1 month change of monero against BTC= -24
3 months change of monero against BTC =-36
Even the change is negative during the BTC bull run, the performance of monero is not bad comparing other big alts. And still in profit agains USD.

Few of my friends have already dump there altcoins and buy bitcoin straight up ,I hope they make the right choice ,if not? That might be the biggest wrong move of their lives.

ETH still swimming in the 300$ + river ,what do you think will happen if ETH jumps to 900 or 1000$?
It is impossible to predict the top of BTC bull run, after the top, during the correction, alt season will start. I prefer to hold my alts to increase my BTC. maybe I am wrong time will tell us in a few months. |

ETH is one of the best performing big alt at the moment. Even it lost some value against BTC, still, it has a good profit against USD. Many big alt lost their value against BTC and USD. When the BTC parabolic movement finish, ETH is going to start its own bull run.

Many people buy and invest altcoins because they are high-profit potential. They don't care about technology or ecosystems or market etc.
Libra is a stable coin and even if the technology is better (!!!) than ETH, XRP etc... many people will not invest in a fiat stable coin.

I understand that Libra coin is "centralized", but so is XRP...How can you love XRP, but hate Libra coin? Granted, I don't support or like FB, but this is a giant step towards mainstream adoption. I am using some of them actively like IDEX or forkdelta (etherdelta). I think the most important reason is their unfriendly user interface. It is not easy to use them. That's why their volume is not big.

We already know loads of tokens that come to the market with their values way less than 1 satoshi as their market value most especially tokens that exist under the ethereum framework. am talking about tokens like Tourist Token (TOTO). https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tourist-token/What is their fate in the crypto space.? This coin is 2 BTC total marketcap which means already dead. I don't suggest anyone to buy a coin like this. In the future, 99.9% of the altcoins are going to die. Maybe even the biggest ones. |

They deleted my account a long time ago, I don`t really care about them. As I hear it will be some stable coin, what we are going to do with stable coin? We invest in coins with potentially great future, stable coins are just for trading purposes, to keep your amount stable for a while, nothing more.
Yea Libra is going to be a stable coin. But this coin is not for the investment or for ICO/IEO. They will use it just for a payment system in the near future. But I am not sure for the long term. I think for the long term they will use this coin for different purposes. |

We even dont know that the bull run has started or we are in an accumulation zone at the moment. Of course, after accumulation zone, the bull run will start but we have to wait and see where is the top of this bull run to answer this question. We also have to see a retracement. |

I am holding XRP, ETH and BLZ at the moment. I will sell my XRP's when the price will hit my 1 USD target to buy BTC. My eth/btc target is 0.1. I will also sell my eth at that price. and my BLZ target is 2000 sat.
And I will be happy with my BTC amount.

to find out a coin that is going 10x is really hard, lets be realist. But 2x - 3x is far more easy, any thoughts?  You have to wait for the end of BTC's dramatic movement first. During this bear market (for alts of course) it is almost impossible to find a coin which is going to increase X3 its price. |

if btc retraces 30 to 40 percent when it hits 13k to 15k what will happen to alts will they fall as well or will they go up or how would it play out? only long term players please..
BTC is moving parabolically at the moment. Before the finish of this movement, alts will not start their bull run. And while BTC moves dramatically (upside or to the downside no matter) alts are always going down. |

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Never HODL for a long time except for BTC and some big alts like ETH or XRP. 99.9% of the coins/tokens are going to die in a few years. You can invest for a short period of time but never long term. |
