would that be in tennis?
Many fans are there for tennis, and not fans of a particular player. Or that is in any case not noticeable.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 05:35:11 PM
That can go in different directions. If the bitcoins has risen so badly, then I see no reason to gamble. After all, you want to gamble to make money, and what could be nicer to make money from bitcoin if it rises by itself. However, it can also go down. In that case you are still gambling because the price is going in all directions.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 28, 2020, 11:29:31 AM
I think it is impossible to have 0% edge. That is why they always make money in long term. Simple example is a tennis match with 2 outcomes and 50-50% chances.
It should be 2.00 -2.00 odds, but it is 1.90 for both.
135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 25, 2020, 10:01:46 PM
I'm interested to know more about the slot tournaments. As per information I read on the tournament, the winner is based on points but there is no clear information on how to get the points. Would you mind to tell me how to get the points, is the points based on our wagering amount or something else? If it is based on wagering amount then how much 1 point worth in USD bet? There is only "the more you bet, the more your score", so I wanna know about the points in more detail information.

Glad you are interested in our tournaments. Below is the information on how these points are calculated. With respect to what these points are worth, the only use case of these points are to determine the winners of the tournament and are not redeemable for cash.

Points are counted by the following formula: Single Win amount/Single Bet amount.
Example:
Player 1 made 4 winning bets: 3 (Winning bet rate)+ 3 (Winning bet rate)+ 5 (Winning bet
rate) + 3 (Winning bet rate) = 14 (Total winning bets rate)
Player 2 made 2 winning bets: 7 (Winning bet rate) + 8 (Winning bet rate) = 15 (Total
winning bets rate).
Player 2 wins.

I don't think you can make an accusation against Betnomi at this point. They haven't scammed anyone at all right now.
I do agree that it would be much easier to block players from countries in advance. Otherwise, bookmakers do this too, and they have casinos too.

We do have a geo-block in place right from the very beginning and still do. There is currently a proposal for a much effective way of restricting jurisdictions that are blacklisted.
Regardless of that, should someone somehow end up in a situation like that, we are not other bookmakers or casinos. If you win, you get your winnings and your account closed afterward and if we noticed this before any gameplay, we will refund your deposit period! we are not interested in Scamming or confiscating anyone's funds. Even though we have the discretion and its stated in our terms and conditions, we are not going to take such action against anyone as we perceive that as unfair.  Just to be clear, this is not an invitation or an incentive for people in restricted territories to use our platform.

That is to good to be true. If playing on your site is illegal, then we all know how it will end on the moment you do a KYC procedure. We saw that with Cloudbet a few weeks ago, and Sportsbet.io used this trick also many times to confiscate funds.
If somebody is gambling from a restricted area on your site, and he wins, then he will get lucky if he gets his deposit back.
It does not make any sense what you are doing now.

I say it once again: If you have restricted countries on the list, block them and do not let them register.
You can also change the terms maybe, after all you have some experience with changing it, since you changed it already 100 times now.

What I found in the ToS, was this:

So that means that they can decide on any moment to take the winnings/funds?
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: October 24, 2020, 06:10:28 PM
has anyone ever compared the odds of Esport matches with those of normal matches, and also to what extent the result roughly matches the offer?
1.90 odds should for example be 50-50 in the results, is that also the case with Esports, I am very curious about this.

I am sure you can find some information on the internet about it, if you study it. Depends also what you want to achieve with it? Do you want to use ir to place bets or just curiosity?
It is always nice that these Esports are continue with it, even in corona situation they were able to play. That is the big advantage.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 23, 2020, 11:52:34 AM
A lot of people have been burned by founders running away with with ICO money. It tarnishes the reputation of cryptocurrencies and I believe we should help educate new investors as soon as possible.

Can anyone share a checklist of the things they look for to determine if a coin is worth investing in?

And what are the red flags that you often see people fall for?
First I check their website the team, their background and accomplishments second thing is their whitepaper their solution to existing problem how are they going to implement it and also if it's possible or executable and lastly what could be their product after 5 years. Some ICO's really execute their scam you wouldn't know that they're scam since they have good whitepaper and everything is really good.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 23, 2020, 11:36:01 AM
There's nothing complex needed to be learned here just place your bet to red black, odd or even or you can do some kind of betting strategy not quite sure but you can check the net and the ball would to the rest it's kind of entertaining and exciting in my opinion.
