yes, but passive income will need someone to deposit so you can win. So this is a ponzi scheme.

125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info is buggy and slow, Use blockr.io. on: March 20, 2014, 01:15:16 PM
yes, making a wallet system like blockchain.info has is not trivial, so we can say that blockr.io is an advanced blockexplorer.

I think that this tree isn't avaiable at this address has something to do with their database problem a few days ago. Maybe the tree id has changed, if you remember the bitcoin transaction id, you can find the tree again
128  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [INVEST] - Yet Another BiTCoin Lottery - YABTCL.com - Jackpots at: 109 BTC on: March 19, 2014, 12:25:02 AM
Hi all, after a long time solving some real life problems I'm back to change some of how the things work in the lottery:

Now the price for a basic ticket is 0.001 BTC. So, for this reason, I have lowered the jackpots, now the total prizes are 109.0794 BTC

Changed the investment system, check it on: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=296047.msg3183165#msg3183165, I hope that the explanation is good enough, if you have any question I'm here to help.

------------------------------------

For the next draw I will raffle 0.1 BTC between the players that bought tickets, here are the rules:

- Each 0.001 (basic ticket price) will give you one raffle ticket to win 0.1 BTC. This means that if you bought a ticket with 7 numbers by 0.007, you will have 7 raffle tickets.

When the next draw finish I will multiply the winning numbers and divide the result by the total of raffle tickets, then add one to the remainder and we will have the raffle ticket number that won the 0.1 BTC.

The raffle tickets numbers will be based on the ticket files generated before the draw. Let me give an example, lets suppose that the tickets in the tickets file are:

1-2-3-4-5-6 (this will have 1 raffle ticket (ticket number 1))
2-3-4-5-6-7-8 (this will have 7 raffle tickets (ticket numbers 2-8))
3-4-5-6-7-8 (this will have 1 raffle tickets (ticket numbers 9))

If the winner ticket belongs to a SAT (Share-a-Ticket) pool, the prize will be divided between the quotas.

Well, I think this is all, and once again, if you have any questions, sugestions or criticism, I'm here to help. Good Luck all

Confused again Grin

Invested 0.3 BTC
I still have to receive: 0.44998769 BTC
Balance:0.00001231 BTC

When can I withdraw my invested BTC?

The investor's get 2% of each ticket sold (applied to your balance each hour on the hour)

So you'll receive your full BTC0.45 once they sell enough tickets to cover that. Of course that 2% is split proportionately between the investors based on how much they invested.

Right now you're free to withdraw your BTC0.00001231 or wait until they sell more tickets and you get more.

Note: This is only my understanding, I'm pretty sure it's right but if Yabtcl could confirm this it'd be helpful.

Perfect, this is exactly how the system works.

But let me help you guys, as my investment system isn't that simple, I will allow you to ask here if you want your investment back. I will return it if, at the time I see the request, no ticket or pool were bought or activated to the next draw. I will return it with no profit at all.

Example: IdealDarkness invested 0.3, with the tickets bought we paid him 0.00001231. So, if he request the investment back, we will credit his account with 0.29998769. This amount plus 0.00001231 will sum up 0.3

This is a better explanation thank you.  So basically, off the .01 I invested a couple of days ago I've made 213 satoshi.  When this amount hits .015 btc then I will automatically have been "divested."  Is this basically correct?  So, I cannot get my investment back UNTIL it's reached x1.5 of whatever I've invested.

Thanks and good luck with the site!

Actually, the money already in you account is a part of the payment of our debt with you. We pay the investors hourly, based on the amount of tickets bought on that hour. So, after our payment to you, you can do whatever you want with the money.

it might make it it easier to see or visualize if when you enter the investment page if you have invested there is a tally
you have currently funded 0 of 6 draws (and then count up as each draw happen)
Smiley

hmmm, didn't see how this can help, and based on the other post, it only confused the user.

That's clear. I'd like to know when can I get back my money lend to YABTCL. Sooner or later everybody wants his/her money back, they wont lend toYABTCL at the end of  the time Grin
So, my question is so simple like Miley Cyrus. Can I get back my money and withdraw after 6 of  6 draws, or not?

Nowadays, if you lend too much money to YABTCL, you only can get your money back after 6 draws if you bring a lot of players to play it. But we are studying a new invest/lend system that will be better for investors.

sorry about the delay.

So, when 6 of 6 draws ended, I can divest, right?

Let me try to explaing using another word: Lending.

Our investment system works like a lending system. When you lend money to someone, the person will use the money for some reason. In the case of YABTCL, The money will be used to fill the 6 hits jackpot to attract players to the lottery. As the players buy tickets, the house will take 4% of the tickets as profit and half of the profit will be used to pay the investors that lent money to the 6-hits jackpot. The house will pay the investors every top of the clock based on the amount of tickets bought on that hour.

Hope it helps. If not, don't hesitate to ask.

I don't fully understand. "After you invest, you won't be able to divest it"
What do u mean? If I invest, when can I get back my money. If I never get back my money why should I invest???

ok, I am starting to think that this sentence is not well written and maybe is scaring investors.

When you invest, the invested amount will go directly to the jackpot of 6 hits. And as your credits will go directly to the jackpot of 6 hits, this means that when a player buy a ticket he is expecting to won exactly what is informed in the 6-hits jackpot, and also pools can be configured to be activated after the 6-Hits jackpot reach a minimum amount. If you're able to divest, players with activated pools and players with tickets bought expecting the informed jackpot will be disappointed. This is why I'm not allowing "divestments". But, in our lottery the house and the investors don't take risks as for every ticket bought we take out 4% before redistributing the remaining into the jackpots. And you will receive all your investment plus 50% in the end.

You will receive income every top of the clock based on the amount of tickets bought on that hour.

But we are rethinking the way investments are made to see if you find a way to enable divestments.

When I call command to wallet cez RPC API (json), PHP stops working and stops sending data to client (apache2).

I can communicate with wallet cez SSH with no problem.

I don't know, it looks like is a problem in your code, maybe if you post some snipped it will be easier to identify the problem.
