Stop pow and increase pos reward maybe?
Good idea! 8%?

Community Proposal
I am opening up the discussion to ending the PoW period early and going to PoS. I have had a lot of feedback that the multipool dumps are hurting and regular miners have stopped mining.
In order to do this we would need to have a dev on board to assist with this as this is not something I could go back to the launch dev for.
This would require ANOTHER HARD FORK which generally are bad. If we do this should we go to PoS or stay PoW with block halving?
POST YOUR THOUGHTS!
*THIS IS NOT A STATEMENT THAT WE ARE REDUCING THE POW PERIOD* JUST A DISCUSSION *
Wouldnt PoW with halving just causes dumping at the halving periods. Good point. I just bought about 7.7K and the price stayed where it was before. I think the buyers are just feeding the dumpers. So we should turn to pure POS as soon as possible.

Is staking broken? If I found POS block my POS weight is restarted to zero That is normal. If all your coins were the same age you will have to wait at least 24 hours to get another PoS block. In your post #878 you stated that you already received confirmed POS blocks. How come? The whole purpose of the fork was to fix the PoS blocks not working. When we hit block 6000 there were a lot of orphaned blocks which was expected due to PoS difficulty. As things settled down I wanted to confirm that not only were PoS blocks found by my wallet but they were confirmed too because some of the early PoS blocks were not confirmed. All looks good now! PoS blocks can be seen in our block explorer: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/judge/You are right! 15 minutes ago I received my first interest payment. YAY!!!

3 hours ago I received my first interest payment. At least it seemed so: it was marked as "generated but not accepted". Is this normal?
Happens rather infrequently, it means someone else generated block slightly before you. If PoS is working properly you have not lost any coin-age and will Stake again soon enough. Thank you, I know that happens with my other POS coins too. Since about 15 hours staking is active. I got my first coins 4 days ago but still got no payment. OP states that minimum coin age is 24 hours.

Nice one!

Finally the great coin I was looking for months. It's almost perfect.
Only almost? We're clearly not trying hard enough! What would make it "perfect" for you at this stage? We're always listening to your ideas so do let us know. There's no such thing as a perfect coin. If the dev stays committed this coin could have a bright future.

Ok, just an update for all those who tried to help me building the new wallet: After setting up a fresh Ubuntu at Virtual box, I had to install miniupnpc and double the RAM assigned to VB. After a full day of suffering and cursing the new wallet finally built. So let me say a big "Thank you" to all the helpful people.

Heh, it's so funny to trade this coin. Everytime you put a few buys in, someone immediately dumps it afterwards.
Looks like buyers feeding the dumpers, but this necessarily will come to an end. Dumpers will bite their asses then.

Hey. Trying to help rainer, but I am not getting any joy either. Did you attempt this on Ubuntu 14.04? x64? I have tried 3 different attempts to build from the various INSTALL/README/readme-qt.rst and I can't get a compile to work with any of them.
Maybe I am not the guy to help rainer, try the solution above and see if it helps you.
Thank you. Yes, I tried with x64 of course. You have to know that this is not my first wallet. I built about 50 or 60 before. Except of a few smaller issues they built fine. No clue why this is refusing. Well, I started a new installation of Ubuntu on an external drive. Partitioning will take several hours. So I guess the installation will be finished tomorrow evening. In the meantime I can't mine. I doubt it that this is a satisfying solution.

Okay thanks. Gimme a bit, I need to build a new Ubuntu 14.04 machine, normally I run 12.04. If I can get wallet compiled then I will post the steps.
Glad that you are trying to help. I will be patient.

add BDB_LIB_SUFFIX=-5.1 in *.pro file
This made it even worse. I got tons of undefined references in bitcoin.cpp, bitcoingui.cpp etc. Too long to post here. Examples bitcoin.cpp:(.text+0xacc): Undefined reference to `QString::fromAscii(char const*, int)' bitcoingui.cpp:(.text+0x195): Undefined reference to `QMetaObject::tr(char const*, char const*) const'
Thank you anyway for trying to help. I just compiled on ubuntu 14.04 without problems. purge libdb and install this: aptitude install libdb-dev and keep the original *.pro I did what you suggested. Now I got this: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb_cxx collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
sudo locate db_cxx /usr/include/db_cxx.h /usr/lib/libdb_cxx-5.1.so /usr/lib/libdb_cxx-5.3.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdb_cxx-5.3.a /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdb_cxx-5.3.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdb_cxx.a /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdb_cxx.so /usr/local/db_cxx.h /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/docs/programmer_reference/upgrade_3_0_db_cxx.html /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include/db_cxx.h /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.a /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.la /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.so /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.so /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx.a /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx.so I can't even build the daemon. Same crappy "db_cxx" error. I think this won't build here and my JUDGE are lost. Congrats! 100 Judge Coin bounty to whomever can help get Rainer4256 to compile his wallet.Rainer, what version of Ubuntu are you running? Is it completely up to date: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade ?? Keep the bounty Judge. Let's see what happens. Hi, I'm on 14.04, my OS is updated and upgraded.

Why would you Judge be lost? Save your wallet.dat file. Do you not have the old wallet?
Sure I have saved it. But how can I use it without a wallet or daemon?
